Today is my son's first day of the Keystone South Camp…read more Maybe it is too early to write a review, but there is reason why I wrote a review now. First of all, my son really enjoyed his first day of the camp. Today he tried Archery which he had wanted to learn since last year and finally today he tried &enjoyed even it was too heavy than he expected. He said that he couldn't decide which activities he would do tomorrow, too many interesting activities to choose. However, this is not my main reason to write a review. This morning I had a transportation problem. I checked the webpage about the bus pick up location and time. But it was not updated new location &time. so I missed the bus and called the camp. Meg answered the phone. And she didn't hesitate. She apologized about the mistake and drove right away personally to pick up my boy. I was so impressed. Also I got an apology email from Mike, the camp founder, and he updated his website already. Their action to solve the problem is excellent.

The fun starts at the bus pick up and at the end of the day your kiddo gets home happy and tired. The staff here really goes above and beyond and puts so much effort into what they do. There are weekly special events and fun themes that make the kids excited to come back every day. Crazy hair day and tie dyeing were favorites in our house this summer! Next summer our family will plan our vacation around the Keystone schedule because our daughter doesn't want to miss a day!

We get funded through San Diego Regional Center and she was really great in accommodating our request and even offered an additional week of Spring Break camp because our school district had a different timeline than the other coastal schools. Coach Brooks and Coach Zora introduced our kid to lots of fun activities such as building forts, tide pooling, building and flying kites, hiking the slot at Annie's Canyon, and even encountering rattlesnakes. This was such a great outdoor activity for our kid in a safe and supportive environment. Being an only child, his exposure to interacting with multi-aged kids has been a tremendous experience. Thank you, Coastal Kiddos, for helping us build one of our child's best core memories!

As a volunteer, I've learned so much about taking care of horses so that they're well cared for and loved. I've also learned a lot about horse rescue and what it takes to maintain a reliable, trustworthy network of people that saves horses, as often as they can, because the horses go to good homes. It takes time and money to do all this good work so be sure to donate to this non-profit charitable organization.

There was like 8 kids there total.. and the lifeguards keep screaming at the kids on their bullhorns. This is during work hours, so I called and asked if I can reserve to play pickball either in the evening or on a weekend day because there is no open play on the weekend and they said no. Most recreations center have open play on the weekend so that people who work can also join in. I would appreciate a revision of the open play schedule or the option to reserve a time to play so that people who work a 9-5 can be active as well. This seems like it's catered to people who are retired or don't work a 9-5.

We love the Summer Camps! We also love this location. They have many to choose from. For example,…read moremy son just finished a Harry Potter camp at the Mango Drive location at Del Mar Hills Elementary. The counselors are great and sweet. He had a blast. I love that their camps go from 9-3 with an added $25 for the whole week, you can drop as early as 7 or pick up by 6. They are engaged and have so much fun. There is such an assortment of different camps to choose from also. They have a great ratio of counselors to kids too so it doesn't get out of control. I prefer the Adventure camps to just regular camp days. I feel like because there isn't a "classroom theme" they have more freedom and leeway and it is more chaotic. At least last year that's how it was. There were a couple things that happened and I just felt that they are not watched as closely. We will see because e=we have five of those coming up. I'll report back.
