Both times I took a class with Shannon H, who is great for instructing Lagree newbs and offering a quick refresher before class. Both classes I worked up a healthy sweat and had full body soreness the next day(s). They also offer Versaclimber classes, which I've yet to try, but the clients that walk out of that class are always drippin' in sweat! This place is everything. Limitless workout options, spotless facilities, great layout, & an uplifting, motivating energy every time you walk in. But the real gem? The Tank. Full-body recovery heaven. It's my new go-to sanctuary after a beast of a session. Massive love to John Slater--he's the real MVP who signed me up and has made me feel like family ever since. If I lived in Houston, I would sign up for this addition to my members. Brian P was working in the recovery center and was so knowledgeable about the equipment (to include the red light therapy and the Cryo chamber). Knowing I didn't live in the area so I couldn't sign up did not stop him from sharing so much info about the health benefits. For those in the Houston area, I highly recommend checking this LA Fitness out. Make sure to ask for Brian to see the recovery center!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PRT…read more It's been a complete nightmare and I feel like an idiot for giving them the benefit of the doubt for so long to make things right (failing to freeze after a disabling injury, lack of communication, showing up for numerous classes with no trainers, saying we could use the facility outside of training but then not allowing it, charging when they said they would freeze, not having staffing or times available that I ensured were available before signing up, and more). They also double charged my boyfriend for training for MONTHS and never made it right. Both the gym and corporate offices don't respond consistently or call you back when they say they will. A lot of the equipment in the normal part of the gym is rusting and the padding is torn. They need more of popular machines like leg extensions. I've gone specifically to use machines for recovery from surgery and was never able to because they're forever occupied.

Staff are nice but half the machines are out of order at this location or missing major components…read morelike keys. Only one is pending repairs and has a notice. The filter has needed a change for over a month and cleaning I use Blink across the city and country and this is a poorly maintained one.
