My wife and I went out with the intention of going to Keke's Breakfast Café, but when we got there…read morewe were told there would be 20-30 minute wait despite more than half the booths being empty, (My hypothesis is that they can't hire of keep staff despite the extant staff seeming quite happy and pleasant.) Not wanting to wait, we walked a few dozen steps to a place I had noted before, Quaca Go, re-tuning my culinary expectations from French Toast to burrito. There was no table service, but that wasn't a problem. I'm a bit uncomfortable about being served, probably legacy of my radical upbringing which is currently being eroded by dining at Abe & Louie's. It also provided an opportunity to see the food and its preparation à la Chipotle. Here, this presentation was a great idea. The food looked as fresh and delicious as it proved to be. The staff was pleasant and attentive. They seemed to enjoy their job and a small sign on the counter showed their first names under their photos allowing a more egalitarian exchange.

While they do have a great idea, I may have visited on a semi off day. The avocados were overripe and covered with dark bruises, which was kind of a bummer because I pick better avocados at the store. The menu for ordering was also a little confusing and the staff members weren't too willing to help or offer suggestions. They also got my two bowls confused in the end, which resulted in my husband's jalapeño filled bowl topped with my chicken, and my sweet pineapple bowl topped with his shrimp. I'm not usually picky, but having worked in food service for many years I expect a little more from a jazzy restaurant like this! I left feeling like I probably should have just made burrito bowls at home.

I had a turkey wrap with spinach, feta cheese, red peppers, black olives & carrots. It was very good! The only thing was that it was too big to pick up, but I just used my fork. I asked for a crepe with Nutella , bananas and cheesecake which contain less than any of the 3 choices on the menu which are priced at 8.99. The lady at the register who is definitely lost wanted to charge me 19.99. Not even in France does it cost that. When I questioned why I was being charged 19.99, she said because I was picking cheesecake from one of their selections and Nutella from another so she had to charge for two even though I was ordering one crepe. I said never mind give me the one on the menu for 8.99 which comes with everything. She then tried to rob me again by telling me she would then just give me 8.00 back. I told her no! You will charge me what it says on the menu of 8.99 plus tax plus give me a receipt. She wasn't liking it. But, had no choice. Then, the foreign man came and put it together and it was awful. That watered down chocolate sauce is nasty. Don't waste your time. Also as the other post said they aren't wearing mask!

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.
