I can't recommend Marco and his team highly enough. I first contacted Marco in early November 2025--right in the middle of the year-end rush when everyone (myself included) was trying to get their tax credit in before the deadline. Despite how hectic that time was, he had my system fully installed and running just over a month later, in early December. Beyond the end result, the overall experience was outstanding. If I texted Marco, his average response time was probably around 15 minutes. He answered all of my questions and genuinely made me feel like I was working with a real person, not a faceless big solar company or door-to-door charlatan. His pricing was about average for the market, but the service was easily 10/10. A couple of days after turning the system on, Marco proactively reached out to let me know my battery was showing an error code. He sent someone out and had it resolved within a few hours. I have never written a review like this, but Solar Solutions Company in Simi Valley absolutely deserves it. Marco, the owner, personally answered my call. My original solar installer went out of business before setting up monitoring, and months later my system stopped generating and my electric bill shot up. Marco had me send photos of my SolarEdge inverter and then walked me through a hard reset, explaining that his goal was to save me the cost of a service visit if it worked. He did this while visiting with his grandkids. When the reset did not work, he scheduled a visit and told me there would be no charge, even if it was a simple fix, and that he would set up monitoring for free as well. He showed up on time, diagnosed a failed inverter, confirmed it was under warranty, and handled everything with SolarEdge. He texted me the next day with the warranty replacement number for the inverter. SolarEdge took over a month to ship it, but Marco checked in several times and let me know as soon as it shipped. When he came out to install the replacement inverter, he discovered SolarEdge had sent a newer model. He was completely honest and referred me to a trusted independent contractor who completed the installation a couple of weeks later. From start to finish, Marco never charged me a dime. I reached out for help with a solar array I've got that isn't generating power, and he showed up on time and was probably the most pleasant contractor I've ever met. He spent a half hour diagnosing the issue, and when he saw that it was something simple, he told ME what to do, offered to make the appropriate calls to the inverter company to verify my warranty FOR me, and wouldn't charge me anything (even after I offered!) because he said he doesn't charge unless there's work to be done! Unbelievable. This is a man who has completely become my ONLY option for solar and all things electrical! Marco and his team gave me the most incredible solar installation experience for our home, from the original design, planning, and coordinating for the delivery of panels and equipment needed by the roofers and scheduling the equipment installers, working with other trades, leaving the area clean, and painting the pipes to match the house's exterior. It was an all-around great experience. They showed up on time and got everything done on time. The inspections with the fire marshall, city inspectors, and the power company were handled professionally. The power company helped us complete the paperwork to complete our billing, which is an outstanding service. Now for the big question: price. They were priced very competitively. Sun Run came to our home before, and the price was double that of half the system. So they are priced great. When we needed help with the app on our phone, we took care of one phone call to Marco. For many years, I've always wanted solar for my moms home. But mom is old-fashioned and always said, her money, her house. Get your own home and buy solar. She didn't believe in Solar and thought it was a waste of money. The nights can be very hot in the summer and keeping the windows open, doesn't help. I knew my mom hated the hot nights. She would keep the fans high, windows open, laying on the bed, sweating, headaches, etc. I never understood why, for years, she behaved this way. Playing the ignorant game every year. Telling me, she doesn't have the money to pay for the AC but is willing to be tortured by the summer heat and cold winters. As my mom grew older, she could no longer stand the summer heat and cold winters. My mom finally gave in. We went looking for solar. Here's my story. Before selecting this company, another company came up to my home. It was Lumio, formerly known as Lift Energy. They were young door-to-door reps. At least they weren't Mormons. They had great information and offered a great price. Eight 400 watt solar panels. I told them I would sit on it for about a couple of weeks before making my final decision. Instead, they showed up frequently, asking me why we haven't agreed to their plans. At one point, they shook my hands and said congrats on signing up with them. I immediately stopped them, saying I wasn't signing on. Not until I researched their business and other solar companies. They were bummed. I eventually called Imperial Solar for info, and I even went to Costco to speak to Sun Run. Imperial is expensive, but they have a fantastic reputation. Sun Run has a decent reputation online. But Lumio aka Lift Energy has a bad reputation. I even called the place asking to speak to management or anyone, left many messages, and nobody called back. I researched Solar Solutions. There weren't too many reviews on them but here on Yelp, they have a great reputation and almost five stars. So I called them for more info. I immediately got a call from Brandon or Eugene. I forgot. They were very nice and professional. Brandon showed up, very polite, and very informative. He showed us everything, prices, design, what it'll do and not do, etc. Brandon was great to talk to. Anytime we had a question about solar or the panels, he answered them immediately. Even talking to Eugene was great. They took pride in their work. We agreed with eight 360 watt solar panels. My mom bought the system, not leased it. We went with Solar Solutions. The other two companies didn't like our decision. Sun Run was irritated over the phone and Lumio tried, to the very end, to change our minds by lowering the prices down further. But I told them nicely, no. They couldn't understand why we went with Solar Solutions. As I said before, if I can't talk to someone from the company they work for, I don't want to do business. If I get into trouble, I need to speak to someone immediately. Not just the reps, but to management. Anyway, Solar Solutions showed up a day before to drop the panels and stuff off. The next day, the workers and Brandon showed up to start working. It took one day. No damage to the roof or home. Very professional work. The city and Edison Electric didn't like the solar box on the side of our home, as it was in the neighbor's front yard. So Solar Solutions put it in front. We and Solar Solutions got on Edison's case to turn on the grid, so we can use the Solar system. Edison, within a week, turned it on. Eugene showed up and helped connect the internet to the solar box so they and I can monitor the solar energy we create and use. Since then, our electric bills are zero! We turned on the AC towards the end of the summer, and it felt so good. Again, the electric bills showed up negative instead of owing something. It was great to see. My mom, afterwards, has told people to buy solar. Buy it from this company. Both Brandon and Eugene are great people to work with. We recommend Solar Solutions. read more

Our two year old inverter quit recently. The company that installed our system is no longer in business, and so I was at a loss as to how I should proceed. We chose Solar Solutions for our electrical solar because of their excellent customer service and quality work they had done for us previously on our pool solar.
