They didn't have dip for the rest of the day which was fine because they had gel polish to offer. So we took it and she starts soaking my friends dip nails, everything was going fine, she did my friend's toes and then did mine the pedicures were decent. Before she did mine, she told us after she's done with my toes she will move on to doing her nails. After she finished with my toes, her and another nail tech were talking and she just walks over to the other nail techs client and starts doing her toes and the other nail tech leaves. Mind you we only picked up on this based on watching it happen, they did not communicate any updates to us and my friend and I sat there for about 30 minutes waiting for them to come back to us. When they finally got back to us, there was no apology for the wait or even an explanation and my friend and I had to leave quick cause we had somewhere to be and ended up just getting gel polish (white) and that wasn't even satisfactory. Definitely would not go again, if you are going to go, make an appointment because they clearly don't really care for walk ins even though we made it clear if they can't take us it's okay.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR HAIR!!!! I booked an appointment for blonde highlights on my…read morenatural brown hair, and for unknown reasons, they booked me for a haircut. After I got my confirmation call and I asked them if the stylist had time for a full highlight or if they were booking me for a partial, they said she would have time. Then once she started doing my hair, she was rushing through it, and said my highlights were orange. I asked her to let them process longer, and she refused. She instead said she would do a pink toner because I like to do pink wash out color conditioner from time to time, but I told her I wanted to have BLONDE highlights, and asked her again several times to let is process longer to blonde because I dont want orange hair. She still refused and continued to do what SHE wanted, instead of what I was paying $300 for! Then instead of blowdrying my hair so I could see the highlights, she left my hair wet because her next client was coming in. So, she DID NOT book my appointment for enough time to FULLY process my full head of highlights, and that's why she didn't let them process the correct amount of time. It would have made her late for her next appointment. So I had to blow out my own hair when I got home, and now my hair is ORANGE. It looks like I did my own highlights in the dark! I paid over THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for ORANGE HAIR!!!! Now I am so embarrassed to go out in public looking like this, that I have to wear a hat everywhere I go. I don't even want to look in the mirror because it makes me angry that I will now have to either pay MORE money to have someone fix this disaster which may ruin my hair, or I will have to dye over it, after spending 7 years letting all of the dye grow out of my hair! Now I have to fight with Ulta for a refund. Did I mention that when I called to speak to the manager, she was being a condescending B? She had a nasty attitude and didn't care that this girl messed up my hair. Her "resolution" was to have someone less experienced "wash the toner out" which is NOT the problem!!! Ulta SUCKS!!!! *Update* They offered a refund for the terrible service that I was charged for but stated that they could not refund the tip. This is just adding insult to injury, since she did such an awful job, she does not deserve the tip!!! They then offered to give me an Ulta gift card instead, even after I told them I want to cancel my Ulta account and never shop there again. This is so infuriating, since the tip was $65, and I am going to have to spend all of the money I was refunded and then some, to have another salon do a correction of the Ulta stylist's mistake!!!

Pending on my schedule, I go between seeing Suzanna and Heidi - they're both amazing. The only downside to this location is the parking which I know the studio has minimal to no control over. The Coconut Creek Promenade is sparse when it comes to street parking and with new restaurants opening and a busy Starbucks just a few doors down, it can be hard to find a spot in a pinch. For that reason, I always get there 10 minutes early because I never know if I'll get lucky and find a spot immediately or have to drive around a few times before I can snag one.

The nail tech was young and inexperienced, and she struggled with a simple manicure. Throughout the years, I have been to a handful of other Toi locations and never had any issues, so this location was a disappointment. I drove the 5.6 miles to their Boynton Beach salon and got a really good manicure, and my nail tech was excellent. They have good reviews, so if you go, I hope you have a better experience than I did.
