    Croffil (sp)

Came in today for brunch to celebrate mine and my step daughter's Birthday. She & I both ordered the croffil (ham), and the hubs got the meat sauce spaghetti. Our waitress was amazing! Our sandwiches were good but the meat was cold on it and our hash brown was cold. We may give them another try and go for dinner.

Challenging evening for a local Italian favorite. We chose this location because of the great outdoor space. Everything from then on was a slight disappointment. Our order took a lot longer than expected and this was around 8:00 or so. Definitely past the dinner crowds. I ordered a pepperoni double crust pizza and out comes a sausage and pepperoni. I don't eat sausage, but sending this back would have taken another 30 minutes to get a correct pizza. The others ordered a salmon salad and had to request salmon as the dish came out empty of the protein. The steak salad tasted like "subway steak" from a statement made at the table. A local said, "this isn't quite the restaurant that it used to be." Maybe it was an off night, but like anywhere that charges the same prices for an off night, it was definitely a disappointment and not one we plan to experience again.

I always love visiting SoHo. I often go there after a field visit or in Charleston. The ambiance is calm yet exciting, and the food is delightful. The people who serve you are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you visit!

I came here as a kid for many years with my family. Back as an adult, I was blown away with the food and service! Everything was so flavorful and tasted fresh. Great farm to table atmosphere and friendly staff. If you are in Charleston, Sohos must try!

Stopped at the Capitol Market to browse and found this restaurant tucked inside. We tried it for lunch. Ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and it was very good. The crust is a very thin crust and the toppings are plentiful. They have a full service bar also. A nice stop for lunch!

Excellent service, good variety of food and drink options. Smoked salmon was excellent as well as the pizza bread.

Solid restaurant in a cool part of town with a fabulous outdoor dining area. Service was really good, friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was very good, especially the crab cake, which served as a main entree with a salad. Reasonably priced cocktails and wine by the glass. Indoor bar, the bartender will make you any concoction you wish. Easy parking. Fun vibe.

I met a friend for lunch and drinks--the bartender at SoHo's makes the absolute best martini in town--and we both got the Reuben with Caesar salad. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was friendly and efficient, and our drinks and food were delivered quickly. As always, it was a fantastic brunch/lunch experience!

The steak was tender but it was drowned I. Soy sauce and very salty. The salad was great. Very fresh. The minestrone soup was great. The tirimisu was too sweet, but hey, were in WV, right? Over a great place. The lasagna here is phenomenal, they do Italian well.

We were passing thru Charleston, wanted a place we could walk to from our hotel. Great place- We…read moresplit a small classic pizza, and a simple salad. Food and service were excellent. The pizza toppings and sauce were flavorful, the crust had just enough crispness and chewy bite to it. Salad was very fresh and crisp. Gorgonzola dressing flavorful but not over-powering. Had a Headhunter IPA recommended by our server was great. Great meal. Excellent service. Only suggestion I'd have is to put up a more visible sign. Walked by it once and on way back to hotel asked some peole on sidewalk where it was and they pointed across the street. Fun atmosphere.

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.

A major plus to this Seasonal Depression Sufferer! We went to the bar to place our order! We opted for the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots for $10 & the Fully Loaded Detroit Style Pizza for $15I had a bottle of water and though he was very disappointed that it was ONLY their WV Craft Beer served, he went with what the bartender recommended (closest to a PBR & Budweiser that they offered ) for $5.50, total with taxes & Tip was $42. We were surprised that the food was out in like 15 minutes. We fully expected to wait since Detroit Deep Dish normally takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes to cook fully. This led us to believe it was PAR BAKED for faster Customer Service which to many is NOT A PLUS! The Garlic Knots were very doughy and extremely dense in texture. Not a fan! The service was fast and friendly but for the atmosphere, price and the fact they are trying to be trendy, the paper plates & plastic cutlery was a BIG NEGATIVE!! I know myself even if Melanac Hard Plastic for plates is okay, but I want true Silverware!! The sauce has a really Great flavor and the cheese pull was very nice on the pizza. The sauce served on top, a big big plus!! I live in Ripley, WV and drove 35 minutes one way to enjoy this meal, but the question is...would I do it again?? Probably NOT! I give them a 5 out of 5 on atmosphere and ambience they nailed that! I give them a 4 out 5 on Customer Service because the food came too fast!! I give them a 3 out 5 for the food, the sauce was perfect but everything else about taste and flavor was a hit and miss. The score might have been higher if I had left off the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots!! The beer though I tasted it wasnt bad but Im not a beer drinker, my hubby was very disappointed so thats 2 out of 5 stars and the tableware scores a zero!! I wasn't on a picnic and the paper and plastic screams picnic or lazy kitchen staff to me!! So, would I recommend? I must say overall, 3 stars out of 5 stars! I recommend you go and decide for yourself!
