My wife had a salad and egg salad sandwich, her sister had a Caesar salad and both said that they enjoyed their choice.I had a French dip sandwich, as recommended by our server who was friendly and made good recommendations, also keeping the refills on coffee coming regularly, which is appreciated. The French dip was very good, but the bread/baguette, was incredibly good! Really special! I really liked the coffee as well, apparently a local supplier,, although I forgot the name. Turns out that the night before we ate at McNellie's, which is a part of the restaurant chain that owns the diner. Our server at McNellie's was terrific and they knew her. We were seated promptly with a nice view of the door. We started our breakfast with coffee, which was strong and very good. I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! There is street parking around the diner. We went in on a busy Father's Day and luckily were able to get a spot at the counter as there was quite the line waiting for a table. Our service was great. Our waitress was friendly and quick to answer questions and get our orders. The space is big and open with lots of natural light. It doesn't give greasy diner vibes. The food was pretty good, lots of options on the menu. They had gluten free bread so I got the eggs Benedict on that. I enjoyed the hollandaise sauce and liked the way the potatoes were cooked. My husband and I went here for brunch recently. The place has the neatest atmosphere and the service was on point! Our waiter was so funny and friendly. Came to Tulsa for a wedding. Searched for a breakfast place and found this. Very cool atmosphere; located in an old building. We sat at the bar, staff were nice and prompt. Service was fast. Dilly was a stumbled upon gem! Stopped in for a bite while in between appointments. I forgot to take pictures but I have a feeling we will be back so ill get some next time. The food was horrific. The pancakes are not like the phots or anything for that matter. I don't know how you mess it up this bad.

It had been a while since we dined here. We had a table of four around 12:45. Ordered pretty promptly and waited on food for about 45 minutes. Some of our coffees were luke warm at best. I tried one of the frittatas and it was pretty bland. (It was the sausage mushroom one.) I ended up putting ketchup on it. (I know, that's a travesty.) Some of it was still a bit runny to top that off. And, it's a huge serving so if it had been stellar, I would have taken some home. Accompanying fruit was fantastic, though. Obviously, I love the feel and vibe and the breakfast menu (and the cocktails). Maybe I should have ordered a Bloody Mary, too. :) read more

So I came back for the second time and ordered nearly the same order for my first visit: three eggs, scrambled soft, bacon, a biscuit gravy, and this time I went with instead of a tomato. Sadly, just like my first time, the kitchen does not know how to cook eggs scrambled soft. The eggs again came out as rubber. She asked me if I'm one of the manager and I said sure whatever. The manager came and asked me and I told her I said listen this is the second time I've been here each time. I've ordered eggs scrambled soft and they can't get them right. At that very moment the guy who brought me my plate brought me a side of eggs and they were actually scrambled soft. Imagine that the kitchen can do it right. The ironic part is then the waitress didn't want to come back into only the manager came to serve me because .... I was mean to her, I guess. What is wrong with all of these young children not liking it when you point out something wrong to them. I came here to order the food and eat food that I want not what y'all want to serve me. I'm sorry if your kitchen sucks and doesn't know how to cook. If you can't deal with a customer pointing out how bad your kitchen is, maybe you should work somewhere else. It's cute, clean. The service was great. We had about 17 people and all of the food came out hot and at once. Good for large groups but call ahead The food was a solid B with some highlights. Some of the other reviews featured the Chicken. So, i got the chicken and waffles. Added Gravy and a Egg. The chicken was a highlight and served with some hot honey. A+. However, it never seems possible for a place to get both the chicken and waffle perfect. The waffle was a weak B. Did not seem right off iron. But I was here for work, so Coffee and orange juice were my go to's for the day. My server was very quick to take my order and help me. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which wasn't quite my fave. it came with a couple different syrups and a nice piece of chicken on top. The waffle was a bit too cheeky/thick for my taste. It was definitely not fluffy like I was hoping for. The chicken was quite good though. as a sidenote, this area seems to be navigating an uptick in the number of folks experiencing homelessness.
