The entire table ordered grilled fish, and the Greek potatoes, which were well seasoned and delicious. The drink and wine selection was adequate, and pricey. A lower corkage fee for those wanting to bring in a bottle would be appreciated. The restaurant is beautiful and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Love the ambiance of this Upscale Mediterranean restaurant. It was a weekday and raining out but the place was very crowded, and had high energy. Service was excellent, with the manager coming around to the tables and asking if everyone was enjoying themselves. It was my birthday and was given a wonderful table on the outside patio overlooking the fountain. Even though it was still drizzling, we stayed dry. We started with the 3 spread appetizer. It was very good, and appreciated that they included both veggies and naan. For our main entrees, we chose whole fish Mediterranean Sea bass. You get to pick your own fish, so you can decide how big of a fish you want. In addition, we added the filet skewers. The grilled whole fish lived up to the reputation of many of the previous reviews. Excellent. Unfortunately the filet skewers were over cooked. We ordered medium rare. It came well done. Even though my husband ate almost 1/4 of the kebobs, when I told the waitress it was over cooked she brought the skewers back to the kitchen. She also expedited the re-order and my husband got a medium rare kebob. Delicious, and loved the sauce that it came with. Important to note that the whole fish entree did NOT come with any sides. Since the kitchen was so busy, the waitress was honest and said if I ordered a side after just we received our entrees, we wouldn't get it back before we finished with the fish. So we skipped it. In future, it would have been nice to know that we should ordered sides in addition to the entree. We shared a napoleon dessert and coffee at the end. Overall had a wonderful dinner. An absolute favorite in Naples when we come to visit or snowbird parents! We love to sit in the outdoor area which is completely covered and a wonderful temperature with a slight breeze. The complimentary bread and hummus is divine. The zucchini chips are incredibly tasty. The Greek salad not pictured is another necessity. However, the octopus was the star starter. I will get it every time now! For entrees the Dover sole is one of the best and most flavorful fish we can get here. The lobster linguine was also fantastic! Service is friendly and prompt! First time here. Last time was when it was Bokampers. We dropped in to eat at 4pm for an impromptu dinner during season. We were dressed in extremely causal attire. Definitely underdressed! Estia was completely full with reservations. We could not sit at the bar since we had our 9yo son with us. The manager was gracious to give us a table for 1.20 hrs until the reservation which was perfect for us. (We were there exactly 1.20hrs car to car) Jessie was our server. Excellent service! She took our son to show him all the fish on ice. Jessie called him by name which I thought was a nice touch. Food was great! Drinks were okay. Service was phenomenal! I love the ambience at Estia and their freshly made Greek foods utilizes high-quality ingredients which makes their salads favor-packed and made with such care. Even the most simple hummus (served with grilled bread) or tomato salad (huge chunk of feta sprinkled with herbs) or beet salads (both red and golden beets that are sweet and perfectly dressed) are so delicious. We ordered grilled whole fish, lamb shank, grilled beef kebabs, salmon and a giant african shrimp. Every dish was cooked to the right temperature. The dubai sundae was a tower of pistachio and icecream with drizzles of chocolate - so good. The baklava was also very fresh. Estia has it all... beautiful atmosphere, experienced servers, and delicious food. We sat at the bar and had dinner. Our bartender was really great, both with her knowledge of the drinks and the food. When I spilled part of my dining partner's martini, he quickly topped it off. I had the Faroe island salmon which was cooked perfectly and had a light, flavorful sauce made with capers and lemon. It wasn't the typical heavy creamy oily sauce many restaurants use. This is my third time dining at Estia, and each visit has been great. The ambiance is beautiful, they did an incredible job with the décor. Food: The first time I came, I had the prix fixe menu. I've ordered the octopus appetizer three times and it's served with red and white onions, hummus, and bell pepper 4/5 I've had two different fish entrées: one was a special (can't remember the name) that I'd rate 4.5/5, and the Dover sole filet, which was very good 4/5 The highlight of all my visits was when I brought my dad for his 70th birthday. We both ordered the lamb chops, and they completely blew me away. I can't remember the last time I ate so slowly because I didn't want it to end. Perfectly cooked (medium), juicy, and flavorful, even the small amount of fat was delicious, which is saying something for me 10/5 They're served with crispy fried potatoes and a side of tzatziki. Bread & Service: Each time, I've probably had four refills of their bread, the baguette is small but excellent, and the complimentary hummus is a perfect touch 5/5 The only reason I'm not giving Estia a full 5 stars is that I've had to ask for drink refills on multiple visits. Other than that, the service is friendly and attentive. They surprised my dad with kourabiedes (Greek cookies) for his birthday, which was a really nice touch. My friends had invited me to this new restaurant that I heard is excellent but prices our high. That's fine. I was so excited, because I don't go out to a nice restaurant's often anymore. Only budgeted and a treat to myself. Got to the bar where my friends were. Bartender was "short" "rude" "rushed". When i tried to order. I ordered Tuna with Kale/collards greens (some type of greens in that family) in the center of plate surround by slices of Tuna. The overall taste was mediocre. With some type of small droplet of light green paste on top of the greens. The Tuna and Greens were cook perfectly thou. Happy Hour appetizers good. The Roman salad is absolutely delicious. When it was time to get my bill. I was "blindside" with the 18% automatically billed. How in the world would you dictate to somebody how to spend there hard working money. No communication letting us know of the pre-added gratuity. Which allows servers to act anyway they want when they know they are already getting 18%. If there were signs I didn't see them. Plus the bartender was rude. If she was polite not rude she might have gotten more than 18% plus no taxes on tips. And in my opinion I would have had left less because she was rude. That is my choice my money. I won't be going back there. because of the auto gratuity. not the food. read more

I felt that the service was very good. They did not remove plates from the table while others were still eating. The staff filled the water glasses without asking. My one complaint would be that with a table of 6 and the height of the room, it was hard to hear what the waitress was saying when she was on the other side of the table. We could hear out table partners. Part of that could be where we were sitting. For tables of 4 this was not a problem. Depending on the dish, some of the costs could appear high but overall the quality and quantity, I believe brought it to a reasonable price for a high end meal. The spanakopedia was excellent and served a bit differently than we have had it in the past. It was excellent. I enjoyed the lamb shank although the tomato sauce was a bit heavy on the dish but the flavors worked well. The crab cake that my wife had was very good also. I had the Napoleon for dessert. It was a little different than others than I have had. It had a flaky hard crust. The fruit and cream make it very tasty. One of our table mates ordered the lobster pasta. After we just got our drinks, the waiter said that it would take 40 mins to get our dinner. It did not. We got our dinner so quickly. Other people have been here for longer than we have and the waiter rushed us to order our dinner. I hate to be rushed in a restaurant where other people in the restaurant have been there for two hours. We ordered a salad and then he wanted us to order our entree. I almost threw up in my mouth after the salad came because then the entree came afterwards. I needed more time after the salad. That's why I am giving this place a three star rating. read more

This place was great on every level. The food is fresh and delicious with generous portions. We had pita chips--sliced so thin and lightly bartered--delicious. The Greek salad. Simple and also delicious. Crab cakes were crab not a bunch of bread crumbs. By the time I got the lamb shank I was full, but ate some because it fell off the bone. In retrospect, our party of four could have ordered appetizers and salads and been satisfied. Staff was friendly and attentive .The atmosphere is high end, warm, great lighting. Indoor/outdoor seating but connected, i.e., no walls. So very busy but does not feel crowded at all. We went here for a nice meal at the end of our vacation. We had dinner here this weekend for Mother's Day, and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had in a while. By 7:00 PM the place was absolutely packed, extremely crowded, chaotic, unbearably noisy, and far more reminiscent of a nightclub than a restaurant. We were a party of four, yet the tables were placed so close together that there was virtually no sense of privacy or comfort. As soon as we were seated, the floor manager stood directly beside my chair carrying on an excessively loud conversation with another gentleman for well over 10 minutes. They were practically yelling into each other's faces and into my ear at the same time. What was most surprising was the complete lack of awareness or consideration from the manager, who never seemed to realize how intrusive and inappropriate this was for guests trying to enjoy dinner. The manager's suit looked oversized, with both the jacket and pants fitting awkwardly, which somehow reflected the overall lack of attention to detail throughout the evening. Lighting at the table was another issue. They brought only a single tiny table light, making it nearly impossible to read the menu. We ultimately had to use the flashlights on our phones, something I personally find incredibly unpleasant in a restaurant setting. The waiter informed me they had no dark beers available, forcing me to settle for something else. While the food itself was well cooked and tasty, the presentation and accompaniments were astonishingly sparse and uninspired. My lamb chops arrived with virtually no greens whatsoever. The steak was the same. My wife's veggie souvlaki consisted of little more than a slice of onion and a few tiny fragments of green pepper and tomato. The potatoes were soft rather than crispy and had to be reordered. To make matters worse, there was a DJ blasting a relentless techno beat throughout the evening. Perhaps that works for the bar crowd, but for people attempting to have an actual dinner conversation, it was completely exhausting and utterly anticlimactic. When I approached the DJ hoping the volume or style could be adjusted slightly, she could not have seemed less interested. Overall, this was not the dinner we had planned for. The grilled octopus was tender, dressed with capers, peppers was expertly prepared and the pita and eggplant chips were crisp and served with a tasty tzatziki. The Horataki salad had an abundance of vine ripe tomatoes, feta, olives and cucumbers served with a delicious vinaigrette. We dined here on Easter Sunday it was definitely delightful! The hummus and bread starter was fantastic. We also tried the tzatziki, eggplant dip, and garlic dip - all were very flavorful. The saganaki did not disappoint. The spanakopita was completely different than anything we've ever had as they were little bites rather than pieces, but they were very flavorful. Some of our party had steaks - while good they are not the stars of the show. The lamb chops were spot in. The lamb shank was fantastic and the chicken with orzo super yummy. Last night, I had the pleasure of being of the first to experience Estia Naples. Already infamous in Philly, I have been anticipating this opening for many months. The wait was well worth it. I have no doubt that Estia will quickly establish itself as the best fine dining restaurant in Naples. The restaurant is beautifully crafted with modern elegant floral light fixtures and textures. They offer dining inside, outside, or they also have a couple of private rooms. Stop and view all the fresh whole fish, shrimp, and lobsters displayed by the kitchen. Several of the fish are brought in from Greece. Let's talk about the apps. Growing up on the Chesapeake Bay, I am super critical of crabcakes but the jumbo crabcake is phenomenal. I could easily be happy eating 2 of these as my meal. The Estia chips are a must have starter as well as the octopodi. The octopus was soft and buttery, grilled to perfection. Next visit, I a, told to try the spanakopita manti which is apparently more like a dumpling rather than the traditional spinach cheese pie. The whole fish is the way to go for good clean eating. The Lavraki is a branzino or you could go with Tsipoura which is a popular Greek favorite. For a heartier white fish, go with the Fagri Snapper or Dover Sole. The whole fish are grilled with lemon, butter, capers, oregano...delicious simplicity. A good alternative to the whole fish is the lobster linguini. Large chunks of fresh lobster with a thin red sauce. For those of you concerned it contains Calabrian chili, the spice level was minimal and even my 6 year old chose it as his favorite dish of the night...I am grooming him as a future foodie. For dessert, I recommend the Greek cheesecake which is also feels nice and light, topped with honey and kataifi shreds. Bravo Estia. Just what Naples needed. See you again soon. read more

The bar specials are nicely priced and the portions are same as the regular menu - sadly, those itmes/prices end at 5:30, but we made it just under the wire! The food was wonderful. The 4 star rating is bc they insist on adding an 18% gratuity to your check. We always tip 20% and find it annoying bc out tip would be in cash to the server. We started with flaming cheese and a trio of dips with pita bread followed with a couple of fresh fish entrees and lamb chops all having much flavor and cooked to perfection. One thing to be careful for is fish prices on some items is per pound and can get a little pricey. My brazino fresh from Greece was $72 a little more than the norm. For the finale we called the Dubai Sunday soft serve ice cream with pistachios chocolate pieces and crumbles of heaven. It's a shame that such a delicious culinary experience was stained by rushed service. We couldn't even order a bottle of wine before our lamb chops were rushed out to our table. While some may consider fast service, good service, these are not always the same, especially in a what is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant. Service should be attentive, yet not make you feel like you need to hurry up and eat. We were told we needed to order everything all at once and immediately knew that was a red flag. We barely were into our delicious octopus entree before our main course was being served. Our server was kind but I feel bad because she missed out on an additional 20$ tip had we been even allowed to order our bottle of wine. Next time we'll just sit at the bar. The lighting fixtures are absolutely beautiful. The service was incredible from the moment we arrived. We chose to eat off of the sizzle menu which was $39. Great deal! I had the dip trio, fish (dorade) and mango sorbet. The flavors were incredible. My husband chose the Greek salad, half a chicken with orzo and baklava. We also had drinks. An old fashioned and the iris cocktail. Initially, we thought the portions would be smaller since they were from the sizzle menu, however we were pleased with the portion, presentation and flavors. We did not know they had a DJ that would start around 8 o'clock. She elevated the vibe and made us regret not coming in later to stay and enjoy the music.
