I would highly recommend Jacque for future projects. I found him to be very straight forward and transparent in our discussions prior to the work being performed. He rejuvenated our stamped concrete driveway with new stain and seal, and he did a great job of restoring our flagstone to it's former glory by removing flakey white old sealant and laying down a new seal coat. Unfortunately, just after I wrote a Rave review, some issues came up with the flooring that needed to be addressed. Although the owner of SoCal offered to come by and investigate in November he has not come back. My contractor has reached out to have SoCal return to do a repair and reseal but to date it hasn't happened. I have a tenant and their moving truck arriving next week. We have stamped concrete that I've tried to seal many times. It always looks great for a few months and ultimately the sun and heat flakes the sealant. SoCal seal stripped the old sealer and applied a new coat. Happy with the current look. Said it stays for a couple years. If that is true this is a 5 star review. Jacques was fast and professional. I got a couple of quotes, went with the best review appose to cost, although SoCal Seal had slightly a better cost. They were on time on the initial visit, and on time for work. I'm so glad went with Jacques who is the owner and operator of SoCal Seal. He is a surgeon of pavers, he likes his work and is attention to detail. I previously made a mistake in using the wrong seal, which caused my pavers to turn grayish and losing its original look and color as you see on the pictures, but Jacques removed the old seal, and brought it back to its original color, then sealed it with the right stuff. This is the company to use if you need to have pavers restored and sealed. Jacques, the owner, showed up on time for the estimate and we immediately felt comfortable with his knowledge of our paver problem. Apparently, the previous owners had used the wrong sealer that was difficult to remove and also caused the pavers to have a cloudy appearance. What impressed me was that Jacques actually spent almost an hour educating us about what the problem was. Then he cleaned a section to show us what we could expect. This included applying a cleaner then using his high pressure hot water to fully clean it. That convinced us. He spent time at the beginning and it was clear he would do a good job. When he did the work, he was organized, neat and clean (well, as neat and clean as it could be). We even had him pressure wash the sidewalks that had some greenish areas due to "organic material." We think the sealer that he chose was perfect and now the pavers look just like new! This was a good experience for us. The fee was in line, maybe a little less than some others, and the work was stellar and exceeded our expectations. On top of that, Jacques was a really nice guy. Jacques (the owner) gave us the best estimate and used what looks like a very good sealer on our stamped concrete. He was on time for every appointment and finished when he said he would. He power washed the concrete, used a solvent on some areas where the calcium buildup was heavy then recolored and sealed the concrete. Excellent job all around. We were supposed to meet him at our new house at 8:00 A.M. and when we arrived exactly at 8:00 A.M., not only he was already there but he was already working on our pavers!!!
