Disappointed. SoCo Heating & Cooling came highly recommended from two different family friends. I had them out this morning to do duct cleaning... I couldn't clean all my ducts (something I knew going in) because they can only clean ducts with openings greater than 4". But they hit my returns which is most important (interesting fact but the EPA is rather neutral if duct cleaning is even beneficial). The guys were nice enough just sen seemed like amateurs. Here's my issues: - After they left I found an old Q-tip in one of the vent openings. This makes me question how thorough the cleaning was let alone their attention to detail. - They left two return covers off. Granted they don't go on well but still... at least mention it. - I had a cracked tile under one of my vents. I knew this but they took the piece with them so now I can't glue it back. read more

I had a couple of issues with SOCO, but they contacted me in regard to the issues I had stated in the review and responded with a proactive solution. Donelle and Eric came out today to replace our old Furnace, Air Conditioner, and Compressor. So far, the new units appear to be working great! The installation was clean and looks to have been done perfectly! They explained what was to be done before they got started. As they went about the install, whenever I would ask, they told me what they were doing and how it all comes together. Upon completion, they showed me their work, what had been completed, and explained the new system. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could. Unfortunately, it only goes up to 5! read more

I had an appointment today, they cancelled because of a sick employee. I had set up an appointment a week ago and we agreed on a price. Now they want to charge me more because I'm moving and also noted how they're really busy and have to "fit me in" as if I were inconveniencing them. They're the one who canceled on me. 10 Jun 21- had our yearly air conditioner service done today instead of May because that was the soonest appointment we could get since they are a very busy company. Our service technicians were Chester and Gwen. I was happy to see a woman in the heating and cooling business. Both technicians wore their masks and covered their shoes when entering our house. For their yearly service of our unit they completely take apart the air conditioner which is part of their inspection. Both technicians were pleasant and friendly. We have a membership with this company which covers the cost of this inspection. They have also in previous years replaced our water heater and repaired our heater that needed a new valve. Recommend this company because their technicians are professionals and do a great job! read more

I can't recommend this company HIGHLY enough! It's so hard to know who to trust when you need your heating and air conditioning cleaned or checked. Well, I learned you can trust SOCO! I hired another company for a moving inspection on our furnace. Heat Depot came out and told me I needed an entirely new furnace. They gave me a quote of $3500 worth of repairs that needed to be done, but they recommended I really should pay them $4200 to replace it. I don't know anything about furnaces, but we hadn't had ANY problems with our furnace, so I decided to get a second opinion. Erich from SOCO came out and let us know that there is NOTHING wrong with our furnace. He did a tune-up, cleaning, and a maintenance agreement (for future owners) for $199, which I gladly paid. They provided me a quote for several miscellaneous house projects! The person showed up late! Then didn't even finish half of the work in 8 hours! Owner called said it would cost me more to have the job completed!!! So don't count on the quote!! They were expensive so I thought I would get what I paid for!! Not true he hung curtain rod above just above window but not far enough to have curtains cover the window!! Took him 3 times to get it right!!! While I appreciate your information this is absolutely the correct company I recently moved to Parker and found soho on TAC he sent a new guy and the new guy gave me the quote with all the updated request! SOCO installed our Daikin furnace and air conditioner two years ago. It has worked like a champ ever since. Today, however, we noticed that the unit was leaking water onto our basement floor. We called SOCO and within 30 minutes, Jacob was at our front door ready to troubleshoot and repair. Jacob was finished in about 20 minutes and explained the problem and what he did to fix it. I appreciate that he and SOCO were so prompt, courteous, and efficient in getting our problem resolved, all within an hour of our initial call. SoCo was not able to do a simple repair on my water heater. I called SoCo because the burner on the water heater they installed in August 2020 would not stay lit. I did some troubleshooting and told SoCo that I thought the problem was with the thermocouple. SoCo sent two people on consecutive days, both of whom ignored my suggestion to check the thermocouple. They told me that the burner seemed fine, that it had to be something else, and that it might cost $325/hour for them to figure it out, and they had no estimate of how long that would be. I kicked the second guy out after I caught him lying about the burner working on its own again. After he left, I pulled out the thermocouple and noticed the damage immediately - I've added a picture. A replacement was only $22 and I did the repair myself in less than 2 hours. It's been working fine for six days now. The employees that SoCo sent into my home probably would have fixed the water heater eventually, but it is abundantly clear that they were also looking for a pretext to overcharge me for doing work that is unnecessary or covered by warranty. I don't mind when people make mistakes, but SoCo sent two guys to my house to try and rip me off. I can't imagine I'm the only one. read more

Ben (the owner) came by our house recently to perform the diagnostics on our air conditioning unit and quickly identified the issue (super thorough). 1. About Soco Heating and Cooling. We had a new furnace put in our house that was built in 1972. It had been a rental and I'm sure quite a few people have lived here. The old furnace was on its way out. Soco put in the new furnace and humidifier. "D", the young man who arrived at 8:15 AM to put in our new furnace was great. This was an old furnace in a very cramped space. He worked tirelessly to install our new equipment. He maybe took a few five-minute breaks throughout the day and that's it. It was cold down there, but he kept working to get our new furnace installed. Other employees stopped by throughout the day to help with the big job, when they could. They all seem very supportive of each other and work as a team. My husband and I were very impressed. They worked until 8:15 PM to give us a warm home. "D" was here all day and would get into his truck every so often to order parts he needed and get warm. They are a group of people dedicated to doing the best job and giving the best service. I wish I knew the names of all the employees who came by to help when their jobs were done, but I thank you. Kyle, the supervisor, was also on-site at times to help and see that things ran smoothly. We called them out for a second opinion after another well rated company told us the heat exchanger was warped and cracked advising us that our furnace was unsafe and would cost almost $6,000 to replace. Mitch from SOCO came out the following day and the difference was night and day. he clearly knows his stuff and advised that our furnace was safe and did NOT need replacing. I typically wait to review a company until I've worked with them a few times so that I know if good or bad service was a fluke. I have now used SOCO 4 times over 2 years: a complete new HVAC install, cleaning out and installing a UV cleaning light on a unit, adding ducts for an addition, and repairing a boiler. I would no longer trust anyone else to work on any of our properties. Another company had always done the boiler work for the previous homeowner so I had that company come out. They quoted $550 and said a zone valve was broken. I had Ben come out to get a second opinion and he showed me that nothing was broken and a minor adjustment fixed the problem then he said he didn't feel comfortable charging for it. Their team is always prompt, professional and communicate well throughout the process. In fact it takes multiple experiences and now multiple years for me to write a review- because well, you know- a company leaves, looses interest in you, etc. Not SoCo heating and Cooling! They are amazing! Their customer service and willingness to go above and beyond what is "required" is amazing to me- even after all these years! They will not Up-sell you on things you don't need and Ben broke it down for me when it came to paying for an AC and the payback I would receive from model to model. A class act company with great morals and loyalty to their customers! Just had Phil, a tech over to service my ac/furnace for the season- which btw- I had forgotten about, until they called me about my free service- and he went above and beyond like They always do! If you have any reservations about this company, don't. Again, I don't post anything for at least a year, if at all, and it has been 2 years since I started working with SoCo for a complete Ac/furnace install as well as a water heater about a year ago. read more
