Big crack in door to shower
    Yula K.

I'm stuck somewhere between 3 and 4 stars -- I enjoyed my first visit to both the infrared sauna and the cold plunge, but not sure this is a place I would visit regularly. The private sauna was nice and cozy with built in speakers to listen to music or watch tv. You pay for a full hour but they seem to be pretty strict about stopping you after 45 minutes. That was more than enough time for me, but I do not know why they advertise a full hour then. I'm glad I tried the cold plunge but mostly because I felt like I needed to shower. This didn't necessarily feel like the cleanest place, unfortunately. There were plenty of people coming in and out and I don't believe any of the rooms were cleaned while I was there. I know somebody used the cold plunge after I did which seems unsanitary. Also the floors were all very wet which insinuates people were in the cold plunge before me, and there isn't much space to get changed into dry clothes afterwards. There are signs that say "get naked" but I would certainly advise wearing a bathing suit! Besides the sauna rooms, it unfortunately doesn't feel very private here either. You need to go through the lone hallway to get from the sauna to the cold plunge, which is a straight shot out through the front door and onto the street. I don't necessarily want all of Santa Monica Blvd to see me in a towel for free, though the people should be so lucky to! Also there's a massive crack in the door that leads to the shower and cold plunge room. Like you can probably see the person in the shower from the hallway if you look through the crack, it was very noticeable and a little concerning

I found this spot via ClassPass and had a great experience! My friend and I went for a group sauna and loved our experience. The staff was flexible about is changing our time the day of, which was awesome. The group sauna experience was great! We had a large room to ourselves with a large sauna that held us both easily. We loved that they had a tv setup that we could use watch with Netflix too. It was also nice to have the room for when we needed breaks! We ended up showering after and the shower area was nice. They have wonderful soaps and a vitamin c infused shower head. Also got additional complimentary towels for this! Great vibes, great space, and helpful staff!

Beautiful space! It's been a while since I've done a cold plunge and found this beautiful place via ClassPass. Carly helped answer some questions on the phone and was sweet and super patient. I ended up doing the infrared first. I found street parking a block away, wasn't bad at all. I noticed ppl in line out the door for a place called Mamie, asked Carly about it, she recommended it. Separate review lol. Infrared first. Room is beautiful. Love the setup with the tvs, felt super peaceful and was very relaxing. Carly showed me my cold plunge room on our walk down the hall. It was close enough that I felt comfortable darting across the hall in my bikini and a little towel. Cold plunge space is beautiful, and it's the equivalent of a sit down bath tub. The showers in the room and stocked with Ursa Major which are great products. It's also a vitamin c shower which is super dope! Idk if it was the infrared first or just changes in my body but I wasn't able to plunge like normal when I went, and that's ok I meet my body where it is. It's still a lovely space that I will visit again. I will tell you that if you're going to hit Mamie after, order before you leave! Great spot, all the amenities and ofc I love the name!

I love coming to this homey sanctuary. The staff is so kind and friendly. Beau is the absolute best! He is the face of this establishment and runs it perfectly. While in the infrared sauna you can watch some Netflix or meditate while you detox, relieve pain, improve circulation, rejuvenate your skin and burn some calories! This session is 45 minute increments. After the infrared sauna, enjoy the the physical benefits of cold plunging. Experts say cold water immersion can decrease inflammation, offer a huge rush of endorphins, spike dopamine, improve sleep and mood, reduce stress, help remedy aches and pains, boost injury recovery, reduce swelling, potentially increase testosterone, promote lymphatic drainage, regulate hormones and accelerate metabolism. This session is 20 minutes. After leaving here you will feel revived and ready to take on the world! You must add this place to your weekly routine and it will change your life!

3.5/5 stars. This was my first time trying LIV, but not my first time doing infrared sauna. So my review is mixed. For starters the male at the front desk was nice + accommodating all day from when I called in until when I arrived for my session. My room suite was a nice size, and had the tv as well. Pros: I did like the the sauna was a smaller one because I feel like I got the full benefits and really got to sweat and detox. So after the 45 minutes I was feeling refreshed. Cons:My Netflix remote was damaged, and the inside of my sauna had a weird like pee smell which bothered me a bit during my session. I could hear people yelling (maybe talking loud) in the hallway during my session. There's only 1 shower, and it's located in the plunge room. Therefore unless you book the plunge room or no one else is in it you have access to the shower. So I would definitely recommend you calling ahead to check availability. I'm sure it's a popular locals place, and it's good for th Benifits and what you need. But not for me because I couldn't get with the smell. In all - I still recommend the experience.

Lovely space! Clean and great hours. Highly recommend for cold plunge & sauna. Easy metered parking all around.

Came here to try out the facilities and it was a pretty cool experience. You can choose between the suana or the plunge baths. The space was super clean and loved the serene feeling. I chose to do the suana and love how there was a TV inside to watch Netflix. Very cool experience. I only wish I had known you can only use shower if you reserved it after your session. Unfortunately it was booked after mine, so I had to wait till I got home to do that. But overall, I had a good experience.

Love this spot! All the employees are friendly and have great energy. The unlimited infrared sauna and cold plunge membership is definitely worth the price. They have speakers inside the sauna so you can meditate and zen out while you sweat‍ The cold plunge takes some getting used to but your body will thank you for it later.

I wanted to try something new in West Hollywood area so I decided give a shot to LIV, the experience overall is great, The rooms are pretty spacious are private..there is a tv and Apple Remote to watch stuff while in the sauna, the guy in the front is friendly and easy going...the only cons I would say is the parking situation as there is only street parking and a few reserved spots in the back, but overall I enjoyed my experience and will probably come back! Cheers

Are there towels? Showers for after sweat sessions?

There are 2 towels per room but no shower for the sauna boxes. They have a shower but it's solely reserved for the cold plunge and they are in a separate room together for that purpose only.

How much is a cold plunge session?

    Cold plunge session is $29

The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. I should have written this back in 2023 when I first discovered Century, but here I am a year later…read moreand Yelp probably has me flagged as the guy who never leaves this spa. Century Day and Night Spa has turned into my favorite spot in Los Angeles because it really has everything under one roof. The amenities are the biggest draw for me. The hot jacuzzi, cold plunge, steam room, and sauna are all kept at such a high standard that I use them in rotation for ten to fifteen minutes each. By the time I finish a full round my body feels completely reset. Add in a nap room and a quiet communal space and you can easily turn what starts as a quick visit into a half day escape. The basement level has a gym that feels like a time capsule from the 90s or early 2000s. The machines are older but still get the job done, and there is a sense of nostalgia working out on equipment you don't see much anymore. That level also has a lap pool, which adds even more variety to the visit. Between the pool, the spa, and the gym, it really is possible to spend an entire day here without running out of things to do. The restaurant upstairs finishes off the experience. The food is on the pricier side and I would describe it as average good rather than amazing, but after hours of sweating and detoxing, it really hits the spot. I usually come here at least once a month, and on lucky weeks I'll get in a weekly visit, so the food has become part of my routine. The outdoor patio is also a nice touch when you want to step outside and take a breather. The restaurant could use a little more attention to cleaning. On one visit I was the only guest and it was more noticeable, but even then the meal felt like the right way to end the day. The only part of Century that has been inconsistent for me is the front desk. Two staff members, Tina and Grace, have not always been the most welcoming. A couple of times they even questioned whether I had passes when I did, and it felt less warm compared to how I saw other guests greeted. I almost lowered my rating because of this, but then I spoke with Edward and everything changed. Edward is calm, professional, and genuinely caring. He listened to my concerns, addressed them with respect, and made me feel like a valued regular. He is a big reason why I keep coming back because he sets the tone for what hospitality should be. Another standout is Ivonne, who usually works evenings. She is one of the kindest and most welcoming staff members I have ever met. She greets me in Spanish, always makes me feel comfortable, and even showed me how to use the spa app. That app completely changed the check-in process for me because now I just scan a QR code and walk in. No more touchpad issues or confusion about passes. Ivonne truly makes a difference and I appreciate her every single time. Domingo in janitorial and Ming in the kitchen also deserve recognition. They are both incredibly friendly and always take the time to say hello and check in on guests. Those small interactions make the spa feel less like a business and more like a community. For anyone new to Korean spas, be prepared for the fact that the water areas are nude. It might feel intimidating at first, but once you relax into it, it feels completely normal. I usually come alone, but I have also brought my mom and sister. We split into the same-sex sections for the spa and then meet in the co-ed areas upstairs to eat together. It makes the experience easy to share. There is even a golf range here, although I have not tried it yet. What makes Century stand out is not just the size of the facility but the combination of amenities, the three story layout, and the sense of community among regulars. It is not perfect and could use more upkeep in certain areas, but nowhere else in Los Angeles matches the variety and the value. I drive thirty to forty five minutes from the San Gabriel Valley just to come here and I have bought the ten day pass more than three times because it is worth it every time. I always leave feeling lighter, refreshed, and fully recharged. If you are coming for the first time, download the app, give yourself enough time to enjoy every amenity, and don't let a quick check-in moment throw you off. Try the mist sauna, the cold plunge, the nap room, a meal upstairs, and repeat. One last thing I appreciate is how seriously they take phone usage. It makes me feel safe knowing no one is sneaking photos in the wet areas. Phones are fine in the gym or common areas, allowed only minimally in the locker room, and completely banned once you are nude in the spa. At first it felt strange not to have my phone with me, but now I love it because it makes the space feel even more secure and relaxing.
