Best restaurant in Sapulpa!!! Beautiful, vintage building with a great vibe!!! Delicious food...real neon out front. Fun!!!

I totally wanted to revisit this place on a regular day (and not during the Christmas season) so I could up my review. I also wanted to support local businesses during the whole Re-Dewey project. I went for a quick lunch around 11:30. The place wasn't crowded but as I finished up, more larger groups were coming in. First of all, service could not have been better. Total five stars for that. My server was super attentive while she took care of other tables. She told me the special of the day was the red pepper soup. I was tempted but it was a hot day. Instead I went with the Sassy Chicken sandwich off the lunch menu. The bun was toasted perfectly, the sauce was pretty tasty and I loved the pickles. The chicken was nothing special. The fries were above average. I might do the grilled chicken next time and ask for more of the special sauce. The desserts and the ice cream concoctions will bring me back in!!!!

I have been wanting to go here for a little while and really wanted to like it, but had concerns with online reviews. When I arrived in the restaurant and in the upstairs speakeasy, it is visually enticing. However, when I sat down, I had an awkward table leg in between my legs the entire meal. I love the antiques, but the round antique tables are not comfortable. My friend put her coat on a chair and the chair was so lightweight that the chair fell back onto the floor. Our waitress was good, but needed some training as she wasn't able to Fill our drinks or bring us everything that we'd asked for. The food was OK but the brussels sprouts were phenomenal. The chicken fried steak was not hand breaded. It appeared to be frozen. We decided to go to the speakeasy and I love the ambience and the seating but the bartender took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Unfortunately, unless the service changes at this establishment and the food is changed I will not be back. I also feel that the food is overpriced for what it is.

We started with the crispy brussel sprouts which were amazing, & the onion strings which came with a delicious dipping sauce. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which was very good. It was plenty of food to share. I tried the tomato basil soup & it was perfect for a cool Fall night like tonight. The service was good. The restaurant was nice and in my opinion, gave an old saloon feel. We will be back.

This is a cute family-friendly spot right off of Route 66 in the heart of downtown Sapulpa. The space is nice, I would describe the decor as sort of country chic. They have a cozy waiting area inside near the front that is very cute as well as a detached patio in the alleyway next to the restaurant, great for groups. We went during the holidays when the road was closed off for the Sapulpa Chutes. It was great being able to walk up to the restaurant from the main street after checking out the festivities. We arrived early so there wasn't a wait, but it did seem to get busier later in the evening. Parking was easy to find just a short block away. During the holidays they offer a limited holiday menu. I had the smash burger and my partner ordered the chicken piccata. Both were good and well prepared. The burger was a tiny bit on the salty side while the carrots that came with the chicken dish were on the sweeter side, similar to candied yams in flavor. However we both througoutly enjoyed our meal and the prices were very reasonable. There is also a separate bar area where they were serving up holiday drinks as well as an ice cream counter with an assortment of different flavors. We saw several families come in just for ice cream. Overall, a good experience and we would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

The food was excellent! We had the Turkey club with "must-have" fries! Also, the Smash burger was delish! And a side of Brussels sprouts that were above expectations! Presentation was beautiful and in keeping with the restaurant vibe! Loved it! Would go again!

My review is based solely on the ice cream lol. My friend and I stopped by for dessert while exploring the Christmas chutes. I know this isn't solely an ice cream shop, but their ice cream is comparable to other ice cream shops in Tulsa! I got the cherry chocolate flavor. It had a smooth consistency and was delicious! The place also has a cute antique vibe.

During the Route 66 chutes, the street is shut to walking only so you will need to find parking within a couple blocks. I loved the plates the food was served on. There is a variety of photos showing the history of Sapulpa around the restaurant, worth checking out. The bathroom has some lovely old mirrors. The service was friendly and quick given it was a busy chutes weekend, we were lucky and didn't have to wait for a table but all the silverware was dirty but clean silverware was delivered just before our food arrived. The food was average and would rate a 3 but the service was good which is why I rated a 4. My Brussel sprouts were okay I didn't care for the sauce on top. I did like the thicker fries. My friend said her burger was good. The carrots with the chicken packet were a bit too sweet.

What an absolute thrill it was to discover this place in Sapulpa. Downstairs is a restaurant. The steaks look and smell amazing ( we did not eat here on this visit.) Upstairs is an incredible Lounge with Bar and all sorts of artifacts from Africa. Stunning furniture, a Steinway baby grand piano. Wow. Can't wait to visit again.

Eh. Called around 2:30 the day we wanted to have dinner, the hostess was very confused & told us no problem, then turned around & said they were booked solid from 4-9pm. So, we arrived around 4:30 & put our name on the list for 3 people at 6:00. They honored our spot & the actual vibe is so fun! Feels very traditional, with blue walls, lots of hardwood & exposed beam ceilings! The painting & tapestry artwork they've chosen are great. Our waitress seemed very disheveled, kept returning to the table to tell us they were out of things & ended up mixing up items on each of our tickets & had to re-ring them up. The food is fine. We ordered Brussels sprouts, a chicken salad & a burger. Nothing was special & on the whole, I'm not sure we'd visit again. But, it was fun while it lasted.

I have not had any better in Oklahoma or New Mexico. Here it is, authentic red chili sauce, made with dried chilis; the green sauce, made thick and chunky with fresh tasting peppers. These are the real deal. The name of the restaurant doesn't properly portray Andy's food offerings. "Bar and Grill" limited my expectation to bar food: burgers, fries, wings and fried appetizers. A scan of the menu reveals the capabilities of the cook and the wide variety offered. Brunch to dinner, omelets to pancakes, salads to steaks, and from the bar, beer and mixed drinks. And then there are the New Mexican platters. I spotted the red sauce in the pictures! A Steak Burrito for me with both red and green (Christmas Style) and the pork tamales for my wife also Christmas style. Both with beans, rice, a little salad, and pico de gallo for decoration. Exceptionally delicious meals. The sauces did not disappoint. The tamales were well seasoned perfection. And the nice part you get to have it your way. A bite with red sauce, then a bite with green sauce. No disappointment in any savory spicy bite. Need heat? Ask for salsa picante. It is fierce. The owners are Pedro and Bianca. Bianca, a very pleasant and personable young lady who provided attentive friendly service. She was a pleasure to meet. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. It is decorated inside to give a New Mexico ranch house feel. A large outside dining area is available. Andy's Bar and Grill, wonderful food and service. More than just a bar and grill. My top choice for New Mexican style food.

They are known for offering gluten-free food but I am not sure if their whole menu is gluten-free. This was a perfect opportunity to try it out since it was a week day. We arrived for an early dinner so it was not busy at all. It was really quiet inside since it wasn't busy but I can only imagine how fun it is during their busy times. They are not open Saturday and Sunday. It is a small location but easy to find. As we stepped inside we were a little lost as to what to do first, wait for a hostess, find a table and wait to order or walk up to the small counter area to order. My husband asked and we were instructed to order then find a table to sit. I love a good Chicken Fried Steak so I already knew what I was going to order. It came with mashed potatoes and of course, gravy, plus a roll. It would be nice if another veggie was offered to off-set a carb heavy meal. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. He later noticed a very tiny sign next to the register advertising pot roast and was a little disappointed he didn't see that first. Pot roast is his favorite. For dessert, he thought he saw coconut creme pie in the cooler but it was lemon meringue which he is not a fan. He settled on the pecan pie cheesecake that we shared. It was a surprisingly great pie. All of our food was great and exceeded our expectations. We would like to come back again so he can try the pot roast and I will order the CFS again. This restaurant definitely has a small town feel where they know their regulars by name. I would recommend it to friends and family.

For my starter I ordered "Our Nice Little Salad" this beauty was crisp, fresh, and had tomatoes that popped in your mouth and bursted with flavor. The in-house croutons had that perfect buttery crunch, spiced pecans added a unique boldness and the homemade ranch was thick and creamy. I will say I had to ask three times for ranch. I just kept waiting. For our main courses we had the bone-in pork chop. Thick, juicy, and properly rested paired with red mashed potatoes.... Which were very good. The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way. Shrimp were big, tender and juicy. Unfortunately my rotisserie chicken.... was very dry. I kept choking because of that. I was unable to eat it, that was disappointing. As far as atmosphere... very warm lighting, intimate feels, candle lit, steady energy, attentive staff. I was deciding between MisFits & another location so I texted a friend to make the final decision. Long story short, she chose MisFits & we met around 1pm. From what I've been recommended, my/our experience was pretty aligned with what I had heard. Random summer Thursday. Perfect for a good lunch. I was familiar with where MisFits was but never walked inside. Considering that other downtown locations either are on a one-way street, are in busier areas or have less parking availability, the location is relatively convenient. I parked right in front of the restaurant & entered an enamoring space. The entrance leads into a hallway with the host toward the end. Once past the "host hall," the interior is 80% modern, 20% retro. Filled with booths, clear lanes and a good mix of seating options. The lighting is perfectly balanced with large windows for natural light to be let in with other fixtures filling the gaps. We sat in the large "L" shaped booth & our server was with us almost immediately (there were only 2 other tables sat at the time). Of all the menus I've observed, MisFits may have the most efficient offerings ever. There's not tons of variety but it didn't feel limited either. Classic American Favorites, Only. While our server was wrapping up with the other 2 tables, I reluctantly decided on the 1/2 Sandwich (The Wifey) 1/2 Soup (Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup) with Sweet Potato Fries while my friend ordered the B.B. Burger & normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly, less than 10mins after placing the order. The chicken sandwich was good but I was more surprised at how hearty & flavorful the soup was! It made me want to order a full order of nachos. My friend stated that her burger was good except the bacon was thicker & chewier than she would have liked (but she's picky). We conversed for another 20-30mins afterwards but I think we were both satisfied with our meals. Overall, I believe that MisFits has almost the perfect name: it's located downtown but still seems to be one of the more underrated restaurants in the district. If you want above-average American food & don't want to pay above average prices, this is the place to go. I'd be happy to revisit in the evening to see the full luminary experience.
