I booked Social Cycle for a bachelorette weekend, and it was hands down one of the best parts of the trip! Captain Aaron made the entire experience so much fun. He had great energy, made sure we had a safe ride, offered to take tons of group photos, and really got our group into the party spirit. He knew where to go for an authentic Palm Springs experience, and gave great recommendations for later. The whole experience was organized and easy, with Bluetooth speakers for music. You did have to pedal, but it was not strenuous. Participants under 5'4" may have difficulty reaching certain pedals; however, some spots were situated higher than others. If you are debating to do Social Cycle this is your sign to DO IT! It was so much fun and probably the highlight of my Bach party! We didn't realize how much fun it is. Our 2 hours flew by. We went from 8-10 pm which was the last time slot available but so much more worth it. It is too hot during the day and also all the fun around the area after. The meet up spot was a little odd and I think we were weary at first because it also was darker out. Clayton was our captain and he was excellent! He was fun and easy going. We had an amazing time and a lot had to do with our Captain Jonathan. He was so easy going, extremely fun, walked us into the bars & would let us stay longer wherever we pleased. Took our pictures when we asked and was very willing to do whatever creative things we asked. As for the cycle part - the one we had was a bit hard. We're all about 5'2 -5'3. So peddling was hard, we barely reached them, had to sit at the edge of the seat or stand. Luckily it's electric motored so that helped a lot but we still wanted to help out captain Jonathan. Where do I start!!! This was the best experience in Palm Springs for a Bachelorette activity! Jonathan was our tour guide and from the start he had us laughing, turned up our music and was so helpful to find us the best bars. He also reminded us when we would leave, when to start finishing up and when to be on our way. We went to Chill Bar, Wangs in the Desert & lastly Tommy Bahamas- Marlin Grill. We loved all of them we just wished the last spot kept up still "up beat" that is all we would change! The frozen drinks at TB were THE BEST and all drinks for the ride was happy hour prices. We came here on a Friday night for a bachelorette party. It was such a fun, easy thing to do. I came to do Social Cycle on a work trip with my team(of 15) and had a wonderful time with Jonathan captaining our bike. The route we went on was great, visiting a few nice bars all within good distance from eachother. And the bike's departure and arrival point was located not too far away from bars themselves. Anyway, Jonathan did a wonderful job breaking down the trip, giving tips to us non-locals, and being very positive and friendly throughout the whole ride. We fell behind on time on our last bar and caused the ride to last a little longer than planned(sorry Jonathan), but he was still extremely nice and positive regardless. 15 people from the bachelorette party pedaling in the rain with yellow ponchos. It was such a fun experience. We had the pleasure of having Captain Jonathan as our guide. He was very good at making things fun, keeping morale boosted, and making sure we were on schedule (though we did go over by a 5-10 minutes because we didn't want to rush and slip) without making things seem rush. The bars that he selected were very diverse and unique in their own way. A bar with cheap drinks and amazing music. An upscale bar with plenty of seating room. A dive bar with sports playing in the background. It was definitely challenging - you really have to work. Out of the 15 seats, there were 10 that had pedals and 5 that didn't - which is perfect since we rotated people. Would definitely do it again. read more

We took this tour a few weeks ago as a part of a bachelorette party and it was great! You get to play your own music, sing, and ride right through downtown. You can't drink on the cycle due to Palm Springs city laws right now, which is a shame, but props to Social Cycle for still having a great experience. If you book the pedal tour for two hours, don't plan on stopping for food, and stick to just the bars. Our favorite stop was the Tommy Bahamas! Our guide Jonathan was super fun and kept us moving at a good pace. One improvement/point of note, if you're short, it's really difficult to reach the pedals!
