They were going to be in my location the end of the next week so to save some on trip charge costs I decided to take the slot they had in my area. Yet never reached out to initiate an update call, I answered their email and Text questions , sent pictures etc. Long story short... they were contacted Fri/Sat & Sunday about time windows... same answer... well give you an hours notice. Called them Sunday evening about 6:00 ...well give are still trying... just had a lot of problems...we had to leave the next day so I told them thanks for nothing... They just come on your property without telling you. It's more almost been a year! At this point I'm highly considering legal action! Save yourself the headaches!

We have had a multitude of issues with getting our solar panels up and running. They often do not show up for commitments, their build quality is cheap (they use rubber conduit instead of outdoor metal conduit). They have put multiple leaks in our roof and we've had to work a lot on getting them repaired. They have gone through multiple employees since we started working with them. It's taken 8 MONTHS to get the panels turned on. There are wires strung all over our roof and brackets left on the roof where we had to have them move the panels due to excessive leaking in our sun room. (If you look at other companies that install solar, they don't have conduit cables all over their roof.) They often do not answer the phone and do not respond to messages or emails. Their crew members talk about how unorganized their home office is. It's just a MESS. The MTE inspector said they often hear horror stories like mine with this company. I'm surprised they're still in business to be honest. We have incredible buyers remorse and they have a clause in their contract that we would have to pay 30% ($15K) to have them removed.

The rep came at the beginning of January and sold us a very large unit that was supposed to cover our whole house. The men came at the end of January and installed the panels in our front yard. Or should I say half installed the panels. They never came back to finish their part of the installation. Once the panels are in your yard or on your roof, Solar Titan gets its money from the bank and you start paying. This is where the fun starts. It is almost September. I have been paying for this system since April. I also pay my whole electric bill. I have had many crews come in to do work on the system after you remind the company that your system is not up and running. The crews only do half the work and leave. You spend another month or longer waiting for them to come and finish. I have had my water line cut by this company and the pipe coming from the panels to my house was the longest route possible because the crew gets paid per foot. So we lose power from the panels along the route. We were told this system would cover my whole house. When the crew put in our panel, they only cover the living room and kitchen. His supervisor told him to only hook up those 2 rooms. Both bedrooms and bathrooms will still be covered by LaFollette Utilities. I will always have an electric bill. Scam on that part of the sales presentation. We know exactly what part of the house is covered by the solar panels because the circuit box has overheated 5 times and took out power to that part of the house. One of these times was when we were on vacation and we lost the contents of our refrigerator. In the fridge was my husbands Insulin. Lost 3 months worth of the drug. We have called for service and all they do is not call back or send someone to reset the box. Not solve the problem of when it gets very hot outside the box overheats. Well, we had our first inspection and we did not pass. That was at the beginning of July. We finally had someone come this morning to fix the problem. Of Course, in the Solar Titan expertise, the man did not know exactly why he was here, no parts to fix the problem and did nothing to answer the problem of the overheating box. I am still waiting to pass one of 3 inspections before I get a partial solar house. Like I said lawn ornaments for now. I pray I get this finished before Christmas. Avoid this company unless you like nightmares. They promise you the moon and deliver nothing. Find another company that has integrity and proud of their workmanship.

Recently we had a very dangerous situation that had resulted from our meter box being moved by the installers of our siding. The metal sleeve housing the wires into the box had not been secured properly and was literally falling apart! Eddie, the boss at Sitara, came by and checked it out, giving me a very fair estimate that he did finish the work within. He was friendly, kind and professional. He had excellent insights about the situation and helped me to schedule KUB to come and shut off the power to do the work. His 2 assistants, Chris and David, were also really nice and very industrious. They got the work done quickly and efficiently, and the price was extremely reasonable. I will most certainly use Sitara Electric for any future electrical needs and I highly recommend these ethical and excellent professionals!
