I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. In a business of fraught with fly by night companies, Infinity Solar is a true gem. Solar done right with integrity, highest expertise, and exceptional, prompt service when called on. She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

My biggest issue is trust because most of these company will try to just make a sale without educating you or making sure that the set up will satisfy your need at the best price. When I spoke to Robert, he didn't seem desperate for a sale but wanted to help a person that he didn't know learn more about solar panels and inverters. After I was educated, I still reach out to all the big companies to compare their products and prices. Most of them are using basic panels and cheap inverters that has low warranty on them. Also must companies quoted me 2-3k over the price of Robert's set up. I know what I want and I told the other companies this, some couldn't add extra panels or get the panels and inverters set up the way I wanted at the price that I wanted. I went back a forth with these companies and they still couldn't beat Robert's price with blackdot. So I agreed to have it set up at my house, the installation with permits was done in less then 2 weeks, a couple of days after it pass inspection with flying colors. From all the reviews from other companies, tesla quoted me 2 months to complete, others still said at least a month. I am not sure how these guys did it but man it was fast, they also design it to look clean and a bit more modern, I will add pictures so they can speak for themselves. I needed to repair my skylight after noticing moisture on an area of the wood below it. I received…read moreseveral quotes, but Sunline Energy was the only company that recommended fixing the root of the problem rather than just putting a Band-Aid on it. My skylight had been installed incorrectly by another company, which was contributing to the moisture issue. Since skylight repairs can be a relatively small job, I found that not many reputable companies were interested in doing this type of work. I was very happy to find Sunline Energy. Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Based on my experience and the quality of Juan's work, I would highly recommend Sunline Energy to anyone needing skylight or related roof repairs.

Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

I hired AWS Solar to install solar panels on my home In May 2026. They completed the job a few…read moreweeks later. They did a very good jod. I am pleased. However, upon completeing the job, the project manager Tim Broughton called me, helped me log on to the Enphase app so that I could monitor the panels. After I confirmed that I was logged in, I was told that I was up and running And they were done. I was happy thinking I was now running on the sun. Wrong. So very wrong. I received my electric bill and astonished to see the electric portion was over $800.00. I called the power company and was told that the $130.00 application fee had not been paid. I notified Mr. Broughton and he immediatley saw that the bill for the application fee was paid and apologized for the error. Now the fun begins. I called the power company and asked when they would be out to install the proper meter for solar panels. I was informed that no application for a meter to be installed was on file and that I had to submit an application for interconnection. Hmm? No one mentioned anything to me about completing and application or that I had to contact the power company. I completed the PTO (Permission to Operate) form and based on the questions being asked and the information I needed to provide leads me to believe the Solar company was responsible for completing this form and sending the required fee. Ok. Lets not look to for someone to blame, lets just get the proper meter installed. I completed the PTO and submitted it. The power company came out a couple of weeks later and installed the a new meter. Onlyit was not a meter for solar panels. They installed the same new meter but it was the same meter as the meter I already had. I asked them why they didn't put on a solar meter and I was told that I needed to submit a PTO for a SOLAR METER, which is different. And by the way, they have a special person that installs solar meters and a special person to install regular meters. This seemed rather stupid to me. I ask the power comapany rep for the contact info for the solar department and he told he didn't know. I won't name the power company. LADwp. The one good thing the DWP rep did upon arriving to his office was to send an email to contact the proper department at the power company. I assumed he would have just gone about his business and let me flounder. I started on the second application which asked for job site photos. This was to me another indication that the solar installer was suppose to complete this form because Joe Citizen would not know what photos they were required. I did observe that periodically, the workers would take photos, but none were ever sent to me. Now I'm in the middle of August 2026 with fingers, legs, arms, eyes and anything else, maybe the dogs and cats, crossed hoping that this time I will get a meter. The bottom line is I would still recommend AWS SOLAR to anyone, but I'd have to caution them to make sure they get you connected and ALL fees are paid. Because I was dealing with the City of LA and being constantly sent to voice mail and waiting for call backs, this experience was horrendous.

The 4th year production shows improvement over the 3rd year as I kept the panels clean. It's 4 year in a row now the system failed to produce the minimum guaranteed production. AWS Solar chose to compensate for the shortfall again; we'll see what the 5th year production looks like. I suggested replacing some of the panels with the higher power ones to solve the issue, but I guess they want to see more data.

Their representative repeatedly assured me in writing that there were "no upfront fees or deposit required" and agreed to prepare contingency language allowing me to cancel without penalty if the funding was insufficient. After months of follow-ups, delays, and waiting for management to finalize the paperwork, I was suddenly informed that the company had implemented a "new process" requiring a non-refundable $1,000 payment before they would process the application, engineering review, or other preliminary work.
