When Lori Murray invited us to today's Pollinator Census Party, my friend and I (Kathy & Kitty) were excited to come back. What a lovely and fun experience it was! Lori was well prepared. She explained the pollinator-counting process perfectly and guided us through our 15-minute observation period. She was continually available to answer questions and even offered to help us submit our results. Lori had her adorable air-conditioned "She Shed" set up with delicious Italian and turkey sandwiches, cookies, candy and the most delicious green tea with honey! Her plants are absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced. My friend bought 4 plants during our first trip. My husband and I plan to return on Tuesday to work with Lori on creating a beautiful full-sun arrangement for a 20 inch pot we have in our backyard (hopefully with a tall "thriller" in the center and beautiful Purple and Fuscia Penta fillers around it that will attract the butterflies and bees like the ones we counted today. I'm looking forward to getting Lori's advice because she clearly knows her plants! Employees at the front desk very professional and very knowledgeable about all the plants mulch and other items that the nursery sells. After a few moments I had the top soil was purchased I was out to have it loaded. One thing I mostly like is everybody has a radio to stay contact with the front office to help customers. The office had already radio the loader. To load my 2 yards of topsoil. The loaders are well-trained and know what they're doing with loading mulch rock and topsoil. Out of the several times that I have had things loaded onto my trailer. There has been a accident.
