Salmon en croute with spinach & feta over rice
    Tanya A.

Exceptional fresh Mediterranean food! Nice atmosphere & good service. The salmon en croute special was amazing, wrapped in phyllo dough with spinach & feta. We shared a flan for dessert. It was perfect.

New favorite place in Naples. Our neighbor recommended this restaurant and it was as good as they said. We loved the saganaki, the lamb kabobs, the salads were amazing, and the pastichio. The prices were good, as was the wine. And the service was top knotch good. Our waitress was very prompt and friendly and knew her stuff. Hard worker. The paintings in the dining room are museum quality. Easy parking in a lot. We plan to go back many times! Cristo!

    Greek salad

Place from the outside is unassuming, but literally everything on the inside is amazing. We had the Greek salad, the chicken souvlaki, Kafta kebab and hummus. All ridiculous good. It's relatively healthy so you can't go wrong. The fries not healthy but still delicious. The owner and one waitress were more than helpful and zero complaints with the service. 5/5 stars.

The culprit that broke my crown.

Food tasted decent..but I received no forewarning that the olives in my Salad still had pits. Took a bite and broke a crown. I mean would it really cost them all that much extra to buy pitted olives? So lunch now costs $15.19 plus $300 for a crown.

I've been to Pelagos Cafe a few times. Today was not the best. To start they did not have any salad today. It was soup or salad with entree. Did not have salad. There were three soup choices. They did not have vegetable soup. Guess no soup or salad for me. The salmon was good and served over rice. It came with vegetables in tomato sauce. I can't eat tomatoes. The other entree was ribs over rice. They were meaty but not very tasty. I'll try it another Here again. Dinner was very good. Three people at our table had Salmon and enjoyed it. I had a pork roast with rice and beans. Much better than last time. The avalemano soup was good. Upgraded to 4 stars. Off to beddy bye. Good night

You have to try the meatballs, made of roasted lamb wrapped around ground beef and pine nuts. Fabulous.

They do have a nice outdoor seating area that I am sure is amazing during the cooler months. They had a summer special, $35 for an entree and starter or dessert. Hubby got the starter, I got the dessert. He had the branzino and I had the lamb shank. We had the roasted peppers and tiramisu with pistachio. I also ordered a Hugo spritz and my husband had the nutty fashion. The lamb shank was delicious and fall off the bone tender. I feel the branzino could have had a little more flavor and I would have preferred it be cooked a little longer but it was a very generous portion and was still a great meal. Service was spot on. Our server, Jose was attentive and professional. Our drinks were also well made and a generous pour. If you have not been to the Med they are part of the sizzle dining and I encourage you to try it. We will be back.

Although the ambiance inside is relaxing, the outside weather permitting reminds me so much of dining outside in Italy From the warm welcome upon entering to the gracious "Ciao" upon departing, you'll be hard pressed to find a more intimate restaurant in this area.

The drinks, while a bit pricey for some of the options, were on point as well. The service was just OK - they were not at capacity by far and we had to wait quite a bit to order another round of drinks or pay the bill. The negative experience - apparently they do not clean the chairs. Please check before you sit down. My new dress is basically going into the trash because I sat in a pool of olive oil or who knows what else someone decided to wipe on that chair and the entire back side of my dress is one huge greasy stain!! Thank goodness the restaurant is located in a mall and I was able to go to a store to purchase a new outfit. We made our server aware of the situation but all we got was a quick apology and no other effort to make things right. Overall, just disappointed in how they handled this situation. I walked out of the place in a bad mood, lost a beautiful new dress and had to spend another $70 on a fresh outfit - sorry the food was good and all but not worth this aggravation.

MEDITERRANEAN NIGHT…read more Enjoyed a light, tasty meal for my final birthday din din with one of my bestest gal pals at Amfora in Coconut Point. An open kitchen concept that is bright and roomy. Not my favorite decor in the world but extremely nice service! I craving something fresh & healthy after a holiday bonanza of food - we decided on Mediterranean cuisine and knowing Amfora is consistently delicious, we landed here! Their Grand Mezze platter offers creamy greek cheeses, hummus, baba ghnoush, and marinated peppers and olives. Really great offering! Then we split the Beet Salad with poppyseeds, walnuts, goat cheese, and pomegranate dressing - YUM! The blue crab gnocchi with saffron sauce was to die for (although I didn't understand the corn in there!) They even provided a scrumptious, decadent piece of their homemade tiramisu for my bday dessert - CHEERS TO 29 (again)
