To add onto that, when it was time for me to turn over on my stomach, there was still wax on my leg which ripped the paper lining I was laying on & I could see old blood stains on the cloth under. At that moment, I seriously should have walked out and left. I still left a tip but needs serious improvement as I expected more from a service that has 4.8 stars on Yelp. Avoid if you value cleanliness, etiquette, and overall have high expectations. Will be returning back to my previous waxer.

I was nannying PLUS I had my son for the week. So taking care of 3 boys was a handful! So thankfully, they worked with my appt and were able to push it back by an hr. The boys came in and waited in the lobby and the girls were patient while I rushed in and got taken care of by Bri. She was so nice and communicative and fast. There was never any mention of CURLING or ingrown nails. and I agreed to leave everything as is. What's unfair is you trying to paint this as something it wasn't. People don't walk out feeling unsatisfied for no reason. And as far as the money, I always paid cash and tipped 30%. I didn't loose anything over this incident, on the other hand you lost a customer. The lack of communication and service is on you sir.

I always skip from nail salon to nail salon because I've never found anything to make me stay or be commuted but! I was told about Solara during a sugaring appointment and thought I'd give it a try. I went right after and just walked in asking if they could take me, the owner/ front desk, said they mainly go by appointments (nothing wrong with that) but accommodated me with a nail tech, Angel which was amazing! I dont expect that to happen often! She was amazing and mail my nail inspo into real life! Then they made room for me for a pedicure also! I got the lavender scrub and it was so so relaxing. Over all both nail techs were sweethearts, and the owner was so welcoming! I'm so happy I found my go to nail salon! I even prebooked my next appointment! I have had the best service at Solara nail bar! My granddaughter and I discovered this place when she was attending CSULB, it was close enough for both of us to attend. Nicole O'brien does my gel dip manicure every time I go. Recently, she also offered to make an arrangement with the manager to visit me in the hospital and do my nails. I'm not impressed; despite the good reviews, my nails were done hastily and poorly shaped. The pedicure was mediocre, with a mere 10-minute calf rub passing as a foot massage.
