We had our Wedding Reception in the Clubhouse, we had live music, a singer and pianist graced the stage. A beautiful patio with wonderful view of the mountains, welcomed our guest. The club Chairs and Tables are available at no charge, which is a nice addition to the rental, and the cleaning fee, makes it easier to not stress on clean up after a Party. A service Kitchen is available with the Dishes, and Glasses and Refrigerators as well as a Bar set up. Our own caterer was able to serve us our delicious Food, Drinks and Desert. We could have not asked for a better venue to enjoy our family and friends at our Wedding Reception, Yes a day to be remembered!

There are better things to do in Palm Springs and surrounding areas than be a part of this group. I certainly have been a part of a better women's club that began with the name Welcome Wagon and was later changed to Northern Virginia Women's Club who met only at a country club where a choice of fine lunches were served. I would not like for anyone else to jump through the hoops and insincerity that they put one through.

Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. The pool area with the back drop of the mountains is so beautiful. The saloon area is so nicely done and the accommodations are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. It's also great because there are so many casitas so multiple families can rent the homes and enjoy the property together. It's also so nice seeing all the horses and other animals on the property which makes it fun for kids. Can't wait to come back!

All of our guests loved the grounds, they are really the perfect setting for the weekend. Thies and Brandon, the property managers, are very cool dudes and were just super easy to work with. Cathedral City has some pretty rigid rules, but Thies told us how to set up our speakers to be loud enough for a good time without breaking any city ordinances. During our stay there, we used pretty much all of the grounds throughout the weekend. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the dinner/reception were all held in different areas. Some of our friends played tennis in the morning, and we used the big pool and hot tub as well. The smaller pool was pretty cold as we were there in March, but heating the big pool was definitely worth it for our Saturday, post-wedding pool party. We did not have any issues with the plumbing, it was great having our friends stay with us for the weekend, and again, Thies and Brandon were excellent to work with. Highly recommend this place if you want to make your wedding a weekend affair to remember. Hopefully we can book this for our 10 and 20 year anniversaries. Thanks again.

Cree Estate is tucked away a little outside of Palm Springs in a property that boasts in lush trees and greenery. If I was blindfolded and brought here, I would think I was in Costa Rica or some other tropical destination. The wedding party got to enjoy a few nights' stay in the houses of this property while the guests stayed at nearby hotels. The houses are charming with rustic furniture and comfy beds. We loved the main pool with all the inter-tubes; just what the doctor ordered the day after the wedding! The bride & groom brought in a dj, bartender and catering service they knew. I guess they had Soho Tacos catering the night of the wedding, which I love! Wish I had known. It would have probably helped me out the next morning!

The condos/homes are spacious, light & bright with high ceilings and beautiful views of the golf courses... The swimming pools are all nice but kinda small...and the jacuzzi spas aren't hot enough... And happy I wasn't forced to workout at this facility... The Clubhouse tho is very nice...and Letty at the front desk is so friendly & welcoming...and sweet as can be... But the star of the show is/was Dennis at the Clubhouse restaurant/bar. Friendly cool dude who know's his stuff, has extensive experience in the restaurant/bar industry, provides amazing & professional service...and he was able to keep up with me while talking about sports :) Had their Ahi Tuna for a pre dinner Appetizer and it was fantastico. The "center-cut ahi tuna" was extremely fresh...and all the flavors of the dish paired very well. They do something with the sauces that's not common -- they use hoisin sauce, instead of sweet eel sauce, and together with their spicy tuna aioli it's a perfect combination. Because IMO, most eel sauces are too sweet & sugary. Compliments to the Head Chef. We intend to comeback one day for brunch because believe it or not, their Lox & Bagel Plate is only $13...and the funny thing is, when we saw that on the menu, wifey & I discussed a return visit in the future...and when we began our conversation with Dennis, discussing their menu, he told us "you need to comeback another day for the $13 Lox & Bagel Plate" and we all had a good laugh about that. The place is in desperate need of a full gut remodel. We were relegated to the 'back room,' which was barely air conditioned, and the only clean thing in the room was the flatware, eating utensils, and food presented by an outside catering company. It was difficult to eat the wonderful food that was provided without gagging. Nav sends you to another business behind it with a vast parking lot. Street parking is non-existent. I ended up using a 20-minute zone. I have no idea where everyone else parked, but I have to assume it was this huge, tilted parking lot at the business behind. Accessing this, 'meeting hall' from that parking lot is harrowing and definitely NOT ADA or disability-friendly. You couldn't PAY ME to return to this place.

The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite moments was sitting outside in the morning with a good book, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. There is also an outdoor patio area where you can eat and take in the scenery. I loved seeing the fireplaces around the property too; I can imagine how cozy they must be during the cooler months. Now let's talk about one of the biggest perks: the pool is truly open 24 hours. Not "almost" 24 hours, actually 24 hours! I definitely took advantage of that and found myself enjoying the heated pool at 1:00 a.m. It was such a relaxing experience and something you don't find at many hotels. What really made this stay stand out, though, was the customer service. Every single employee I encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to help. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The only potential downside is that there are no elevators. It wasn't an issue for me, but if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or have mobility concerns, it's something to keep in mind. I wasn't able to try the complimentary breakfast, which is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., so I can't speak on the food. But based on the rest of my experience, I would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, a heated pool you can enjoy anytime, and outstanding customer service, this place is definitely worth a visit.

For context: every two years, I donate my time to mentor a small group of aspiring photographers who fly in to work with me for about a week. It's a non-profit initiative that continues the legacy of my own mentor when I was a teenager. For the upcoming workshop, we planned to start with two days around the Salton Sea, and this hotel looked like a wonderful fit. After some research, we contacted the hotel and asked if they could match an offer we had received for this hotel from the German travel portal HRS for five double rooms (two beds per room) for $1,848 all-inclusive for two nights, including breakfast. It was slightly above our budget, but we were willing to make it work. The sales manager replied: "I think I can work with you on the rate. I just want to make sure a single king-size bed in each room is ok and if 6 rooms will be enough for your group." We confirmed that arrangement, adjusted our group so most participants would share beds for the two nights, and accepted the sixth room offered to accommodate everyone. We then: - confirmed the booking - received and returned the credit card authorization form - drove to the hotel to inspect the property in person - cancelled the alternatives we had on hold Two days later, we received another message from the hotel explaining that the rate had been misunderstood internally -- it had been read as $1,848 per night rather than for the two-night stay. Unfortunately, despite a long email exchange, the hotel ultimately declined to honor the arrangement and suggested we look elsewhere. The result: we had to restart the search on short notice, and I will now make another 500-mile round trip to inspect the replacement hotel. That was disappointing, especially because the property itself looked lovely and we were genuinely excited about staying there. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, the solution was to ask the customer to absorb the consequences. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend confirming rates and all conditions very carefully, particularly since they upcharge a resort rate - and when scouting it, it felt like a very nice small boutique hotel to me, far away from a resort (which was fine to me, as we were looking for a place to sleep and leave after breakfast ;-)

Absolutely terrible experience…read more We booked this Airbnb expecting a normal stay, but instead got constant stress and zero transparency. The host never properly explained the noise policy, and suddenly we were being threatened with fines and eviction over things that were never clearly communicated. At one point, random people showed up, claimed we had to leave, gave us a "2-hour notice" with no documents, and even disabled the door access. Completely unprofessional and honestly felt unsafe. This ruined our entire trip. No support, no accountability, just pressure and intimidation. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Be very careful booking here -- what you see is definitely not what you get.
