It was simply no contest! Also, Chef David and the Event Coordinator, Allen, were such a pleasure to work with. They helped us craft the perfect menu for our guests modeled after some of our favorite NYC restaurant menus (many of our family and friends are foodies so we didn't want to disappoint) while also staying within our budget. Our wedding was on a ranch with just one normal house kitchen as opposed to a professional set up. Despite the challenge, the food turned out amazing and was enjoyed by all!!! Many of our guests were talking about how good the food was. Their steak, chicken, vegetables and desserts were all delicious. The appetizers during happy hour were all amazing too. We would really recommend the tres major steak, the ahi tuna tacos, and the parmesan souffle, but everything tasted great. They were also very accommodating to our vegan guests, preparing a nice option for them. We would recommend them to anybody looking for wedding catering!

I could not believe how difficult it was to find a caterer in the area. No one would even call me back! Finally, someone recommended Robert at Carousel. Lo and behold, he actually returned my email - and on the next business day even! He had pricing to me in a timely manner and was willing and able to work with me on budget and menus. We did a tasting in January and to be honest, I wasn't sure what I was going to do if I didn't like their food. Luckily, it turned out that I had absolutely nothing to worry about because the food was SO good!! My favorites were the Gaucho cookies and these amazing little Beef Panini sandwiches. For breakfast both days they did these mini-frittatas that I absolutely loved as well. All of their staff is friendly and they all seem to really care about what they are doing and the client. The Chef, Dave, is amazingly sweet to work with and again, you can tell he really cares about doing a great job. They went so far above and beyond my expectations and took care of many details that I hadn't even asked them to, which made my job so much easier. I have planned 5 of these annual meetings and Carousel is probably the best caterer I've worked with yet. I highly recommend them and their food. Thank you Carousel for an amazing event!

We had such a fun and unique stay at Lazy C Ranch! It's tucked away right along the mountains, so…read moreyou really get that peaceful, western ranch feel, but you're still just a short drive from downtown Palm Springs and everything there is to do. We came with a big group of families and stayed in several of the different casitas throughout the property, which was honestly perfect. We basically had our own little ranch getaway! Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. The kids had a blast, the adults got to relax, and having so much of the ranch to ourselves made the whole weekend even more special. Such a hidden gem in Palm Springs!!

On about the 5th call we booked our massages and they asked if we were celebrating - since we were celebrating a birthday they said "Great! We'll have a champagne toast for you after the massages." We came out of the massages, no champagne toast. The amenities are very limited. One coed swimming pool and jacuzzi. One steam room in the women's locker room (I'm sure the men have the same.). The resorts pool is adjacent to the spa so the music from the pool can be heard in the spa - the bass just bumping. The floors are stained. The massage was mediocre. The massage beds are nice. They move to the position required for your massage. There's a nice warm neck pillow. The massage "enhancements" are a rip off. The collagen mask is literally an out of the package sheet mask. Overall for $400 for a massage this was not worth it. Won't be back.

A plus was that since I went on a Monday, there was 5 people including myself that had day passes. Once they were gone I had the whole place to myself for about 3 hours. Quality of items were nice.
