We have been taking Bo here for almost two years now and started taking his sibling Sissy now as…read morewell. They love it here and always have a great time. The staff loves animals and they really care about their happiness and well being. I love that they offer PAWTIES to the doggies- its an additional charge but you get a nice picture of your fur children and they seem to get treats :D The young man who seems to be the manager is always so friendly and helpful, they always remember my pups and me and they make a visit here feel like an extension of our home. The dogs wish they could come everyday and are super excited when its a daycare day. Will be back and recommend this to anyone who has doggies- both large and small.

I have a 7-year-old German Shepherd who is extremely well-behaved and has been boarded regularly…read moresince she was very young. Before booking, my dog completed her evaluation day at Folsom Dog Resort, and everything went very well. Based on that experience, we signed up both my dog and my daughter's dog for boarding from June 4 through June 8. When I picked them up on June 8, my dog initially seemed fine. However, my daughter's dog had just vomited a large amount of water when they brought her out. Later that day, my dog also didn't seem herself. She stopped eating and then developed diarrhea. When I checked in with my daughter, her dog was experiencing similar symptoms. I called Folsom Dog Resort to express my concerns. Unfortunately, the person who took my call did not seem particularly interested in the situation, and I never received any follow-up communication. My daughter ended up taking her dog to the veterinarian and is still waiting to learn what caused the illness. My dog has still not fully recovered. Because of this experience, I will not be bringing my dog back.
