Beautiful surroundings to enjoy a little escape from the ordinary. Today we stopped for some annuals for the garden but were once again lured to the cafe. We enjoyed a delicious French Chicken Salad Sandwich with an Ice scold Bottled Maine Root Beer, and the Feta Grilled Cheese on Toasted Sourdough sandwich with a bottled lemonade . While the wait can be a little long during peak hours, the wait is rewarded with made to order deliciousness. We finished our lunch by splitting an enormous "Cowboy Cookie". So good. Briggs is a delightful spot to spend a few minutes or hours in a garden like environment filled with gifts, plants, and gardening needs.

Stumbled across this gem of a place. Briggs is a large nursery with indoor and outdoor plant, garden items and home decor. The atmosphere was so relaxing despite it being busy. Staff did well with crowd and parking control. I even found an adorable plant holder for my air plants. The star of this place if the cafe. Located in the back of the nursery is a cafe with a variety of hot and cold drinks, bakery items, breakfast and lunch items. There were four of us, three ordered ice coffees and one specialized ice tea as well as two açaí bowls, a Sunrise BLT and a Garden Club Sandwich. The drinks were amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. This easily has become a favorite place. Between the relaxing atmosphere, fun greenery to explore, friendly staff and amazing food and drinks I highly recommend checking out Briggs Nursery and Cafe.

Such a great place for vibes and shopping! The cafe in the back is cozy and serves great food and drinks. I love when local places outsource baked goods or certain ingredients from other places. The doughnut and cinnamon roll were from Knead doughnuts and hit the spot. This is my second time visiting and I was so happy to see all the Christmas decorations! They had a cute Christmas village and train on display. They also had a lot of cute and unique ornaments for sale.

Came here today on a whim. SO stinking cute! They are a nursery (plants) with a cafe, they also have a playground and outdoor seating. Very wide selection of plants; aesthetic, edible, carnivorous. Also sell all your planting needs and necessities. The cafe has a good selection of coffees, smoothies, pastries, ice cream, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We will be back in the spring to enjoy some tasty treats along the flowers!

The nursery and shop itself is an experience with color and amazing finds. The cafe is connected and I found it cozy and enjoyed the feel of almost being in a greenhouse. Both my husband's latte and my iced coffee were perfectly prepared. The ice cream sandwich was a hit with our son- ice cream was homemade (mint chocolate chip)with a delicious chocolate/ caramel cookie (yum!). Both my husband and I had the blt on sourdough. Our daughter had the chicken salad in a croissant. All three sandwiches were tasty and the service was great even with the weekend crowd. Great to stop for a bite or following up at the cafe after visiting the nursery. It's a win-win!

Honestly one of the most beautiful places I've been in. Every little detail is gorgeous- come in and wander through aisles of garden accessories and beautiful gifts, step outside into the greenhouse areas, and then settle into the stunning cafe for lunch and coffee. Someone with an amazing eye for detail picked everything out, from the bouquets of hanging dried flowers in the cafe to the carefully curated children's books that are so amazingly illustrated that adults will want them for themselves. On top of that, the food and drinks are great! There's wonderful gluten free options and a creative seasonal menu (I had a strawberry cold foam topped matcha- to die for). This is the kind of place where you'll want to stay for hours!

Browse while you enjoy a delicious breakfast. You can't get better than that for a quick and quaint breakfast.

We were looking for a breakfast spot nearby, and the Yelp reviews were generally favorable for the Brigg's Café, so we stopped by to give it a try. It is a self seating, self serving café with seating both inside and out. It is located in the back of a beautiful garden center, and there are some tables set near their beautiful plants and flowers. We ordered two Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches on Croissants ($11.98 total). They were nicely prepared, hot and tasty. And they were ready quickly. One drawback for the café is a very limited menu. That aside, we liked it here and would be happy to return.

Surrounded by plants and warm wooden timbers made lunch a relaxing treat. The service was fast and efficient.

Stopped at the cafe during a trip to the nursery and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Iced Matcha and Iced Honey Latte. Both were very good! I also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and it was great. Grab a coffee to go while you're shopping around!

Pumpkin spice bar and hot coffee, about $7

Parking can be a challenge here but you should be able to find some available street parking. When you enter Havana Cafe it feels authentic. I've never been to Cuba so of course take that with a grain of salt but I love the way they decorated and the music that was playing. Even though the restaurant is small we did not have trouble getting a 2 person seat. There were a few "reserved" tables as well so next time I visit I'll probably call ahead just to be safe Our waiter was incredible. Friendly, attentive, and offered some helpful suggestions. He was all of these things without being too pushy and made sure we felt properly checked on. I definitely recommend him but I wish I grabbed a name. For food we ordered a cheese and chicken empanada. Our waiter also brought out cilantro and habanero sauces. The empanadas were both incredibly crispy and filled will. The chicken was tender and had an intense but pleasant flavor. However, I think I preferred the cheese empanada. The sauces were both excellent as well. Even though I'm not a fan of cilantro I still liked this sauce! For dinner I had the fried sirloin with congris and fried yuca. The sirloin was perfectly tender and fried well. The yuca was also perfectly crispy while the congris was cooked well and had an excellent garlic flavor. I would definitely order this again. Some pictures made me think the portions would be small but I was satisfied after finishing my dish. We skipped dessert even though I was heavily debating trying the flan (maybe next time). My partner told me this was one of his "new favorite restaurants" which is high praise. I can not recommend Cafe Havana enough!

It's a acquaint place probably only seats about 20 people. Sing a table you have the atmosphere of being in Cuba except that it was 25° and we're in New England so now to the food we got the fried pork belly the pork sandwich and the Cuban all were very nicely made good quality, quality quality of food. Excellent bread did they use each bite was very savory and felt like it was cooked by your mom. Definitely leave her in the area and you're looking for something different. It's a must check out..

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
