We came to BHA! BHA! Persian Bistro on a Saturday evening during season with a reservation and were quickly seated inside in the stylish but closely spaced dining room. We started with the Trio - pomegranate walnut olive tapenade, cucumber yogurt and chopped shirazi salad (tomato & cucumbers), served with small pieces of pita. This was a tasty start. I loved the tapenade, but the yogurt and salad were quite tasty too. I had the steak as my main - Filet Mignon Kabo "Barg" marinated beef tenderloin strips with chargrilled vegetables. It was delish, steak was very flavorful and some nice accompaniment. The lady had the shrimp and liked it quite a bit - Ginger Apricot Shrimp sautéed with garlic, carrots, plums & apricots. finished in a spicy mango tamarind sauce. There is no better place in Naples for a reunion than the patio at Bha! Bha! Persian Bistro. We sat outside for our meal, which was absolutely lovely, and enjoyed a fabulous bottle of red wine while catching up with friends from both the East and West coasts of Florida. Since it was a Saturday night in December, we definitely needed a reservation. Be aware that they do require a $45 per person deposit/insurance for weekend bookings during the busy season, but for a special night out with a group, it is well worth it! The food here is sophisticated, fragrant, and perfect for sharing. We split a few dishes and every single one was a hit: Mediterranean Salad: So fresh! The English cucumbers and farm tomatoes were perfectly crisp, and the pomegranate vinaigrette gave it a unique, tangy twist that elevated the feta and olives. Persian Style Seafood Paella: This was a standout. It's a generous mix of shrimp, fish, mussels, chicken, and andouille sausage. The tomato saffron sauce was incredible, and the basmati rice soaked up all those fresh herbs and flavors perfectly. Spicy Tabriz Apricot Chicken: This was a fan favorite at the table. The grilled chicken was so tender, and the star was the dried wild currant and apricot chutney sauce. It had that perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Of all my Naples research, this was the restaurant I was most excited for and it did not disappoint! I was here in a group of 5 during the off season and reservations were easily accessible on Open Table. Additionally Bha Bha was offering promotions - $55 3 course prix fixe menu and 30% off bottles of wine. 4 of us ordered from the prix fixe because it was such a good offer. Portions were full sized. I ordered the eggplant lamb appetizer which wowed my tastebuds and was quite filling. I had the kabob for my entree. It was succulent and flavorful. I even had leftovers. The apricot ride was sweet and a perfect compliment to the savory kabob and grilled veggies. Dessert was a Persian ice cream with a small square of baklava. This is not your normal vanilla ice cream- Cardamom and nuts made it something I had regular access to in day to day life but truly made the dining experience something special. Wow! The lamb was out of this world, loved the Persian spices, meat fell off the bone. We started with the Dolmeh as an appetizer- delicious, the grape leaves wrapped lamb & chopped garbanzo beans had amazing flavor. My partner had lamb shank, I wish I got that too (food envy) for the flavor was so good, meat fell off the bone, juice and mushrooms were perfect and complimentary. A GEM! We've dined at Bha Bha a half dozen times and it is always amazing. The Persian flavors are always tasty and perfectly balanced. The Plum Lamb is always a go to dish - a deconstructed stew, the plums and potatoes complement the tender lamb. The apricot shrimp are almost as good; the rich sauce really compliments the shrimp. Their signature duck dish is also rich and flavorful, although on our last fisit, the duck itself was a bit dried out. The star of our show were the lamb chops - perfectly cooked, we got three double chops with nice sides. We sampled several of the hot appetizers. An eggplant napoleon was excellent, as was the artichoke and eggplant dip. Similarly, the deserts were delicious. The Persian ice cream, with pistachios, is my favorite. Our friends enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake. The service was quite good. Our server came by to check on us several times throughout our dinner, but never "got underfoot." The reataurant is attractive, the chairs fairly comfortable (although just a bit too short for my 6'3" frame and long legs). The bar has seating inside and outside - a nice touch. Went last night! We normally go each time I come to Naples to visit my grandparents. Normally we have a super great experience but last night was slightly underwhelming. The food was less quality than we normally experience. The service was still excellent and my drink was great, super strong pour! My grandfather's seafood kharesh had super overcooked calamari and my grandma's lamb was lacking seasoning. The restaurant was packed so we honestly chalked it up to it being the busy season here in Naples. Definitely not writing this restaurant off but we are going to give it a break! read more

Just wanted to start off by saying that the food here is excellent, creative, and flavorful and will get to that later. However, I will say we had some pretty underwhelming service with our waiter david. He was overall impersonal and made no mention of the birthday we were celebrating even though the hostess had made it a point to wish us a happy birthday. Additionally, I felt the bussing service at the restaurant made us feel very pressured and rushed. We had barely finished our apps and mains and we were immediately asked to remove the plates; the overall dining experience felt rushed which was not great. I think if you're going to be charging the prices you are for the food, the service needs to reflect and for us it did not. Moving onto the food, this is definitely the highlight of the meal. We started with the hummus and the lamb eggplant Neapolitan. It was very cool to see a Persian dish in the form of an Italian classic. The flavors were excellent and bold. We had the mixed grill kebob and the ginger apricot shrimp. The shrimp were excellent, super tender and not overly sweet. The kebob sampler was also solid and the meat was extremely tender and packed with flavor. Lastly, we had the chocolate custard with rose which was okay, definitely the weakest part of the meal. It was overpowered with rose. Also, again no mention of happy birthday or a complimentary dessert (but maybe this restaurant doesn't do that, it is my first time so can't draw conclusions). I would come back to this restaurant for the food as it was excellent however I do feel some adjustments need to be made on the service end to really make it a complete dining experience. read more
