Phone calls were always returned, progress reports on equipment purchase and installation were plentiful, and I felt attended to in every way. The installation was amazing. Several trucks pulled up on time and like little ants, every pro fanned out to do their jobs. The work area was left immaculate and when the project was okayed by Excel, everything was turned on and worked perfectly. Follow-up was reliable and I continue to feel that if I need anything, the folks at Namaste will be just a phone call away. I have been saving tons of $$$ since install and operation. They have handled all the rebate paperwork too. I can't recommend Namaste Solar highly enough! I'm writing at the moment because SunPower warranted my solar panels and they recently filed for bankruptcy protection. I had no idea. Thankfully, Namaste sent me and email informing me of the situation as well as the looming deadline. That's taking care of their customer. I'll that, a year or so ago, I had to install a new roof on my house. Namaste was very responsive and coordinated the work necessary to remove and reinstall my panels. Pricing was reasonable and service was excellent! After a forty minute long discussion and a call to his boss he finally agreed that I was right. Since this was a new employee I was inclined to let this pass. The company then scheduled my hail damage roof replacement to happen on a day where there was a 65% chance of rain with a high probability for hail. I contacted the company and told them that I did not want my roof replaced on a day with a forecast like this. I was initially told that the "paper" was guaranteed for thirty days and things were "fine". It took me just about having a meltdown for them to move the installation. No roofer would install his own roof on a day like this! The installation was supposed to take a day, but the work stretched into the next morning. I'd rate the shingle work as ok. The rows on the roll roofing over my porch were uneven. One spot even had a ¾ inch strip with no sand on it as there was insufficient overlap. The edge of the roofing looks like a wave pattern rather than a straight line. The contractor left a bunch of loose trash in my recycling bin that I had to sort out along with some other leftover materials on my porch. The only part of the work I would rate as excellent would be the gutter installation, which was done by a subcontractor. I was misled by the reviews into thinking I would get superior work done. In the future I'll definitely just go with the contractors recommended by my insurance company. The subpar work from Lifetime is just going to increase my insurance bills.

When I later scheduled a diagnostic visit for a non-cooling AC unit, the technician misidentified which condenser served which zone of the house and diagnosed a bad capacitor on the wrong unit. I paid a diagnostic fee but was left troubleshooting the actual problem myself after realizing the unit that was diagnosed was not the unit experiencing the issue. Mistakes happen, but the combination of poor follow-through, lack of attention to detail, and ongoing communication issues has left me with very little confidence in the company. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

Chris, our sales rep. took the time to do a manual J measurement throughout the house to ensure we were getting the right system for the house, which none of the other contractors even considered. After showing me all the options, we went with their RUUD top of the line system which came with a multi stage furnance, variable stage AC, and a heat pump. They applied the rebates offered by Xcel, so we didn't have to wait for the rebates, we just signed over the rebates to them during the sales process. The installers were top notch, kind, and ensured they took good care of our home. I couldnt be happier and highly recommend them. From a price point, they came out thousands less than the closest competitor, and I'd note the closest competitor wasn't willing to do a transfer of the rebates. We would have had to claim those after the sale.

Marty installed our A/C on top of our existing furnace four years ago, and we've dealt with problems ever since: * The furnace venting was installed incorrectly, creating a potentially dangerous exhaust issue. * The heat repeatedly tripped the thermostat circuit during cold weather. After one troubleshooting visit, Marty stopped responding, and we had to hire an electrician to fix it. * The A/C was installed with so little clearance that our water heater can no longer be removed from the utility closet. He measured while here, said it was "fine" - no way it fits in/out of there. Marty promised to come back and fix it but never did. * He also promised to help us obtain an energy rebate, but despite multiple follow-ups, he never responded. We repeatedly notified him about these issues and gave him opportunities to make them right. Instead, we were ignored. Now that our water heater needs replacing, we're facing thousands of dollars in additional costs because it can't be removed without cutting it apart, and we may have to switch to a tankless system simply because of the installation. Saving money upfront wasn't worth the long-term cost.
