I had one zone that for years was not working properly. I called 3 companies. The first was the orginal installer back in 1998. They said too many heads in the one zone, I said you are the ones that designed and installed the system. They said maybe water pressure dropped over the years. So they removed one of the heads in that zone. It helped but not 100%. They said it was the best it would get our water pressure must have dropped. The only way to correct it would be to install a pump to build up pressure. I called company 2 they looked and said it was a tree root issue, do to the neighbors trees. Did not have the tool with them to check were the blockage was. Said they would need to come back. Instead they called me with a quoted of $2000 to run new lines. I asked what about looking for the blockage? They said it would be a waste of time. Not satisfied I called John's sprinkler system 708.349.3522. They came out worked on the system for about 2 hours. The first thing the techs (Julio and Jeff) found was a head was cracked. The system worked but not 100%. They looked and found a leak in the line by another speaker head. They dug it up and repaired it. The pressure is so good now it was spraying the house, the neighbors yard and our shed. They adjusted all heads and spray patterns. The system works like new. At the time, I suspected that something was wrong with the system (I just purchased this home), so I asked about potential repairs and and was told that if the system could not be started, an estimate for the repairs would be provided. The technician came out and, after installing the RPZ, stated that the system was indeed in need of a repair, and that an estimate would be sent to me via email. That was on May 29th, 2026. After over 5 weeks of calling and emailing, and being promised that someone would call me back, I have not been provided any estimate or been in contact with anyone other than the receptionist. The receptionist finally stated that "if" I needed a new RPZ, then they would charge me $1200. I paid another company to come out and take a look at the system, they stated that there were no issues preventing my system from running and that nothing was wrong with the RPZ. My system is now functional but no thanks to Aqua Designs. I sent them this information and have been promised several times that a manager would call me to discuss a refund. Still no call. It is impossible to get in contact with any management for this company, and they clearly do not care as long as they get your money.

Moreno's Irrigation installed a lawn sprinkler system for us in April 2018. We received quotes…read morefrom four (4) reputable companies in the Northern Illinois area and Moreno's was the least expensive (by several hundred dollars). Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about lawn sprinklers and was able to walk around our yard and figure out (in his head) how many sprinkler heads (rotators and spray heads) we would need to effectively water our lawn and flower beds. Afterwards, Carlos and his wife, Maria, sat down and prepared a written proposal on the spot! Most other companies got back to me several days later with a quote... Carlos and Maria were very pleasant to deal with and we could tell they really cared about the customers. They repeatedly thanked me and my wife for the "opportunity" to do work for us, knowing that we had many options when it came to our irrigation project, but ultimately chose them. They were very responsive to emails and phone calls during the planning stages (securing a permit through the Village on our behalf, etc.) When it came time for installation, they hoped to have the entire project done within one day, but it took longer than expected... Maria brought us homemade tamales (just because) and they were absolutely delicious! The weather didn't cooperate for about a week (freezing cold and rain), but the following week they came and finished the job. This time Maria brought us Mexican pork and vegetables, which were amazing! What customer service! After the installation was complete, Carlos and Maria walked around our property, explaining how each of the watering zones were configured and the amount of time each zone would be watered for. We had a WiFi controlled installed as part of our packaged and Maria directed me to a YouTube video which cleared explained the configuration for the initial setup. We have had our sprinkler system running for over three (3) months now and absolutely love it!! It has been working perfectly, with no issues, and we by far has the greenest, lushest lawn in the neighborhood! After two weeks you couldn't even tell the lawn had been dug up with the vibratory plow to install the hoses and sprinkler heads! By the way, most of the other estimates were quoted for 15-20 more sprinkler heads than what Carlos installed for us...which I think would've been way over-kill! All areas of our lawn and flower beds are appropriately watered and I have no idea why we would've needed that many sprinkler heads. I would hands-down choose Carlos and Maria from Moreno's Irrigation for your lawn sprinkler needs. They are a hard-working family who genuinely care about their customer's satisfaction!
