Bought the Ariel pool cleaner in July 2022. Aug of 2024 it no longer turns on. I emailed and called the customer service number only to find out the company that sold and supported them are out of business. Now I am the proud owner of an expensive, defunct pool floater. I have had every single unit that this company has put out. Been a customer for over 15 years. The newest unit Ariel is horrible. It stops working every 3 months and I've had 4 units in one year sent to me. Now the 4th unit does not move and hugs the wall. Trying to get them to send me another one. I loved the old version it worked extremely well. Why change something that was great to a piece of shit model. Customer service is horrible you can't get anyone on the phone. Good luck if they rely to your first email. You have to send 10 to get a response. read more

I love the Solar Breeze when it works. I had my first cleaner about 6 months and it stopped working. The company was very responsive and replaced the unit. The replaced solar breeze worked fantastic and kept the pool very clean for about 6 months. This time I have not been able to talk with ANYONE from solar breeze. The only email was that the replaced unit had no warranty. I have been calling and emailing since June 4th with no response. I guess customer service is not working out for this company at this time. The Solar-Breeze NX pool skimmers are super helpful and easy to care for. And just as importantly, the people there are great to work with. They're very helpful on the phone the few times I have called for assistance. If a part is needed, they are prompt and always follow through. Don't misunderstand me here, calling for assistance is not something that has been all that necessary over the last few years with my NX. After 3 years, I did need to replace the rechargeable battery, not totally unexpected... It's simple yet effective design does not lend itself to needing much attention requiring calling for help. Basic care of the unit will provide years of service. With out reservation, I would recommend the NX and doing business with Solar-Breeze. read more

We purchased the Ariel last summer. It took a few months of waiting before it finally arrived but seem to work great. The first time we put it in the water this year one of the motors didn't work. I have been e-mailing them and leaving messages on their website to no avail. All I have received is a canned auto response. I am going to call them today but am not hopeful. I went through their email support process to report the issue. it took multiple request and several follow up emails before they finally responded and shipped me anew unit. now this unit quit working after 4 months and the same result. The BEST pool accessory you will ever purchase!!! We have lots and lots of trees and in the spring the pollen is unbelievable and the same for the leaves in the fall! Do not purchase the Ariel...it is garbage. I have owned 3 of the older generations which worked great. Since the company sold or went internationally it is junk. I waited 4 months to receive it. After a month the battery performance was terrible. I live in Arizona. Sun all the time. Month 8 the wheels and paddles on rear stopped working. It took an act of God to get a replacement sent out. And even worse the paperwork to send bad unit back took 7 emails before a RMA was provided. read more

This is the worst company to get a hold and any help with. i called in and get an answer service, I explain to them that I would like to get a quote on overhaul of my solar breeze. I get a confirming email that the message was sent on . After 4 days I call back and was told that I should wait 3-5 business days and that they were sending in another request. This time I didn't even get a confirming email. It has been a week called back and still getting the same run around. My thoughts do not buy this product tell your friends and family. Love the Solar Breeze Our daughter named the robot Roxie and she just putters about picking up whatever leaves she finds. It really is a Roomba for the pool - except with solar power! She hardly ever runs out of juice, and when she does she just waits in the sun like Wall-E to recharge. We were even pleasantly surprised when she had an issue with her motor. The folks at the company fixed her up (were great about the warranty) and shipped her both ways for only $25. She's back and working great. Hope she lasts forever, but will buy another when she decides to retire. Great product. Highly recommended. read more

I love my Solar Breeze NX pool skimmers (2)! I had one & wore it out after 3 years of continuous use so I decided to get a new one when the company was having a special sale. I was turning in the older one for recycling only to find for a nominal fee the company could refurbish it. So now we have 2! I know a lot of people scoff at the price and say things like "that is why we have teenagers, to skim the pool." Well, my teen doesn't do nearly the job my Solar Breeze NXers do! Our pool gets hit by pine needles and eucalyptus leaves. It can be a mess most days with Arizona winds and I get very discouraged - especially during monsoon season. These machines are worth their weight in gold and the price. Our pool stays clean and we run the pump less and use fewer chemicals. Customer service has also been fantastic! Kristy and all the folks at Solar Breeze have been very responsive when we had tray issues with the 2nd unit; no questions asked. I highly endorse the Solar Breeze NX. read more

We live in the country, surrounded with lots of trees and bushes which makes keeping a pool clean a challenge. With a bottom sweeper that gathered waterlogged leaves and twigs, we had to net out surface trash sometimes 3x a day. Could not keep up with trash during the wind. Friend recommended a Solar-Breeze surface sweeper, so we bought one. What a great improvement! We rarely surface sweep, and the bottom sweeper doesn't need its trap cleaned daily.
