The food was very good, the desserts and service were exceptional. The pita bread is excellent. The mains were tasty with a lot of Mediterranean flavors and essence, but it's also got a touch of fusion (so not the best and most authentic Mediterranean meal I've ever had, but still good and flavorful). Has a more serious, adult vibe but it's still works for kids. It's right near the pools with open air seating. If you're staying at the hotel it's a great option. The pita, desserts and service cannot be beat! read more

Excellent place to grab a bite to eat while sitting poolside at the Ritz Carlton in Naples. All of the food and the drinks were very good and we would come here again easily. Service came straight away with water and also some suggestions for lunch. They came often to fill a glass and clear a plate. While we only ordered munchies to stave off our hunger before our dinner, all of the food options were fresh and delicious. It has very relaxing atmosphere while sitting poolside and very beach like in theme. The open concept made for a relaxing meal with a breeze that keptthings vacation like. read more

Will return. Love their decor - the bamboo lattice ceiling is unique, in concert with the chairs and the rest of restaurant. The double (?) shutters are up, since it's not too hot. AC and fans work at leisurely pace. Water glasses are glass but wine is in plastic. They have lovely earthy bread plates (Fortessa) but serving in investment, melamine Creations - understandable it's next to the family pool. But why not everything in plastics? My next crop of tableware would be melamine. The family pool gate, every time someone going through (hotel guests and restaurant servers), it closes with a loud crack, in a quiet atmosphere. The Bombacio linen napkins is great; would be perfect with Sixty Vines - I'm silly and may seem picayune but really wishing the best for the restaurants that I enjoy. We've - Hummus: thick than the usual supermarket brand; the fried or baked chick peas perks up wonderfully; veggie sticks are crunchy and fresh. - Tuna wrap - the side onion ring with scallion and parm garnish is wonderful - Freekah salad - fresh and refreshing Portions are large but all are delicious: thank you. The bathroom sink's drainer is rustic: I didn't expect to see this at a Ritz-Carlton. Are the soap dispensers stopped working - hand soap bottles are on the counter. read more

My friend and I made a reservation for a Saturday night and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Despite it being very busy, the service was timely and all waiters and staff were very professional. Marcel was a phenomenal server! Every time he brought out a plate, he informed us about key components in the dish. Chef Etrugrul Filiz came out to greet us and he explained how he used his Turkish background and experience cooking to develop a wonderful menu with all items cooked fresh, in house. He is very passionate about what he does and gave us a story behind each dish, dessert, and even the cocktails we chose. Every bite was to die for! This by far has made it to my top 3 restaurants I've ever visited and I am going to make a trip from Miami back to Naples within the next few weeks to experience some other items on the menu. I had the most amazing birthday celebration at Sofra Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. Chef Ertugrul is truly outstanding. He is young, talented, and creates unbelievably delicious dishes. Every plate was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can truly feel his passion and dedication in every bite. The appetizers were fantastic -- especially the artichoke and the hummus, which were both absolutely delicious. The lamb shank (incik) was legendary -- simply unforgettable! And the desserts... especially the rise pudding -- it was beyond amazing. Everything was incredibly fresh and clearly made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. Sofra in the ritz Naples is outstanding! The food is genuinely amazing. I got the hummus with crispy onions and big puffy pita bread, vegetarian dumplings, fried potatoes and a chicken skewer. Four out of four, would order again. Intricate flavors. Good temperature. Excellent presentation. The staff was super friendly and helpful and accommodated allergies and food requirements with ease. We went to sofra twice and the food was still amazing, from appetizer,entree and desserts. The food was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef and his team. The service was outstanding from being welcomed by the hostess/host to being seated and served. The restaurant manager is doing a fantastic job with his team. We score Sofra 2 on service; 5 on food. Overall score 3-1/2. We had dinner at Sofra on Saturday night of the holiday weekend. In fairness, the hotel was busy, and lots of tables were seated at Sofra. That said, by an hour and 15 min after being seated (now 8:15PM), they'd only managed to feed us our appetizer course. While we like when service isn't rushed, this was far beyond not rushed. It felt like we were forgotten. We sat with our appetizer plates in front of us for at least 45 minutes. Finally, a manager stopped by our table to ask how dinner was. Our response was very, very slow. Thankfully, he was able to undo whatever bottleneck (or forgetfulness?) was happening in the kitchen. Within half an hour, we'd had both main course and dessert. The food was very good. Excellent pita, hummus, both of us were happy with main dishes. (Though spouse's beef tasted heavy and greasy in my opinion, which it is likely meant to be as it is cooked with plenty of lamb fat). We had rice pudding dessert; creamy and comforting. read more

Incredible!! Food was outstanding and the staff (especially the manager) was fantastic and so kind. We were there with our 2 year old and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We got the lamb chops and the braised lamb and they were both 10/10. The dumplings and octopus were perfectly flavorful. The chicken skewer was also delicious. We ended with the deconstructed baklava which was also amazing. Cannot say enough good things. Definitely not what I think of as a hotel restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

BEWARE!!! Be careful with this restaurant. They almost killed my nephew who clearly told them that he had a sesame allergy and an ambulance had to be called and they even told the rescue they did not give him sesame. They delayed his belief he was having an allergic reaction and even delayed medical treatment by not admitting to the rescue personnel what they had given him. To top it off, they charged the full bill. The next day after spending most of the night at the hospital, the restaurant admitted they had put sesame in the food. Too little too late! read more

WOW. We had an incredible meal. The flavors were amazing the attention to detail was very impressive. The service was amazing. We order the hummus and veggie dumplings for an app they were so good! The za'atar and olive oil dipping sauce was delish. The vegan couscous was so flavorful and fresh! The potatoes were SO crispy but also fluffy on the inside and the flavor profile was great. I would rank these as some of the top potatoes I've ever had. My husband got the lamb and beef dish and really enjoyed it! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, tourist or local. Not what I was expecting from a Ritz-Carlton at all, and had I known I picked a pool-side restaurant with a tv blaring at one end and a riotous gaggle of 13 women celebrating a birthday, I would have booked elsewhere. It was extremely loud and I was anxious to leave. $360 for 4 people to eat there, for a meal worth half that. Service was okay for a busy night. Sofra might just be my new favorite restaurant. We had the most amazing experience with a special thanks to our wonderful waitress, Savval. She was so kind and treated us very well. The ambiance was beautiful as well. The food here is so flavorful and you're bound to try something you've never had before. The dishes were robust and complex offering many new experiences for my taste buds. I'm quite a foodie too. We got the Muhammara dip, Atom and artichokes to start. The dip was my personal favorite.
