I was afraid we would be a high maintenance couple since we had specific things in mind for how to craft our ceremony. To my surprise - she makes every ceremony very tailored to each couple. She told our story of how we met and fell in love, what it meant to have our families travel long distances and meet for the first time, and introduced each of us before we read our personally-written vows. The ceremony was sentimental and touching, yet at times got a few great laughs from our guests - without being even a bit cheesy or even too casual. Venus got to know us as a couple both over the phone and on skype since my schedule didn't really allow for us to meet in person. She asked us really great questions, and even had us answer a few questions separately, so that she could see what marriage meant to each of us individually. By asking us to each write down the answers to a few questions she posed to us, she was able to edit together our own words, making is really seem like the ceremony was truly genuine to US as a couple. I don't think there was one guest at our wedding who did not comment on how touching the ceremony was. Most everyone said it was by far the BEST wedding ceremony they had ever attended. They also wanted to know how we knew Venus - because it seemed like Venus was a friend who knew us for years - not just a few weeks! I imagine if you want a quick and easy, standard wedding ceremony, she'd be great too. She has tons of sample readings that other couples have used for you to look through for inspiration. We basically told her that we didn't want it to be too serious, or long and that we wanted our family and friends to FEEL the love in the room.
