The Nook is a really special place. In my opinion, places like Mirasol are extremely overrated…read morecompared to what The Nook offers. The drinks here are outstanding. The Painkiller is fantastic, especially if you add caramel. The Epic Vanilla Skooma is dangerously addictive - the flavor profile is incredible, and honestly nobody else in the area comes close. The Buzz is another excellent choice. The food is just as impressive. Their linguica and cheese rolls are leagues above the competition, and I'd put them alongside the very best around. I highly recommend ordering a regular cheese roll leveled up with egg, bacon, and their house-made hot sauce. If you enjoy a Portuguese style hot sauce, this combination is absolutely worth trying - you will not be disappointed. The peanut butter cookie is unreal; I genuinely wish I had the recipe. The baked goods are consistently excellent, and whenever they have a special, just order it. I've rarely been disappointed by anything they've made. I used to live nearby and honestly miss having this place around. Their pizzas deserve recognition too. They're some of my favorite bar style pizzas in the area. If you prefer an ultra thin pizza, you might lean toward Dipper Cafe, but it's hard to beat The Meatball Thing, the Thanksgiving pizza during the holidays, and many of their other specialty pies. The atmosphere adds even more to the experience. They have arcade style games you can play while you wait, and the music is always great. If you're into King Diamond or heavier music, you'll probably hear something you love. If you live nearby or are just passing through the area, don't skip The Nook. For me - and for everyone I've recommended it to - The Nook easily earns the title of best coffee shop in the area.

-ONE PARAGRAPH REVIEW-…read more The Nook has great coffee. The Nook has great food- not entrés but café stuff: sandwich rolls, focaccias, muffins, etc. The Nook has old school, retro vibes. It has rock music vibes. It has creative, inspirational vibes. It has quiet, read-a-book-in-the-nook vibes but also loud Donkey Kong-guitar riff-crunchin' vibes; depending on the time and the day. It's perhaps a tad too small inside, but that's what makes it a nook. Lots of hot and iced coffee options, food is quality over quantity: get their signature cheese or linguica roll as-is or "leveled up" to make it an egg sandwich because it's the best around. And their focaccias are made like a pizza and imo are better than their actual pizza! Ok that's a paragraph!

My daughters and I enjoyed our coffees and pastries while we planned our day on the Cape. I always recommend Snowy Owl to any friend visiting the Cape.

Delicious place to stop for coffee with cool merch and baked goods. Line does go out the door (love…read morea good line!) at least this was the case for a Saturday morning. Stopped by for some coffee and baked goods before heading out to the beach and absolutely loved it. It was a bit chaotic walking into salsa and then switching it to Backstreet Boys before I had my first sip of coffee, but I think after that, it all kind of became a blur haha. I ordered a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (all plant based milks are +$1) with a chocolate croissant. I'm a croissant lover and this one wasn't something I'd go home or on Yelp to rave about but it was still nice to enjoy it with my hot latte on this chillier summer morning. We also ordered the bean empanada (which is more egg forward than we expected) and a chocolate chip banana bread which was nice and thick and a bit in the sweeter side. It paused well with my hubby's unsweetened dirty matcha. Overall, great place to grab coffee. I was in love with my lavender latte. It had the perfect amount of espresso where it didn't wash down with the lavender. So I'd totally recommend stopping for coffee here. They also have a to go fridge where you can take salads/wraps and stuff with you. Perfect beach snack without having to do any work!

I'm not…read moresuper familiar with the area but came to support a friend who started a coffee book club and this ended up being the perfect place for it. First things first, the iced latte was exactly what I needed. As someone who runs on iced coffee year round, this one definitely hit the mark. I also tried a gluten free cookie that the owner personally recommended and it was delicious. Always appreciate when someone can point you in the right direction with gluten free options. The whole vibe of the cafe is cozy and welcoming with lots of cute places to sit, read and hang out for a while. Perfect for catching up with friends or opening a book and pretending you're in your "main character at a coffee shop" era. They also have smoothies, great snacks and a small selection of items from local artisans which makes it even more fun to browse while you're there. If I lived closer, this would absolutely be one of those spots I'd pop into regularly for a latte and a quiet moment. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Fairhaven area.

The shop is super big with lots of cozy seating to sit and relax and enjoy the day. It's such a unique shop and I love their decor and the vibe. I love that they also have items for sale by local small businesses and do small pop events too. They have monthly specials that are always yummy and I cannot explain how good their fall donuts are. I def have dreams about them. The staff is super sweet and I always love talking to them. I cannot stress enough how you should check out this spot. Who doesn't love a place that gives back to animals?
