this is a company that don't offer quality, and service after you finish paying them. took them over a month+ to get city approve. they say it was due to change I requested. this company from sale to engineer to install did not know what they were or care. There were trees from neighbor blocking the sun. they went ahead and install the panel there. therefore I inform them to correct the error. this company fail to follow through with paperwork. the project had been continues to delay. now the system finally received PTO from SCE on Dec 23. today is Jan 13, the system is still in off mod. because they were to busy " in Orange county". today Linh threaten me because I still need there service to service my system in the future so I have to keep a good relationship with them. oh.. the contract signed on Aug 27 2024, supposed to have 10K battery install, there was not any paperwork submitted. read more

If you are planning on getting a 10 year or longer lease with this company, don't even think about. Their customer service is utterly disgusting. They'll literally leave you hanging just because of their reason "our technician is in Orange County". I have called them almost every other week for the past month or two and they gave me the exact same reason. That's a 50 minute drive with traffic included by the way. A 50 min drive that for some reason they can't make, and would rather leave you calling for two months (going to be more I'm sure.) I told them I can't check how much power is being generated online, and they told me "we told you last time not to change your internet". Oh so sorry, my router was broken, I guess I was supposed to deal with on/off internet connection because that's exactly what it sounds like they wanted me to do. We missed many chances before to install the solar system, one day I found a flyer from Solar Solution ( or Sun Power Co.), and I called them, the sales team responded very fast and I made an appointment with them, The Linh and Jeff from Solar Solution came to visit me next day, They tell me the benefits for installation of a solar system, the process is very easy, run credit check and compare my existing usage of electricity with Edison, and we decided to buy the system, the good thing is we don't need to spend any money on the system, and we also get 30% tax credit form the total cost, I think it is good timing for us, because they told the program may end soon, so we decided immediately. I had my solar system installed in 2015. Did some price check, they offered better price (not a lot). But if I had chance to go back, I probably avoid them. Beginning they did the job very fast. After the phase that they got all the payments , you had to push them for everything. Because the bank I borrow money only fund money in phases, at certain stage they will release all the fund. After that phase, solar solutions 4 you don't care much about you. Also, they promised to give first few years of cleaning the system for free. But they never did. Contact them several times, all i got is sorry and promises. Then, I realize some of panels not working. Contact them for warranty repair. We were going to get solar from Tesla but before finishing up the permit to install, the solar team included the sales rep who got laid off and nobody takes over our contract nor notified us, just leave us hanging in the middle of nowhere, we have to call to cancel. Thanks to Jeff who we met at the 168 supermarkets on Las Tunas. He was the one who told us about Tesla laid off or else we were still waiting for the result from the air. Unfortunate about the Tesla but fortunate that we met Jeff, from solar solution. He was explaining the Sun Power Solar product to us very well so we decided to set an appointment to meet Linh for further explanation to understand more thoroughly. We had very little knowledge about solar and Linh was very professional, patient, who knew about her product very well and explained in a very detailed matter for us to understand. Here is an update. Over all we are satisfied with the work Solar Solutions has done with our system. They did fully address the communication issues to address the situation and got us what we needed with a full and sincere apology. We have finished wrapping up the project after a 2nd rescheduling and received all the necessary tax document that we needed. And the manager, prior to her visit, have scheduled our cleaning services 3 years out in advance. We've reached out for additional questions on our system and utility billing. It turns out they are really pack and busy at this time of year so we are taking off one star for communication issues we encountered. There should be an improvement there. To clarify, there is nothing wrong with the system and we are happy with the system as we are going green. Loved their 25 years production warranty Sun Power has to offered. We are glad because with we end up with a utility credit in June after 20 days our solar panel started servicing back in May. Pointer: If you are thinking about going add a a battery option to your solar system to carry it off grid, the current tech and price and capacity does not work up to our household need to carry it off grid.
