    Banana cream matcha

New spot in Cedar Hills! The matcha quality is great, but I found the drink to be a bit too sweet. The drink prices seem pretty high too. This place is very popular so be prepared to wait for a while, sometimes the line is out the door!

I visited the new location on a weekday and there was a small line that extended indoors only. I wish they posted the menu on the window/by the entrances. The only menu I saw was right at the cashier which gave little time to decide without feeling rushed. There's more seating inside and outside compared to the eastside location. There were around 4-5 baristas working at the same time. I got the Matcha Einspanner and I think it was better than when I tried it at the OG location a while back. The cream is smoother and the matcha is stronger.

Solid matcha, tried the banana cream as well as the coconut cream. I'm sensitive to matcha/caffeine and so the coconut has been a nice compromise for me. Inside is aesthetic and modern and they have seating inside and outside. There are not a lot of seating options bc the place is fairly compact but luckily because of the area there are quite a few other places around that you can sip and yap. Also love that they carry Kookido mochi cookies :)

Checked out the new Project Matcha while we were in Beaverton. We went on a Thursday afternoon. From the time we got in line to time we got our drinks we waited approximately 20 minutes. The interior was nice & open. Employees were friendly & there is indoor & outdoor seating. We got a banana cream matcha & an ube latte which were both delicious! The only reason I took a star away was because we only got 3/4 of our ube latte when we asked for light ice :(. We were a little disappointed that we weren't warned beforehand because we just wanted to take cute pics :(.

Green powder and milk. Overrated for the cost $7.50 and mostly ice. Nothing special. There's a lot of other better options on west side.

Spoiler alert: I went here twice within the same weekend because that's how much I loved it. There was a very long line when we got there, but I felt like the line doesn't move too slowly. There's not a ton of seating here, so it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place. My best friend and I ended up getting multiple drinks and these were our favorites: -project matcha latte strawberry matcha latte -coconut matcha cloud They were all SO delicious. I ended up getting the coconut matcha cloud twice because the combination was so delicious and refreshing. The matcha quality here is really good. I wished I was visiting longer so that I could've tried more of their drinks! I highly recommend this place. The vibes were fantastic and staff were very friendly too.

Perfect for before or after a meal (or even just for a walk). We tried to stop by before lunch reservations and the line was insane, so we came back after eating and it cooled down. Milk substitutions are priced in, which is always nice for matcha. Line moves pretty smoothly. Some seating available, but taking drinks out to the street for a nice walk is fun too. Banana Cream Matcha - not our favorite banana matcha, but it's pretty good. Banana flavor was present yet not overwhelming of the matcha. Banana tends to be pretty strong so the ratio here is amazing. Matcha quality is high, whisked well and very smooth. Grassy undertones mixed with sweet banana make this a solid first impression. Double Matcha - for the matcha fanatics, this combines a matcha latte with a matcha cream top and both are delicious. The cream top is smooth, a bit thick, and extremely flavorful. Concentrated matcha in the small layer resting on top help wake the taste buds. Visiting project matcha for a double matcha just makes sense.

I am obsessed with this team and this space. Portland, wake up! We have another amazing wine…read moremerchant with indoor seating for tasting. And, most of the team are incredible sommeliers with a few currently training to become master somms! What a resource for us! David and Marissa are very welcoming. From the moment we stepped into the space on Tuesday to participate in the blind tastings, they consistently taught us new information and led us perfectly through the journey of identifying wines. I also really enjoyed their energies, and Marissa matched our sass and zest for life very well. C&U normally have flights available at all hours when open, but, Tuesdays are special. Blind tastings are only hosted then, so, make your way down to learn something and to taste new wine. You can select either one red flight, one white flight, or both for a total of six wines to taste. We decided to do the six wines, so one red and one white blind flight. There are extensive resources to help you with this experience, and I would highly recommend water and snacks to balance the palette. Seating is not abundant, so, I would recommend arriving early if you want to guarantee a spot. I hope that they offer outdoor seating come summer. My only critique of this place would be that their hours could be longer or pushed to open later for more time in evenings for guests. 7pm closures are tough for most of us professionals. C&U also offers special events and courses to expand your experience. I will definitely be coming on Friday this week for the special German wine release that David told me about. Thank you, I cannot wait to come here often.

Perfect wine shop!…read more Service - The service is extraordinary. The knowledge of the staff, which are trained somms, is unmatched at any shop we've been to. It is obvious that the people who work here have passion in spades for wine and sharing it with people. For anyone who is new to discovering wines of the world this makes your journey so much more fun. We've never gotten a bad recommendation from the staff because they listen to what you like and then push you a little outside your norm, if willing, to really expand your experience. Price - The prices are fair, this isn't Costco wine so don't expect $12 bottles to reign supreme but they are usually within a buck or two of other local wine shops with larger footprints. With that said though, there is a wide range of prices that should help any budget find quality wine. Atmosphere - The atmosphere is great. They keep it cool to protect the wines and it is reminiscent of walking into a very fancy wine cellar. They are large enough to not feel cramped but small enough to keep that intimate feel. Quality wine glasses and seating areas make it very pleasant to stay for a bit and enjoy the experience. Selection - Selection is wonderful, they don't have as many bottles as a Total Wine or the like, but everything in the shop is thoughtfully curated. I don't think I would hesitate to grab any bottle as it would be a good example of the wine in that region. They have wines from around the world, so it is like taking a trip around the globe where you can stop anywhere you like. Experience - The overall experience at Cru and Domaine is special, from the warm welcome of familiar faces to just sitting and popping open a bottle (no corkage fee for wine purchased in the shop) and enjoying it while chatting with the staff and hearing all about what makes that wine so excellent. They also have a nice selection of Coravin Pours (wines they tap using a Coravin System to keep them perfectly fresh). Some of these pours are pricey wines you can try by the ounce because you may not want to spring for the whole bottle. Summary/ TLDR - There is no single reason that keeps us going back time and again, it's all the reasons, and all the reasons added up make this a PDX gem and a special place to enjoy wine with friends.

Thousands of options here in one gigantic marketplace, and something for everyone! The marketplace itself is quite dated. Yet it is eclectic and quirky. It is welcoming and irrefutably very memorable. There is a dedicated area to serve beer on tap with a list of about 12 options and then there is a restaurant with a limited menu. Mostly things like burgers, sandwiches, and other common pub fair. There are vegetarian options available. When your order is ready, they use an overhead mic that is resemblance of something that you would hear over the loudspeaker at an 80s rollerskating rink. On site, there are bathrooms and areas for seating that include bar tops, high tops, and even a couple of comfy couches. There is an outdoor patio that is very inviting during the warmer months of the year. Ultimately, this is an incredibly impressive presentation of beverages. Perhaps even something that some people would consider a museum of sorts. Either way, there is definitely choices for everyone, and this is an establishment that can't be missed.
