SCAM ALERT ! Their website takes you to website Freaha.com to book which says your New Client Appts will be FREE, and takes all of your information. I tried and tried to call but got no answer at the business. I went on Groupon on 5/15/2023 and it had just hours left on their sale and was $11.48 for a spray tan and their regular price was said to be $15. I have never had a spray tan before so thought there no need to buy the Groupon as I didn't mind paying full price. I made my FREE appt and showed up and gave all my information a second time and was asked to pay almost $44! I asked if I could purchase the Groupon and use it now and the snarled at me and says "you can use it on your next visit!" So my full information was taken 2X for their usage in exchange for a service not received, my time wasted, and they tried to charge me 3X the advertised price on Groupon!! Sounds like a classic bait and switch scam to me!!! A misunderstanding I can do business with but a liar and a fraud won't get my money!! read more

I have been a loyal customer for years, but was very disappointed with my most recent experience. Went in today to use my last Black Friday Tan Special I purchased last year, and was told they wouldn't honor because it expired the day before. Today is 11/23, and Black Friday was 11/24 last year. They said customers have been confused and complaining all day. I asked if an exception could be made, as I just drove an hour to my appointment but they did not even offer to call management. I was told these would expire on Black Friday, but at minimum they should be valid through the Black Friday date of last year which is the 24th. Very disappointed with lack of care to customers. All the girls do sooo good on my airbrush tans! I've been getting airbrush tans from here for over 5 years and they always look amazing!

They should improve customer service...they should make sure if someone requests to freeze their membership, it is honored. Also, if someone requests to cancel their membership, they should be accommodated with a smile. It's disappointing if someone cancels their membership, but if you make it seem impossible, they will become angry and refuse to come back. Because they made it so difficult for me, I ended up discovering a home tanning method that is much cheaper and gives me better results than their booth tan. read more

I have spray tanned here before never really had any issues until the other day. From previous reviews, and now with my experience here regarding their "Groupon" policy, there seems to be a definite disconnect on their policies regarding same. I understand you can only use one Groupon within six months and has to be new customers, but I have been going here pretty consistently throughout the years on and off. I was told previously, had purchased packages, and because I had always purchased additional tans at the Groupon price, which they gave at time of redemption that they would always just charge me the Groupon price of 15$ whenever I came into tan. However, I went into this location the other day and I was asked if "I was a new customer? What location had I visited?" Then after that inquisition was over and they located me because there were no notes in my file by a manager these girls insinuated that I was lying just because it wasn't typed into the computer. I have been going here since living in Flower Mound, which is going on six years. I hardly get spray tanned and would have no reason or incentive to lie, but I have been a good loyal customer. I have the money to purchase at full price but it was the entire experience. I didn't want to argue with the girls, they really acted like they had no clue what they were doing, and it wasn't worth the headache. I knew myself well enough that anymore insinuations of me lying, I would have gotten angry and no business is worth that, no thank you. I will just go elsewhere. read more

I paid 80 dollars for a buy one get two deal on the airbrush because my tan looked so good immediately after it was done. Two days later it was already fading and looking splotchy. I did everything I was told to prep and care for the tan afterwards. A 65 dollar tan should not be splotchy and faded in TWO DAYS. I've called and asked for a refund on what I paid for the second tan as I obviously won't be coming back and I've been waiting for a week for the manager to get in touch with me and nothing. I called again today and was told that the manager simply may not contact me because they don't offer refunds. Bottom line, don't waste your money. There is a place in south lake that offers the exact same services at a cheaper rate with a better outcome. read more

I've gotten many spray tans from here before. I am not new to this. I paid $78 for a airbrush tan with something in it to make it last longer. I took a shower 24 hours after and the tan washed off I know that it's just the bronzer and not the tan( or I thought) I waited a few days hoping a tan would develop and it never did. I called the store to see if there was any way I could get re funded or something and the girl who spoke ok the phone was rude and acting like I was making this up. read more

I found Sol Co. via a Groupon deal, I needed a spray tan so I signed up for 3 airbrush tans for a very affordable price. I have been to one other play in town and this by far exceeded my expectations. So much attention detail, even with a large group behind me and running behind schedule. I felt very taken care of. Today being told I couldn't use the Groupon because I "had already been told last time it was 2 Groupon's a life time." I used another tanning salon for about 10 years. When I moved to FM, I tried this one. I have had nothing but issues. It is very poorly managed. I canceled my membership in March, which they didn't do and kept charging me. No managers would help. I got confirmation from them again in July that I would not be billed again. But again I was billed in August. I called multiple times last week and still no one has called back or fixed the issue. On top of that, the online booking system is poor, the place is run down, and when you call in you are passed around or told someone will get back to you, but it rarely happens. Very disappointing, I would have been a 10 year autopay customer but instead I would rather have no tan than deal with this place. read more

I used the sunless tanning booth a few times because they had a great deal during their grand opening. It works but not as well as the VersaSpa, in my opinion. They don't have a clear application, so you get the speckles of paint all over your clothes and sheets. With skin that doesn't naturally tan, I'm really good at extending the lifespan of my fake tan. I found that this norvell booth doesn't stay on as well as other types of tans either. Other than the actual tan product, this place it fine though. I purchased a Groupon for the airbrush tan. This was my first time having an airbrush tan and I was very pleased. The girl that did mine was a young blonde girl and she was super sweet. She took her time and made sure not to miss any spots. My tan lasted a week, and I bet it would of lasted longer but i used a salt scrub that made it come off after a week. I will be going back for a second tan tomorrow. My advice is, don't wear flip flops. I didn't wear them during the tan but I put them on after and it made a funny tan line lol. That's ok though cause You can't really see it unless I am barefoot. Maybe I just need to wear a different shoe next time. read more

Mind you it was 7:10 in the evening and the hours on the door stated they were open until 9pm. No note, no explanation just no one there. So I called them and I was transferred to the Frisco location that was open. How in the heck does your Flower Mound locations phone number on your website ring to Frisco???????? Are you kidding me!? This place is shit. They totally ruined my tan for NYE. I get it, they were busy but that doesn't mean it's ok to rush through an airbrush tan and do a horrible job. The girl that did my tan was rushing and did my tan in less than 3 minutes. She would ask me to switch positions and would start spraying me before I was able to get in position, it was very annoying. She did such a sloppy job! I bought a " Black Friday " special of tans late 2019. Year 2020 with COVID they were closed and yet I wasn't wanting to use at that time. I went to try and use my 6 tans left and was told they are gone. No email of them expiring. I find this to be very unacceptable, especially in the past year of COVID. Caroline does such an amazing job on my airbrush tans! I always hope that she is there when I come in to get a spray tan. She even takes the extra time to roll out any minor smudges from the top coat of the bronzer after I put my clothes back on. My spray tan always looks fantastic when i get it done and the girls are great at what they do!!! But every single time I show up to my appointment that is booked 2+ days in advance I always ALWAYS have to wait at least 30 minutes-- sometimes up to an hour. I just love the experience I get at Sol Co! Getting a good airbrush technician can be hard to find, but Sydney made me look PERFECT. No streaks, and I came out glowing and brown instead of orange. I had a great first experience at Sol. A redhead, I'm pretty white, and was looking to get some quick color before heading out on my week vacation to the beach, so as not to frighten anyone.. The customer service at Sol was very friendly and welcoming. The two women working the desk greeted me and confirmed my appointment. I explained I had found their business on Groupon and had never received a spray on tan before. You fill out a quick form - I'm assuming for liability, or possibly marketing (I honestly didn't read it) - then your appointment is called, and it's time for your spray on tan. One of the associates took me back to the booth and explained the instructions clearly about how the process would work. In the end, I received a fast, affordable tan that I'm very happy with. Used the spray booth for a month and ended my membership. Spray tan was very uneven and patchy. Not impressed sadly!

The girls here are really nice and the tan looks really good the first few days but after that it goes down hill. Got the airbrush one about four to five times and only the first couple really looked good. Every time you get another one you will have to remove all of the previous tan, which is very difficult and nearly impossible to do. If you don't get it all off, your next one will look uneven. Their lotions are very good and I just decided to stick to those to get a little color since I am very light. read more

I have I only been to Sol Twice, and I have only gotten a spray tan twice in my life so you do the math! I love this place!!! They are SO friendly and nice. There tans are extremely even and long lasting. So many of my friends complimented me and stated that I did not look orange like most girls look after a spray tan. I opted for an airbrushed medium dark tan. I was totally freaking out when I was leaving because I was so streaky and sticky. The gals that work there reassured me that it was just bronzer, that the tan was developing underneath it. I had to wait 8 hrs to shower in warm water (no soap). Tons of bronzer rinsed right off. After I got out the shower, I was no longer streaky, had a beautiful even, golden tan. Not orange at all! The 8 hrs of hell worrying about it was totally worth it! Will be back! read more
