After another pool company incorrectly refinished my pool by cementing in my In-floor cleaning system pop-ups while changing the PebbleTec and never came out to fix their mistake, Nick came out and immediately when I called and saved the day! It was extremely difficult work to chisel out and remove my pop-ups (which were cemented in by the other company) and took 5 visits to completely fix all 19 pop-ups, but Nick had a great attitude and ensured me that he will get my pop-ups working correctly again. I honestly thought that it was hopeless to even try to get the pop-ups working correctly again but Nick pleasantly surprised me. The work was completed without disturbing the new PebbleTec finish. He never gave up on my pool and always seemed very happy to help with pride for his work. He treated my pool with professionalism and competence as if he was working on his own pool. I was referred to Amergency Services from my Mom since Nick is her pool guy and she was very happy with his weekly pool maintenance. A month later I was having problems with my sand filter and once again Nick came out immediately to fix the problem and was extremely knowledgeable and is reasonably priced. I called Nick at Amergency - I had a problem with an in-floor cleaning system. Several people I contacted first didn't want to deal with it. Nick came out and rebuilt the motor assembly - that needed to be done, but didn't fix the problem. Nick stayed with it, coming out multiple times (and several times not even charging for the trip or time) and even brought the manufacturer's rep out to help figure out the problem. They stuck with it until the problem was fully fixed. Nick charges a fair price for his services and did a really nice job. I chose this service because it was supposed to be $85 a month, chemicals included. Only never the chemicals he needs to add to your pool which will add another $125. to the monthly fee. And I don't think he knows what he's doing as he turned on the water feature (why?) when running the filter, didn't increase the filter run time for the hotter weather, and never did get our pool clear. It remained blue, but cloudy. NOT impressed. And he didn't come for the last week's service which he'd been paid for. read more

We were tired of maintaining our own pool and monsoon had blown some dirt in the bottom we couldn't get out so I did some searching and found Nick. He came quickly, showed up on time and got the bottom of the pool cleaned up nicely. So we hired him for weekly cleaning. In the meantime we had a problem with out salt cell that we had had before and three different pool guys before Nick told me it needed replaced. I told them I thought it was a fuse and no one would entertain that idea. Nick listened and did some research and reached out to the maker of my salt cell and agreed that it was not the cell but something to do with the box not the cell. He figured it out, got the part and fixed it. For $80, a salt cell is probably $600. I can't be more happy with his effort to fix the problem instead of taking the easy way out and trying to get me to spend a ton of money. He does a nice job cleaning everything and he's a nice guy.
