Their burgers are so good!!! Plus they have yummy appetizers!!!! Definitely a place we eat at often.

Another week. Another entry into the South Tulsa breakfast scene. Society is an odd place. We arrived in time for brunch but before a crowd. Many employees were standing around against the back wall. One was pacing around the center. Pacing. Pacing. Pacing. Around and around and around. Pacing. The server was attentive and pleasant. Refills were timely and order taking was easy. The offer of alcohol as a beverage so early on a Sunday morning was a bit startling, but understandable as this is essentially a McNellies analogue. The food took a bit longer than it should. We ordered the Thicc Biscuit, Chicken and Corn Cakes, and Maple Bacon Tots, which were suggested as a side. It felt odd ordering a side at breakfast, but it felt good to be bougie. The Tots were a poor decision. Greasy, or cooked in burnt grease, or old Tots, or hard to tell what went wrong - one of the least palatable things I've ever put in my mouth. A car wreck of a dish. It needs a lot of help, a dipping sauce, a complete rethink, removal from the menu. I may be scarred for life. The Thicc Biscuit was a highlight. Interesting and exciting, it had a significant miss that kepts it from being a strong breakfast contender. The egg was hard cooked. Now I've written thousands of words about eggs and how there is no excuse to over cook them. Just not one. Elevating this dish means a soft centered egg with a gooey center that brings the biscuit, bacon, sausage, and syrup together, not a dry powdery egg that conflicts with the potential of the food. This could have been so good, but it was merely food, not so bad as to send back, but a huge miss and a shame. The Chicken and Corn Cakes has a rather understated presentation. The chicken was a bit greasy, but was juicy and appropriately spicy. The Corn Cakes were difficult and debated. Were they cooked properly, too thin, taste of old burger grease from the grill or not? Were they too plain? Were they "right"? Overall the chicken and waffle/cake interpretation wasn't done as well as other places in Tulsa that offer it, and the chef should do some research. Also, to the end of the meal, that guy is still pacing around. Same path, 1 minute 30 second intervals. Pacing. If I were guessing, brunch at Society won't be a regular thing, or even an occasional thing, or even a twice a year thing. Will try them for their regular menu someday. read more

We used to frequent this location. However we took a break during pandemic and only ordered out from there trying to do our part to help keep them in business. I recently went inside to eat with two friends. There were 3 ladies at the bar enjoying life. No other customers anywhere. We were seated in the booths on the top level. Great spot for dinner. The host went to seat another group that arrived right after we did. He seated them then immediately went back to the bar with the bartender to visit and eat the fries she had just brought up. We sat and visited waiting. And waiting. The table seated after us received a server that looked at us and then walked up to the other table. Ok... She took their order and went on about her business. About that time I waved several times to get the hosts attention. When he finally looked over and I signed what gives? He looked into the kitchen area where the manager ( assuming he was but his attire was white tshirt with short sleeve button up over a pair of shorts so idk.. ) came out with another server and looked at us. The server and manager kept talking a minute then she came up to us. Once she started working with us she was great until the food came. She then was non existent until we were looking to tab out. The manager guy stood at the bar with the servers and host chatting and hanging out. The appetizer came out at 20 minutes after order. The meal came out at 30 minutes...(there were only 2 tables of customers in restaurant) The truffle fries were amazing! As always!!!! The fish and chips were very greasy. The hamburger ordered was missing a couple items but we were so hungry we couldn't wait to eat any longer- no servers in sight to ask.. Maybe this is just a Monday vibe but ...I will go back on another night sometime and see if there is any difference... read more

Delicious, amazing. Fresh ingredients and perfectly made. Milk shakes can be ordered boozy--yummy. Kids fav too.

Solid burger selection. The beer selection is great. They've remodeled the location and it's really nice. Some outdoor seating and they have misting fans to keep it cool. Service was great. read more

I love this place and their food tastes great, Though recently I've been paying $11 for hot "chicken bites" but I've been getting these little crispy fried breading pieces. I just wish they were more consistent with their portion sizes because its been a little offensive lately. read more

I have been here on 2 occasions. The food is so good but the service is severely lacking. The first visit I ordered an impossible burger and my sister ordered a classic, when they were brought to the table the waiter and the food runner were unsure of which was which and tried to convince me that they were "pretty sure" the burger that they handed me was impossible as the runner whispered "the ticket didn't say impossible burger." I didn't want to chance it so I sent it back. I watched as every one else ate, starving for about 15 minutes before my actual burger was brought to me. I visited for a second time today and same thing. There needs to be some sort of way to differentiate between the impossible and real burgers for the customers sake. read more

No pre made frozen patties here!! Burgers come out looking like the pics in the menu and tasting better than expected. On my first visit the staff was welcoming and friendly. Ordered the Theta and added bacon with jalapeño tater tots on the side. DELISH!! Husband tried a new stout beer and fell in love. Wasn't sure about my drink at first but oh did it hit me midway through my meal!! My husbands leg is broke so the long booth seats were perfect and if the rest of the fam was with us there'd be plenty of space. Thoroughly pleased and will be back!! read more

Well the service was good however... It was my first time to try this place. I wanted a good burger. I ordered the classic burger with fries. The fries were nothing special at all, very boring. From the pictures, I thought the burger would be a double burger, I am not sure if mine was or not. There was the thinnest burger Pattie on my hamburger. The bun however was Hugh. The burger also came with what I think was mayo on it. The mayo was strange, It was like white water. The worse part of it was the burger tasted like fish. It was all I could do to get through it. I only ate half the fries. Maybe their other items are good but my first experience was really bad. read more

Took my girls into Society for the first time last weekend. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere. The open patio allows us to enjoy the weather, and I enjoyed the TVs they had so I could watch the game as we were dining. Hoping this restaurant makes it in this location! read more

Food is good, terrible happy hour for this area in south Tulsa. BUT the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Floors are dirty, toilets need fixed, door to the actual room is full of who knows what, rugs need vacuumed. This place is not busy enough to not have a clean restroom. read more

the food is ok, but the recent trip's service was pretty terrible. to start, the tots taste like old frying oil--so maybe they're better when the oil is fresh? the burgers are pretty standard and the truffle fries were pretty bland. as far as the service, i always try to remember that the server may have just had a rough day--but it was pretty bad. three menus for 5 people, and after asking for some extra menus three times, she finally brought them. we had to ask for silverware. it was pretty obvious she didn't put the order in for the appetizer, since she wanted to confirm that we really wanted it about a minute before the entree came out. the app finally showed up about 5 minutes after the burgers. it's average. the only highlight is the selection of beers, including local options. tip: the patio is great when the weather is nice. read more

I had a blue cheese burger that was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Husband had the classic and he thought the same thing. We have to go back. So much on the menu we want to try. Service was great. I'd suggest putting a sign as you walk in saying seat yourself. Our first time there and we stood in front and no one came to tell us to sit wherever. Excellent Theta Burger. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich. We were really excited that we could bring our dog inside. Try even gave us a dog water bowl. The semi outside patio was awesome and you can even watch the game while there. read more

Absolutely recommend! Appetizers were the best of the best and the burgers were great! Waitress was so patient with my big family and didn't seemed bothered in the slightest about my kid's indecisiveness. We were able to be seated immediately and food didn't take too long. Two of us came in today and the young host said it would be about 5 minutes. We waited and watched him seat two other small parties before us before I finally spoke up. He very rudely said "I haven't seen you guys." We checked in with this guy. He saw us. Come on! We left and will never come back. My burger was all bun and had to pay extra for the fries, that were nothing special. For $13 I've had much better elsewhere. Whataburger rates much higher than this place imo. Service was inexperienced and had to keep asking for things like a napkin or a straw or ice for my cocktail was served a bit warm. Meh, won't be back to eat. read more

The ambiance & decor is 5 star so is COVID prep & compliance & I am a RN). The SHAKes, , burgers chicken sandwiches & Root beer floats are all 5 stars! The only reason I gave it it a 4 is I ordered fried mushrooms &they were very bad.. the batter was so hard it was difficult to break with my teeth, they were cold, but the & the restaurant was so busy I didn't want to wait fir more, so I did not mark the review down much, since I did not ask for anew batch. I wasn't that impressed. The burgers were good but not worth the price. They don't even come with fries. Fries are an extra $3+ so by the end of it you're paying $15+ for burger and fries for a mediocre burger ‍. I'd rather go to Red Robin who have EXCELLENT burgers and endless fries. read more
