I had the pleasure to meet Jose Jr and Jose Sr. When I hire contractors the little things and details matter. My observations why this is such a great company is the following- 1. Price quoted is price paid. 2. On time arrival, with a text in advance letting me know they are on the way. 3. High professionalism in interactions. Pleasant, friendly, courteous. 4. Awareness to put on shoe covering entering my house. Using protective padding to protect floor. 5. Working efficiently, demonstrating expertise and knowledge. 6. Friendly dialogue to answer questions during the installation. 6. Clean up afterwards. Leaving the area as clean as when entered. 7. Some nice things about this place is that they have someone answering phones and seems like they have multiple technicians so if you need someone in a hurry, maybe they are worth a shot. I believe my technicians name was Mark. He spent about an hour and seemingly fixed the problem. We then used the bathtub and then it was leaking once again. Some scheduling conflicts happened and they weren't able to get anyone out to my place as quickly but mark did eventually return, just much later same day. He then indicated he had to go get a part and wouldn't be able to do that until the next morning at least. Next morning he came and spent some more time and was able to maybe fix it so the leak was less but still present. Told me that was the best he could do. My usual plumber was available the following day. He came, fixed it in about 45 mins and for a fraction of the price. In the end my usual plumber said that this guy used a wrong size part and left a screw loose (potentially why it was still leaking). So overall not really happy with this company and the technician they sent out.

The latest project I had for him was redesign my dryer vent as the duct was cracked at the opening near the outlet. He made sure the pipes slope in the right incline to ensure the flapper is open when air flows out and remain close otherwise so pests would be kept out. I got most of the parts ready for the project and he was able to make use of them to the fullest even though not all was ideal: e. g. no elbows, need straps to secure pipe to wood and a 4 ft vent duct instead of the standard 8 ft that would be stronger. He was able to grime the pipe edges for better connections with his tool. We saw very good air flow after all was finished.

He carefully explained that due to the age of our home and the poor quality of our copper pipes, a repipe would eliminate the worry of future probable leaks. Derral also gave us a cost estimate for a repipe and explained the leaky pipes could be repaired at a much lower price. Not wanting to deal with the doom of another impending leak, we chose to repipe using a combination of PEX and high-quality copper pipes. Derral's team showed up on time and the repiping was completed in LESS than SIX HOURS! This time frame included repairing all holes in walls and clean up! It is amazing how we take running tap water for granted, but we will never take Derral Yee and his team for granted. Derral was the utmost professional who was in constant contact with us by keeping us informed about scheduling. He always sent us his projected ETA, and he always showed up on time. His projected estimate was exactly what he said it would be to the penny. He required a 10% deposit and payment in full upon completion and satisfaction of the project. They couldn't figure out a reason, and we even had a 2nd company out to check.
