They broke roof tiles, then took tiles from another part of the roof to replace them with, leaving a row of empty tiles on my roof. They did not even tell me. 18 months later I found out by an inspector who was checking fitness for sale. Bare in mind these are 5 lbs. concrete tiles, so they cannot blow off. Six months earlier they sent us a micro inverter to replace an original that burned out, but never came out here to do the work Customer Service is non-existent. No commitment to backing up there work, shoddy work, unreachable for help. My house was brand new, I am the only owner, no one has been on the roof but them. I moved in March of 2017, they put the panels on Jan 2020. To anyone considering this collective, please harken to my story. Please look everywhere else first. I've had the worst experience with this company. The sales person isn't there anymore, project managers are all gone, the electrical company they sub-contracted with did a second rate job. They punctured my new roof, broke my tiles, didn't secure my electrical line, didn't size my main panel upgrade correctly, don't address concerns and keep sending me bills. The worst. Referred by a family friend was promised a zero true up bill we ended up with one almost 800$ because they sized my system wrong and won't make it right I'm very disappointed in the costumer service with Zach everytime I call it takes him at least 2 weeks to call back or I don't receive a call at all. After years of contemplation, I finally went solar. I had a great experience working with Adrian J. (209-224-6599) and his team to get the project done. I had been approached by many people and received quotes from other companies as we all have but was never comfortable with the major decision. I finally felt like I was able to make an educated decision knowing the pros and cons while working with Adrian. While SEC is a well established sizable company, I felt like I was working with a small personal company and I certainly recommend them to others trying to navigate the solar question. The system I got is placed on a rack and requires no drilling into the roof. This is a huge plus and I had never even heard of such a product until getting a quote from SEC.
