I randomly walked in while sectional shopping and immediately found the one I was looking for in the store. The staff were super kind and patient while I decided on some other accessories like a rug and a chair. She was super helpful in explaining everything, and we left with a specific couch design that we wanted. But what convinced me to write this review wasn't just the selection and prices, but the service. The owner showed a whole lot of patience with us! We moved into a new house that is a completely different style from my old house. I knew I wanted a large walnut dining table and looked online but never saw quite what I wanted. Working with Bijan I was able to custom design the exact table that I wanted and Sofa Design made it to order. It is absolutely beautiful. I also needed chairs but wasn't sure what kind of chair would look best. When the table was delivered, Bijan put a sample chair on the delivery truck so I could see what it all looked like together in my dining room. It was beautiful. I ordered 8 chairs on Monday at 4pm, and the chairs were delivered Tuesday afternoon. Great service. I am now working with Bijan to design custom bookcases to coordinate with my dining table. Love my living room Sofa and chair I had made and my custom bed!! I chose the fabrics I wanted and the style I liked and it was all ready and delivered in 6 weeks. So many cool options I was able to add including great hidden storage compartments which are very useful as additional storage in my apartment. Had my sofa and bed made a year ago and just went back last week to have a sofa bed made for he office when I have guests. Having a great style made similar to the expensive restoration hardware version I love and in my fabric color and choice. Excited to see it when it comes in a few weeks. So far very happy with all my stuff and love that I can customize anything to the specs i like. I'll re-post when the sofa bed comes with an update. Extremely disappointed with this store and owner. The worst experience EVER buying furniture. After 7 weeks passed by we were told they would deliver the custom furniture and when it arrived it looked nothing like what we had discussed and purchased. The nightstands were the wrong color, with wrong hardware, and missing a particular design element. We did not accept the delivery and when we called to tell the owner all he could say was that's not what it says on the invoice. He also nearly demanded payment IN FULL the day before the delivery. After another 3 weeks passed by they were going to deliver the furniture again, but when we asked for a picture it was STILL not what we asked for. Then we were told if we want it to look like what we stated in the beginning we would have to pay more on top of the expensive price we had paid. At the end of the day this owner does not care at all about customer satisfaction, is a liar and only cares about his money. We will NEVER shop here again. read more
