This was my first time at Soda Box and I really enjoyed it definitely recommend! I would suggest that the service was okay but maybe higher kids that are older than high school or like freshmen in college! The worker at the front was just sitting on her phone when there was a line of people waiting outside. I did enjoy the ambiance of the place

Lots of strong feelings here about Sodabox. I think Sodabox is an interesting concept and certainly it has Raleigh keeping up with the trends. I know a lot of folks complain about the interior, but when we went it was "drive-thru" only. You just stopped at the front door and the employees came out. The menu was definitely overwhelming but I went off menu with a recommendation. I got diet dr pepper, with fresh line, and coconut cream. It was tasty! My son loved their adorable kids lemonade. Would I come here all the time, no. But I'd certainly drive-thru for a treat every now and again. The employees were also friendly and efficient!

We stopped at this fun spot for a sample of dirty soda. The drink was called Pretty & Pink and had a mix of red fruits and Sprite. The price was reasonable and the drive thru was convenient. Very friendly service- we will visit again next time we need a sweet treat.

Our go to spot for fun drinks! we always bring friends here from out of town. I love the variety of drink choices and the ability to customize. Plus the staff are always so nice and helpful to create the drink you want!

Great opening day! Not only were the new employees well-trained, they were excited, efficient, and helpful. I ordered a Strawberry Refresher and Tastes Like Sunshine~both were chockful of fruit and tasted great! Welcome to the corner of Millbrook/Six Forks! Definitely returning for more flavors!

How excited am I to have a craft beer store in Clayton? Overly, most people would say. Is it hard…read moreto find? It is if you're using GPS. (Check the note at the end for more details.) Does it have refrigerated beer? I'm sooooo happy. What about one with actual drafts that I would like to drink on tap? Even better. The downfall of most craft beer shops is that they just overload everything with what is on trend. I don't know what happened with IPAs, but all of a sudden they pimped IPAs everywhere. Even worse is the "balanced IPA". If the hops don't rip your tongue off, it's not an IPA. But I digress... Clayton Beverage Company has a really balanced selection of beers: Fruit, sour, IPA, lagers, specialty beers, whatever. I am happy to inform Allison that the Belgian selection has improved somewhat. A Kasteel Rouge for $5.99 an 11.5 oz. bottle is a bit much for my taste, but it's there. Where the Belgian Selection (or belgian style) selections really get going are in my pet category: Sours. And there are plenty to choose from. I walked out with a nice, cold bottle of Petrus Aged Pale and another sour that I'm not yet familiar with. Glassware is here, as well. Pints, snifters, any glassware that you care to take home is available at reasonable prices. Now to the pints on draft: I'd seen a Peanut Butter Stout on tap. And I tried it, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, it's a keg only offering. Yet another thing I appreciate: Someone ordering a beer that isn't available via any other means. I should have asked for a growler. Maybe I still will. Prices are higher than they might be at a larger store, but well within reason considering that you don't have to drive to Raleigh or Durham for a better than average beer. WIth supermarkets shrinking their craft beer selections chain-wide, the bottle shop becomes a more viable and better alternative. I'll be back, thankful that I don't have to drive 15 minutes out of the way to get something decent to drink. Excellent selection and a great addition to Clayton as a community. 5* Notes: This is in the Bank of America section of Clayton Corners. GPS will keep you in a loop, coming in and going back out onto the highway. Go to Bank of America, take a right, and keep going till you reach the end. It's across from the building that holds the Tax Preparation Services.

This place recently went to a full-size bar as well, so the offerings are numerous and varied. This is a hidden gem of a place right in the heart of downtown Clayton.

They had a pretty good selection of beers and ciders. They even had a CBD infused drink (non alcoholic) that I thought was pretty cool. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars was due to them not having kombucha. I'm usually seeing these types of beer shoppes carry more non alcoholic beverages for those who rather eat their calories than drink them. (me!) They have then just beer, however. They also have a good board game selection and I saw that they have events during the week such as open mic night, comedy improv, and even yoga!

After speaking with the manager, he proceeded to brag about how much money he makes which was wild because I dont understand how the topic was relevant. I decided to leave, and as he was doing so, on our way out the bouncers were trying to provoke him to fight them. I was in the bar for maybe three minutes, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a bar. Hoping to find a better Eagles bar soon, because I need one down here. I truly don't understand how people support this business and an air head who walks around flaunting his wealth.
