    Liverwurst, excellent
    Jo H.

Hidden Gem. This term is often mis or overused, but when it comes to Soigne, it is quite accurate. The place is a bit hard to find, and when attempting to call ahead, the line continually provided a busy signal. Parking is in the back, and the entrance from there is on the side. It winds to the front on a porch. The turkey club is excellent. The bacon was cooked and crunchy, the turkey was quality meat and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The liverwurst was also excellent. They had a small bag of Torres Black Truffle potato chips and they were fantastic! You have to be a lover of truffle flavor, as they are intense. Inside we ordered our sandwiches, paid (Amex not accepted), and it was only 5 minutes before our sandwiches were ready. I saw one patio table outside near the packing, but it was unclear if that was for use with Soigne or for the business whose building is in the same parking lot. There is a good selection of wine bottles, cheeses and pastries. Everything looks so good! They even have a few gift items. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quality sandwich.

Great spot to pickup picnic items for a beach lunch. The baguettes used for their sandwiches is perfectly crisp and soft.

Something we didn't know. Bread was worth it, would have liked more transparency there. Drinks are great. I forgot the name of the cocktail I ordered but shoutout the bartender. We also got a free champagne toast for our anniversary which was greatly appreciated. I would 10/10 recommend this place if you're in town.

This time we went with friends, which meant I got to sample a little bit of everything -- the short ribs, wok-fried lobster, and a massive slice of carrot cake that took me two days to finish at home. We also enjoy getting dressed up to come here since they've got the white tablecloths my wife looks for when she's sipping her drink -- so don't show up straight from the beach in flip-flops and a tee. The vibe is always relaxed but elevated, the food and drinks are on point, and the service never misses. That's why we keep coming back.

Husband's tikka masala was delicious and the chicken was very tender. He had it with medium spice and he was happy. Be sure to say tapwater is fine or you're gonna get an expensive bottle of flat water! Make sure you note that this is $$$ - it might not be expensive relative to other restaurants on the island or to the people who live here, however, it was relatively expensive for us, but flavor wise it was worth it. Service was friendly and the decor is a little plain. Hopefully, they will spice that up a little bit. Sorry, I'm terrible at remembering to take photos before I dive into the food.

The service was fast and efficient, and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including two bars. It would be a good place to watch a game over dinner. I enjoyed my chana masala with garlic naan. It was tasty with just the right level of spice. But $50 seemed a bit steep, even for Martha's Vineyard. I'd definitely come back, but their prices make this more of a special treat than an everyday meal.

Our server made several mistakes throughout the evening and had an unexpectedly aggressive attitude. He forgot my sister's wine twice, brought out an incorrect order, and mishandled my mom's dessert request. There was also confusion around the dessert order. My mom wanted one scoop of gelato and asked about the available flavors. The server was very unclear, using "sorbet" and "gelato" interchangeably throughout the conversation. In the end, she ordered one scoop of "lemon gelato," as he described it, which should have been $3. So we were surprised when the bill came and showed a $14 charge for lemon sorbet--which wasn't even listed on the menu. When we pointed this out, the server responded in a pretty surly manner, though the charge was eventually corrected. After we paid, he brought over a scoop of vanilla gelato and said it was "on him," but the delivery felt sarcastic and he placed it on the table quite aggressively. By that point, we were already full and honestly just ready to leave. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the poor service really put a damper on the evening and left us ending the night on a negative note. Since we were a party of six, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which was unfortunate given the level of service we received.

While I can appreciate the choose your own adventure / tasting concept and benefits of moving at your own pace, wine tasting is something where I'd prefer to have more of a personal touch. The storytelling and personal connection was missing, and made the experience feel a bit hollow. The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site. But I'm glad I tried it and had fun.

The restaurant is so cozy, the service is always quick and friendly, they have an outstanding tequila selection and the food is tremendous. We had the taleggio agnolotti, rabbit pappardelle, sunchokes, foccacia, halibut, scallops, pork schnitzel and duck leg cassoulet. Truly all of the food was outstanding but my favorites were the cassoulet, rabbit pasta and the halibut. The pork was good but do note that it is a positively enormous amount of food! We were so full that we almost skipped dessert but we had to try just a couple of things so we ordered the Dubai chocolate ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding which were both great but the ice cream was the favorite.
