They have been our family podiatrist for a few years now and the staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure our family is taken care of. DISHONEST and UNETHICAL. And the front staff hostile and don't know or won't do their jobs. First, The Dr wanted an MRI, that was in the initial authorization. The staff REFUSED TO READ THE AUTH. They had to go back to the VA which took months. Diagnostics are preauthorized. The staff refused to look for it and in the end got several letters telling them it was preauthorized. This was early OCTOBER! End result, I did not get the MRI until Feb or March! WTF! So their being lazy denied me care for five to six months. The Dr. requested PRT plasma rich therapy. It was aproved. AWESOME! Again their staff didn't have it, I had to download my records and send it to them and call the VA to resend it. No problem right? WRONG! I can hardly walk by then and its only gotten worse now. The Dr only gives me steroid injections that no longer work. Whats the point? Last visit, I say good news, and ask, "So what is the treatment plan?" \ She begins ranting, when I bring up the PRT, "The VA authorized it, but they won't pay it...they won't pay what its worth." WTF? You have an auth and a contract. She now says, "Amniotic therapy is what I want to do, but you have to pay for it. Because the VA won't!" WTF! She had an auth that was aproved and now she doesn't want to do it and wants to do something that is not and that insurance won't cover to be paid under the table. That is highly questionable. I again ask, "What is the treatment plan." Again she rants, "I ordered braces and that which you will have to pay for....thats the plan." To date there have been no requests for braces and no request for additional care. At the conclusion of that apt, I ask, "So how long before a followup" she replies, "As needed" that is not an answer. Since steroids no longer work and there are no requests for braces or other care. So she is doing unethical practices in my book. Buyer Beware! I have reported them to the inspector general and they are now very interested. read more

My husband couldn't stop giving her good reviews. On his follow up appointment I went with him and was just as impressed. She is very personable and knowledgeable. The customer service is fantastic and the nurses are well trained. The doctor is pleasant, knowledgeable, and beautiful in how she treats us. The overall cost of the treatment was $800+ with me having to pay a little more than half of it. I've started being serviced since late July and now nearing the end of October. Nothing has changed with the pain I'm having. I have no complaints but merely concerns about non-transparent (or deceptive) practices. What makes me give this a 3 star instead of a 4 or 5 star was the billing department. During the call to pay my bill, I mentioned to the billing department I didn't know where my bill was, therefore I might have lost it. Then the person immediately quotes me for a higher price of ~$300 than what was billed and she was ready to take my payment. After I told her I found the bill, she proceeds to change the price to ~$200. She then tries to cover up the price inflation as a system issue... as if the price was memoized/cached under the architecture of the software. I paid the bill. If you have full and complete healthcare coverage, by all means go to this doctor. She is wonderful and a dear to her patients. I strongly do not recommend going here if you're paying some of it out of pocket. read more

Dr. Amin saved my a$$ today... err, I mean my foot. I injured it last night, found her on yelp this morning, got a same day appointment, and came in. They just moved into their new office and it was gorgeous and clean. They have implemented COVID controls consisting of social distancing, face masks, signage, constant sanitization, etc. The front desk was super friendly and helpful-- she even helped me disinfect my credit card and hands after checking in with their tablet. Something great about this office is how they use a digital process for intake paperwork. I freaking hate filling out paper forms and their process was super easy. Dr. Amin has fantastic bedside manner and I really appreciated her care. She even let me take a photo of her wrapping my foot. LOL! The staff is very friendly and caring. I first came in with a lump on my foot that both my PC and rheumatologist didn't know what it was and sent me to Dr Amin. She took a look at xray and examined my foot and knew exactly. I have Charcot foot which is a rare condition and if gets missed can causes severe damage. For the past 2 years, my 6 year old was suffering from extremely dry cracked feet and he could walk and play like a normal boy. We found the Corona Foot & Ankle Group with the help of Yelp. We needed to get our 99 y/o mother (will be 100 in less than 2 weeks) in for a quick "Medical Pedicure" and gave them a call. We ended up on their voice mail (they couldn't take our call), but within 5 minutes, they were calling us back. Over-the-top, is the best way to describe this first phone encounter with Simta. She was patient, kind and understanding and was able to get us scheduled in for the next day. Absolutely wonderful service. The day of the appointment, easy to find, easy parking, walked right in w/o any problem. Warmly greeted and mom was taken back after only a 5-minute wait (I was not allowed to accompany her (the room would only comfortably accommodate one patient and one staff). During the hour-long visit, I was able to observe both Simta's telephone etiquette and patient greeting style. On a 1-10 scale, she's absolutely an 11. At the end of the visit, I was asked to come back to the room. Fearing the worse, I assumed that there was either a serious foot issue that had to be addressed or she'd fallen asleep. Wrong - they all gathered (and when I say all, I mean every office emptied out) and they gave her two roses and all sang Happy Birthday to her. Absolutely amazing care and phenomenal bedside manner. Very unhappy. Initial doctor has a waiting time of 1-2 months. I saw new doctor in office who told me to call office for biopsy results. When I did call for biopsy results I was told I could not do a phone visit and would have to come in for results. This after the doctor telling me I could call for results. I saw another doctor and it was a minor issue not requiring a office visit simply a call to pharmacy. I told office manager I did not want to take a day off for an office visit if it was minor. She was very hostile. It took 3 months to get my written Biopsy and Scan/Medicare calling them. I paid out of pocket to go to another podiatrist ... this is no way to treat patients. My dad is diabetic and battling lung cancer. We saw two other doctors who wanted to amputate my dad's entire toe and one even his whole foot! None gave a second thought of his overall health and how this surgery would be going through chemo and radiation. It takes even longer to heal. I saw Dr. Amin when she was in another office. Was disappointed because I was unable to find where she moved her practice. I finally found she new address and I have since been back to see her. Working in a hospital, I believe I know what to look for in a Doctor and it is so refreshing to have a Doctor that not only TREATS your problem, but takes the time to explain why you have it, and also provides instructions on how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. Best experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Period. I waited too long after an injury to my big toe. Nail was jammed into the toe and had to be surgically removed. Infected. A real mess. Dr Amin and her staff were fantastic! Super friendly and professional. Took care of it on the spot. While I was there on the follow up visit, I mentioned a hard callus on my other foot that felt like walking on a piece of glass. She knew exactly what it was and was able to take care of it, again, on the spot. The difference was night and day. I was literally amazed at how much better it felt immediately. I love Dr. Amin!! I had a case that was super complicated and difficult to diagnose. I have been in pain for nearly ten years and previous doctors blamed it on an old injury and told me I would have to live with it. Dr. Amin refused to give up on me.
