Gave Chris a call and although they were busy he was able to get his installer Matthew to come out next day and give my wife the estimate since I couldn't be there due to work commitments. On the scheduled day of install, it ended up raining and had to be pushed back to the following week and I was able to be home to watch Matthew install the fence. Matthew spent time showing me where he was going to drill and wanted my approval on distance away from the lip of the pool. He did a great install and showed me how to take it down, re-assemble, etc. My new pool cleaner guy also came out during the install and Matthew just listened in to ensure that he was legit. Whenever I had a concern or question, Tom or someone from his crew would quickly get back to me. One example of going above and beyond was when we unboxed our microwave for installation. Unfortunately, we unboxed our microwave on the 17th day after purchase. We thought we had 30 days. The microwave had a huge dent. I called the retail store and they refused to replace it. They said they could only give me a gift card for $40. Tom was able to use his contacts and the store then replaced the microwave. I also appreciated that Tom listened, gave suggestions and helped us with how I wanted the kitchen to function. Our family and friends still tell us how much they like the set up and style of our beautiful kitchen!

Tom and crew did a lot of work for us but he and his crew missed the mark when it came to making a…read moreconcrete countertop for our kitchen. This concrete sealant or whatever you want to call it was apparently the first time this product was used by him which I would not suggest he do with anyone else. I believe he had a choice to use an industrial grade product (as I requested) since our request was to make the countertop "shine like Costco's floor" but this is what the product looked like after a few months. He guaranteed that he would redo the countertop to our satisfaction but he stopped working on this even though the final product came out looking like crap - and after the third attempt as well. Unfortunately Tom elected to no longer work with us after I pointed out some of his other shortfalls so just keep this in mind when getting bids. Tom often likes to use a guesstimate bidding versus providing a formal quote. Sure it cuts down on costs, but you might not get what you thought you were getting since nothing is in a formal quote many times. I could point out other things that just were not done very well like when our Sub-Zero fridge showed up and Tom's crew didn't read the specifications correctly so the crew could not install the fridge and Tom's crew had to fix the opening in the kitchen and then the Sub-Zero crew had to come back a week later. The instructions were clear and Sub-Zero has very detailed specs - but the crew didn't pay attention to them. Again, just things like that were a normal occurrence throughout the entire time we had Tom do our projects. His father's custom kitchen cabinets turned out ok - looked very nice, but some of the trim pieces were not lined up on other areas. Just little annoyances. Anyway, nice bunch of people, but not what you'd expect for the several tens of thousands of dollars we spent over a year.

I hired Jacob O'Neil to completely remove the warped flooring and subfloor in my mothers mobile…read morehome and to install all new flooring, vapor barrier and underlayment and replace/paint baseboards. Although initially i was surprised there were no reviews on this company, his wife who i talked to explained that although they had been doing construction for several years, this was a new company, therefore they had no reviews posted. He had also done some work for some other people in the mobile home park who were very happy with him. After talking to his wife Michelle who was VERY friendly and very helpful, i met Jacob at my moms house. He has a wonderful demeanor and seemed very confident in his capability to do this job. He estimated 2 weeks (which seemed very quick to me) 3 other companies quoted 4-6 weeks. So i liked this! Everything moved very smoothly and within a little over 2 weeks the floor was installed. Jacob did return to correct a few things that were not done properly by some of his crew, (baseboard work) and although this worried me, ..Jacob assured me he would make things correct. And he DID! he originally gave me a discount for re-purposing some of my moms shoe-base but when it did not turn out correctly, he went and bought new baseboards and installed and painted them at no extra charge. The job took more than 2 weeks, about 3.. but with the holidays, he was gracious working on the weekends to ensure the work he did was professional. Jacob was always extremely polite and very flexible. Where many companies may bolt or never to be heard of again if you were dissatisfied with something, Jacob made sure we were happy when he was done. Highly recommend this company.
