Has the focaccia bread and butter that was killer and the trout that was great. Wife loved her steak. My waitress was cool and really helped explain the menu. The restaurant has a great look as well and love the classic floor tile. Mad I haven't already gone there and will be back.

We started with champagne, and my husband ordered a Bee's Knees cocktail, which paired perfectly with our crab claw appetizer, served with a remoulade and spicy cocktail sauce. Spencer, the sommelier, guided us to a beautiful wine -- an Ashes & Diamonds Cabernet Franc -- and it was excellent. For our entrée, we had the steak frites, it was cooked perfectly. We chose the filet-cut and came with a delicate Beurre Blanc sauce, the fries, were crispy and delicious, especially with the Dijon aioli. The service was exceptional and warm/friendly. Nicky was our server and she was very kind. We're already looking forward to coming back to try the beef bourguignon, and the burger looked amazing as well. Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, peaceful, and the food was outstanding.

I went here with friends back in February for our first time and we all loved it. Both service and…read morefood were wonderful, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. I ordered apricot iced tea, the vegan fried chicken sandwich, and pineapple upside-down cake. I don't normally like chicken sandwiches that much, but this was really good. And the highlight was getting to choose any of the salads on the menu as the side salad that comes with it. I had the hearts of palm salad with vegan cheese instead of the usual parmesan. It was delicious! I also got to try the cauliflower wings and a bite of the Korean BBQ tofu sandwich. I liked that sandwich too, but not as much. I do like the way they fried the tofu, but it seemed different than what was described on the menu. It seemed just deep fried, but not battered. My only complaint is the layout of the building and the lack of directional signage. I didn't park in the parking lot, so I didn't know to enter from the back and I ended up on a long confusing walk both outside and inside the building before I finally reached the dining room.

Seated promptly without a reservation. Nice vibe, retro theme. Tyler, our server was wonderfully engaging, made good food recommendations, really appeared to be a good human, and made a good meal better ... Salmon cakes appetizer were a nice start, the salads were memorable -- fresh and refreshing -- and my crusted salmon was a completely satisfying entree and I loved the crunch (good portion size, great sauce, and accompaniments). And, Tyler made a great pot of coffee ... strong, rich flavor. I thought it was excellent value. Thanks Tyler!

This was my first visit to Maestro. It's a bit on the smaller side I believe the capacity is around…read more80 guests. But it is a very attractive restaurant inside. There's a variety of seating available, booths that can hold up to six people, several high top tables and regular two and four seat tables. As you walk in the front doors the bar is immediately the focal point at the back of the restaurant. Throughout the restaurant are lights hanging from the ceiling with oversized wicker-like shades. Lighting is thoughtfully done, not too bright, not too dark. Our server was very attentive and was eager to answer all our questions and we did have quite a few because the menu was rather unique. We had questions about some of the ingredients and portion sizes. Half of the menu is more Tappas style; great for sharing because the portions are generous. The other half of the menu is more entrée sized and our table of six ordered a variety of items from both sides of the menu. The beet salad (Remolacha) was fabulous, with good size chunks of beets mixed with peanuts and Pomegranate and crema plus a few other ingredients. My entree was the Frita Cubana a chorizo-spiced beef patty with egg, cheese, onion, shoestring fries, aioli, served on a yummy brioche bun. It was delicious. We shared the PROVOLETA, Melted provolone with chimichurri served in a cast iron pan with toasted sourdough for dipping. Awesome. CROQUETAS are 3 roughly golf ball sized fried lump crab cakes, with lemon aioli and chives, also awesome. There was a happy hour which our server neglected to mention until it was too late but our overall experience was excellent and we'll be back!

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!
