Absolutely horrible customer service and a very disappointing experience…read more During an energy audit, my hardwood floor was damaged. I also discovered that the technician moved my security camera from the window to a table without asking. This was captured on my security footage. When I raised these concerns with management, I felt they were dismissed. The manager told me he believed the technician's account over mine despite the video I provided. I also informed him that I intended to leave an online review. During our conversation, he responded by saying, "I'll sue you for defamation." And, " I can't wait to see everyone on Reddit laugh at you" That response made me question whether customers feel comfortable leaving honest negative reviews after receiving that kind of warning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage anyone hiring these contractors to have security cameras and to document the condition of their home before and after service. In my opinion, moving a customer's security camera without permission is a serious security concern. Xcel's website has a list of companies you should use I'll provide a list below. I was pleased to find that REenergizeCO did them all and were more than just an installer but on mission to increase energy efficiency. From start to finish communication was fantastic. They first did the insulation and we noticed a difference almost immediately. They also took care of submitting the Xcel rebate paperwork for it. The solar panels and EVSE came a bit later. Again, they took care of all the paperwork with Xcel. The system has been working without flaw since and saving us tons of money in this inflated energy cost environment. We had them out recently to detach and reset the panels for a roof replacement. They took the opportunity to slightly tweak the layout for better efficiency. Still the same commitment to quality!

Initially, they promised everything we wanted to hear and even lied directly to our faces just to secure the sale. We had them install an entire solar system for our house, but a few years later, we discovered that we were misled about key aspects of the installation. Despite these issues, we attempted to work with them again to move the system to our new property. However, we were met with nothing but silence and delays, despite multiple empty promises from their manager. Their business practices are very shady, and we feel cheated. We will be sharing our experience with everyone we know and will be reporting them to the necessary authorities in Colorado, armed with video proof of their salesman's claims during the sale. Please consider this review seriously when looking for solar solutions.

Jason has been my main guy, and he was so responsive, and easy to work with. They came and fix every single issue that I had. 2 years ago we had a huge hail, but none of the solar panels were damaged. But we had to claim insurance and take the panels off and put them back on. Suntalk has been easy to work with, and they rewire everything, even put better insulations on the wirings. I had pigeons trying to make nests under the panels, and they put nets and guards around. Yesterday, I just realized that my SolarEdge data was not updating since March 3rd. Called Jason, and he told me how to reset the communication module, and everything is good now. SunTalk has great service! Thank you, Jason!!

I got the recommendation for Controlling Systems through ChatGPT and they didn't disappoint. The sales process best of the bunch. Chris, our sales rep. took the time to do a manual J measurement throughout the house to ensure we were getting the right system for the house, which none of the other contractors even considered. After showing me all the options, we went with their RUUD top of the line system which came with a multi stage furnance, variable stage AC, and a heat pump. They applied the rebates offered by Xcel, so we didn't have to wait for the rebates, we just signed over the rebates to them during the sales process. The installers were top notch, kind, and ensured they took good care of our home. I couldnt be happier and highly recommend them. From a price point, they came out thousands less than the closest competitor, and I'd note the closest competitor wasn't willing to do a transfer of the rebates. We would have had to claim those after the sale.

The summer 2025 I signed a contract with smart…read morewave solar and was told that the solar panels could go on my barn which has a large South facing roof, and I was told the project would be finished by December 31 for the tax credit. After signing the contract I was then told that they could not place the panels where we had agreed and they would have to go on the roof of the house with most of the panels facing either East or West decrease in the efficiency of the system by approximately 15%. They did not have the project installed by December 31, but sent me a letter anyway that stated it was installed and recommended I give that to my tax person. In essence asking me to commit tax fraud. As part of the project to power walls were to be installed. They install them on the front of my house. I complained and they told me (with much attitude) that I had signed off on the plans. I had signed off on the plans thinking I was only signing off on placement of the solar panels and as a layperson I could not find the power walls on the plans. Finally after months of complaining someone told me where the power walls were on the plans and they were supposed to go on the back of the house to begin with. So, there electricians cannot read the plans either? Additionally, the electricians had a put a new ground in and instead of calling 811 to find where the lines were they spiked their ground through the main power line to our house. I have been in contact with one of the owners of the company and I will email him but not get a response for weeks. The last time I contacted him 3 weeks went by without a response and finally he said "sorry I was out of town". I wish I could take 3 weeks off without contacting my clients. Now, 10 months after signing the contract all of the solar panels are still not installed and all of the wiring to the solar panels still goes to the front of our house. 1. I feel as though I was lied to multiple times 2. Their own people cannot read or do not care about the plans for the project. 3. Very poor customer service from both being given attitude for their mistakes and extended periods of time with no contact at all.

Oh and they left my doors open or unlocked...I have them on video; not even bothering to check. I voiced my displeasure and haven't received a response. All in all I would avoid this place like the plague as I'm concerned I'm gonna have nothing but problems and people unable to fix it. Seriously find someone else.
