Sent a text to Mike who was at our house same day and our power back on within 15 minutes of his arrival and no charges incurred because it's part of the service we receive from purchasing our solar. They have been amazing to work with and even service our other solar from the company that went out of business a year after we bought it. Wish I had known about them from the get go. This is the only company I would recommend to anyone I know for solar.

Every contact I had with the company was responsive and helpful. There were no delays. I worked with 3 people on our solar purchase and install and all followed through and were quite friendly. The crew and all of the people at United solar Electric were very responsive and professional. I would, and will do business with them again, (adding an additional battery). PG&E was a problem. PG&E was very slow with providing PTO (permission To Operate). We did not receive PTO until end of May 2026, over 6 months from the date when system was operational. PG&E will need to upgrade transformer (December ???) before we can send greater that 2000 watts back to the system. Right now, we have conditional permission to operate, limiting output to PG&E to 2.2 KW. To United Solar Electric's credit, they were with us the entire time dealing with PG&E and were just as irate with PG&E as we were. Thank you, United Solar Electric!

We were interested in solar for our 1940s home and provided a deposit in good faith. However, after further inspection of our roof and the overall project viability, we decided not to move forward. When we requested our deposit back--before any equipment was ordered or installation began--the company initially refused, claiming it was 'passed' the point of a refund. It was a high-pressure situation where we felt they were trying to lock us into a contract we weren't comfortable with. While we did eventually receive our deposit back after pushing the issue, the initial refusal to return funds for work not performed was a major red flag. Homeowners should be very careful with the fine print here. If you are looking for a company that values transparency and customer comfort over just 'closing the deal,' I would suggest looking elsewhere. We're glad we didn't get stuck with them and are instead putting that money into improvements that actually fit our home.

That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. So even though I had told the City of Lodi to not transfer my utilities or shut them off. They did so. After that I had to have the city of Lodi come turn them back on. Sadly after they were turned back on. I still had no power. I was told that I needed to contact an electrician. After reaching out to about 5 different electricians and then they wanted an arm and a leg. I gave my last phone call to A&A electric and I had explained to Paul the same exact thing that I had been telling every other company. Paul who I assume is the owner of A&A electric. Explained to me that since I live in a complex that I would need to go outside to the meters and there would be a breaker that needs to be flipped back on. Everyone that I spoke to didn't bother to tell me this. They wanted me to make an appointment for them to come out to look and see what the problem was. And then charge me an arm and a leg! Along with quotes for same day service call costing me over $400 dollars! I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have someone like Paul there to help me out and not just wanting to make a buck! Old school concern and care. It was over 90 degrees and I hadn't had any power since 8am so I was almost in tears by this time. I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. He also walked me through: Proper panel selection within voltage and amperage limits Safe string configurations and series wiring How to maximize roof space while staying within code Permitting requirements I hadn't been told about before On top of that, Carlos identified critical code and safety requirements that no one else mentioned: Bollards required in the garage to protect battery units Correct battery placement to maintain required clearance from doors and entrances Heat detector requirements for battery installations in a garage These are all things that would have caused inspection failures later -- and Carlos caught them immediately. He spent well over an hour with me, climbed onto my roof to check for obstructions, inspected battery placement, reviewed wiring paths, and answered every question in detail without ever rushing me. What truly sealed the deal was how efficient and transparent the pricing process was. Carlos was able to turn around a detailed quote very quickly, and when I received it, I was honestly surprised -- it was a significant amount lower than every other quote I received, even though his evaluation was by far the most thorough. After needing to create some privacy from a neighboring property, we needed fast-growing trees and shrubs. I called Juan over the weekend, explained the project, and sent him some pictures. He immediately understood what we were looking to accomplish and said he could take care of it that week. From that first conversation, he was responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. They installed a completely new sprinkler system with a commercial-grade watering system and fertilizer ports, removed old debris and stumps, prepared the entire area, and even repurposed rocks we already had on the property to create a beautiful border around the new landscaping. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and communication. He sent pictures and videos throughout the day and kept me updated on every decision. At one point, after laying everything out, he felt the design needed one additional tree to balance the space, so he went and picked one up. That kind of attention and pride in the finished product is rare. We expected this to be about a week-long project, but Juan and his team completed everything in one day and it was done beautifully. I recently had All Air come in to check my HVAC systems (they installed them all over the years) in preparation for the coming summer. Service Technician Vihn arrived on time and thoroughly checked all systems and found no problems with the system equipment. He then checked my air vents and found the system was sending far less of what is supposed to come out of the ducts. He assessed that they needed to be cleaned. Vihn recommended some options to include having an Aeroseal cleaning and sealing done, something that only All Air does and not other HVAC companies. If you don't know what Aeroseal does, click here. www.aeroseal.com So, I chose to go with Aeroseal. All Air technicians Jordan and Joseph, trained in using Aeroseal, arrived on time. Their courtesy, professionalism, dependability, and customer service skills were exceptional. After all the ducts were cleaned and the sealant was done, Jordan and Joseph tested the ducts and confirmed that all the ducts were now working at the specifications they were supposed to be at, and they showed me those results. I was impressed. My savings? No more HVAC systems working overtime because of dirty ducts. Best of all, I now pay less to PG&E. My satisfaction? I am sold on All Air. I have used All Air for along time for HVAC and Solar installations and service. I have always been pleased with their personnel, and their quality of work and commended them in Yelp postings. Well, I needed service recently on a very hot day when our AC all of a sudden stopped working. I was very concerned as my wife has serious medical issues, I'm her caregiver 24/7, and my hope was that All Air would be available to come right away or else we would have to leave the house soon and go where it was cool and social distance as well. I called All Air, spoke with Jackie who said that she would get someone to come right away. Sure enough, Shawn arrives soon after and in no time got the AC working again. Both Jackie and Shawn's genuine concern for my wife's needs to get cooled down ASAP was amazing. Their sense of urgency got me a little emotional. Just thanking them wasn't enough. So, here I am once again sending another Yelp message to commend All Air and their quality people, their work, and their concern for those they serve. Thanks again Jackie and Shawn. I highly recommend All Air. They are the real deal just like in years past when I needed them, when their people and their quality of work were worthy of being commended. During the hottest season of the year and heat wave; we first went through a company in Tracy and had them come out three times without having our air conditioner fixed in a month period. We finally, decided that I would call the company that had the magnet attached to our phone book. What a pleasant call booking our appointment with All-Air: no hassle, no expensive weekend appointments. Molly was the friendliest secretary I have dealt with in a very long time. Jared, the service technician we received promptly that weekend, is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and took his time to completely inform us of the options we had. He made sure we chose the system that suited our family needs. Why go through any other company and wait for rebates when your price out the door will be the same, without the hassle of mail-in rebates, cash cards, or extra services that All-Air will also provide. The technicians Brian and Preston were also terrific at their job of installing the unit and making sure their job was professional and ensure that we received everything we were promised. I called and the lady that answered was very nice. She was able to schedule a service call for the very next day. The service technician, Ray, came out the next day and literally parked diagonal in my driveway and partially on my lawn to park his truck under what little shade my neighbors tree was providing. Then when we answered the door and said hello, he responded with "AC?" No hello, or I'm with all air, or I'm here to service your AC unit. Totally unprofessional. Proceeded to check the AC unit, and laid out our three options. He would give no definite answers or professional advice. He kept saying " No Guarantees" After every sentence. The cheapest option was to add Freon for $900, then add Freon with a dye kit to locate leak for well over $1,000. I called another local company the next day. I was scheduled for same day service and their service technician was great. Gave me an honest, professional opinion and added Freon with dye kit for 1/3 the cost of the all air quote. I definitely wouldn't consider spending the $99 service charge to all air with them doing nothing to help me a waste. I know now to never use them again and never recommend them to anyone. read more

It is a Saturday and it is 95 outside. My family comes in from playing outside and we flip on the a/c. It turns on for about 5 min. & then it shuts down. Check the furnace and its the 3 amp fuse again. I have had the original installer of my a/c (starts with a B from Lodi) come out 4 different times for the same issue. I call All Air as company B does not do service work on the weekends. Phillp called me right back and was at my place in hour like he said he would. He did some trouble shooting and showed me some issues that needs to be addressed. You would of thought Company B would of pointed it out since they had been here 4 times in the last ten months. He found the problem was shoddy work. The wire that co. B ran from the thermo to the furnace and had already replace once was rubbing against sheet metal and cutting into the wire thus making the 3 amp fuse blow. Phillp corrected the problem and vola my a/c is working on this hot day. He was so awsome he sold me on joining the company service club. He was easy to talk to and gave me his honest opinion. My heating/air conditioning system had been teetering on the brink of collapse for some time when I called All-Air last Friday afternoon. Jared came over that evening, and confirmed that my system was about to bite the dust. He also pointed out a leak and corrosion in my water heater. I decided to go ahead with a complete new system, including the water heater. The next morning, Saturday, at 7:00 a.m. Preston and Rick showed up and got started. They finished in a very timely manner. I am ecstatic with the results, from the first contact with Jared to the incredible work of the installers. The guys kept me apprised of progress along the way to be sure that I understood all that was happening. This weekend I realized how much more efficient the new system is than the old one! Our initial visit was with Rick and Jared, We were so pleased with them that we closed the deal within the week of meeting them. I couldn't believe that it took Rick and Preston 2 days from start to finish to install a new heating and cooling system (we had no existing duct work and our old system was not working). Their work was fast and perfect, and we are very happy with our new system. I was really impressed with their professionalism and the respect that they showed us. He explained my problem quickly and was able to get my system running fast. My dog chewed a wire in the back yard which caused the system to stop working. When it was time to pay I noticed the service fee was half the amount quoted on the phone. When I asked Phillip about the price he said he had a coupon that he automatically applied. December 2016 our heater was not putting our heat consistently. We called All Aie in the morning and Phillip was out there that afternoon. Our heater/air conditioner were 22 years old with several problems. Phillip gave us several choices and recommendations. We chose to have a representative come and give us information on replacing the unit. JC was complete, through and a good listener giving us several choices. Without any delay Preston and Jerry came and installed our new unit. Each one of these men were personable,well trained, efficient and knowledgeable. Every person at All Air was wonderful, helpful and courteous. They worked quietly and fast. Bob was our first contact and he explained all the pertinent parts to our system makeover; why we wanted and needed the system he recommended and what we could expect each step of the way. Kahanu the GM was on it and dropped by throughout the project. Johnny the crew chief kept things running smoothly and on track. Eddie was great and his knowledge of the system gave us great confidence that we were in good hands. Jonathan did magic up in the attic installing the ducks and securing the vents. There are never enough reviews for Lodi businesses so I thought I would do my best do All Air a favor. I have been using another company for a atleast ten years and when I called them last week there number was no longer in service so I started asking a few friends from church. A good friend of a friend recommended All Air. I had seen them around in the past. i called them and I was able to have someone come out right away. I was very pleased with the price and the job. Hands down the best HVAC company around! From the initial appointment to financing & installation. Vinh came out to see our AC unit and Furnace. Gave me an estimate and walked me through their financing options. He explained everything and was very transparent. The three installers that came out (Jesus, Matt, and Jordan) were awesome! They were very professional in answering all of my questions and explaining the installation process of both our AC & Furnace. Then we had Arturo and Matt come out to do the Aeroseal process. My 19 year old AC unit wasn't working for 2 days. Ray came out and fixed it in a matter of minutes!!! Didn't say I needed a new one took the time to fix it even though it is old! He took the time to clean everything and check my heater and make sure I was ready for winter. No other problems any where. So happy to have the air back and running so quick!! My ac went out on a Thursday they came the following day on time did his quote told me they would have to order the part but they would get it as fast as possible said they would call Monday to set up a time once they know when they will get the part...... Not only did they call me Monday but they set my appointment for for Monday they had my part faster than estimated for a decent price had my ac back by monday evening.......... I highly recommend! Professional, efficient, informative, and HONEST! My heat went out, I was sure it was going to be major parts, replacements, and repairs. Instead, Jared Swift (my now go to guy for HVAC issues) made some minor adjustments and the heater is working beautifully. The original installers from another company did not install our heater properly which explains why we always had high bills and other issues.... Do not hesitate to call All-Air, and if Jared Swift shows up as your technician...all the better! read more

These guys were great ! We have been using them to do our routine maintenance since we moved here in Galt in 2009. Definitely want to support the smaller local companies. Our AC compressor was making a loud noise and I immediately thought I'm $crewed. It was out of warranty but because All Air called the manufacturer explained that our unit is only 6yrs old and he had service records, the manufacturer warrantied it which saved me $1000 !!!! While I believe the owner/manager intends to deliver high-quality service, the actual workmanship during the installation of our HVAC system was alarmingly negligent. Shortly after installation, an electrician who came to install a chandelier discovered multiple beer bottles in the attic near the HVAC system. Given that the HVAC team was the only one with access to the attic after we had moved in and our inspector had been in the attic with us --and that we had noticed missing beers from our fridge--the correlation was clear. When I raised this concern with the company, it was dismissed outright, with a firm denial rather than an investigation. The electrician also noted that the HVAC system's power had been improperly run to a 220-volt line in our garage, which he described as "illegal and definitely not to code." Again, when we raised this issue, the company was defensive and only briefly mentioned a potential fix, which was never completed. The problems continued: we noticed the HVAC system was underperforming in certain areas of the house. Upon hiring another company to inspect, we discovered: The HVAC zones were incorrectly set up. The unit was operating at only 30% capacity. The plenum was torn, meaning we were inadvertently heating and cooling our attic. Alarmingly, someone had written "F this install" on one of the rafters. Due to the severity of these issues, we are filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing legal action. In summary: this company's work is substandard, unsafe, and unprofessional. Hiring them will likely lead to serious frustration, additional expenses, and potential hazards. Avoid at all costs.

On average I found it was at least half of what Sierra wanted to charge me. The need: Last winter I had gotten several quotes for replacing my aging furnace and adding AC. Most of the quotes were in the $14k range, with one quote dropping down to the $8k range. These were all homewise quotes (seems to be standard) I just wasn't ready at the time, since I needed my electrical panel replaced. The Draw: Saw the "$20,000? No way." ad on Facebook. Saw other ads saying, "Get it online just by answering a few questions!" Problem is you never get an instant quote. Instead you get someone calling your number in the next few days. I figured it'd be in range of the other quotes. I told the ladies on the phone what I would be looking to pay. Pulling the wool: Well besides no "instant online quote" someone was dispatched to my house. They were pleasant enough, but they kept trying to gaslight me. It's not easy to gaslight me. I know what these things cost from my day career in IT and Facilities work. I've had to get this type of equipment installed several times. I know the approximate cost of materials, labor, and what it *should* cost. The unexpected: Despite all of this expertise the guy sent to my house presented me with an offensively bad quote. They wanted to tear out all of my duct work, replacing it with flex duct. (Just last year it was camera inspected and I was shown it was fine) to the tune of $5,000. The Condenser, air handler, and furnace was $13k (as shown in the quote screenshot) The Gaslighting: This is where things too a big turn. I plainly told him, "We are not at the same place here, I'll have to pass" and I would expect at least some level of negotiation. "Well, I can drop the price to X" Instead it was "It's only $250 a month!" with no explanation of the terms/number of payments. $250@mo for 52 months? $250@mo until the balance is paid? My wife and I both have credit scores in the 800's. We're very good with our finances. "I had a guy quote me $8k last year" was passed off as impossible. No, it's not impossible in the dead of winter when AC installers are starved for work. Dear Reader, just google these components: 1-3 Ton 14.3 SEER2 R-32 single stage condenser unit-Goodman GLXS4BA3610 1-3 Ton 14.3 SEER2 R-32 upflow/horizontal evaporator coil-Aspen DE36D4D175R530 1-80% 60,000 BTU Up flow/horizontal single stage Low Nox gas furnace-Goodman GR9S800604BX Add up the price. It's not $13k. I also question the expertise here, as Low Nox is no longer acceptable for installs. BAAQMB has mandated Ultra Low Nox. Bad price, gaslighting, unnecessary work, and lacked knowledge of local regulations. I dodged a bullet. **Edit** Shortly after this review I got a call from Sierra, arguing over my review. I just hung up, then got a harassing text stating this was over "feelings" before blocking the number. The gist of my experience is there was expectations that were setup by the ads that were not met by the prices, expertise, or lack of professionalism.
