By distinguishing himself through customer service. I came to contact Clay through a referral of a fellow coworker that held him in extremely high regard. I'm a numbers guy, so I always think to myself, what's the payout like for their time? Well I'm here to tell you that for realtors and rentals, it's not all that high. It's a volume game, and the truth of the matter is that realtors stand to make a lot more from clients that are buying/selling rather than leasing. Even with that in mind, Clay's responsiveness was top notch throughout the whole time, and with the crazy Austin market in mind we needed a realtor that was going to be if we were hoping to win out during the application process. Our particular situation was one where Clay was out of the office in a different country and STILL coordinated with his office to see a property the same day it was listed and get the paperwork completed the next morning. Even the listing agent had stated that the property had double digit applications within 48 hours.
