No joke, stay away from this dentist she is the worse dentist I have ever met in my adult life. When she is wrong she will make you feel crazy and question your own abilities to know it feels off, i just left another dentist office with a different Dr who confirmed her work is garbage. It took her over two years to deliver my case ( a partial)and it's still wrong. Stupid me, I also paid up front! I've been coming here for longer than I can remember. At least 13 years I think, but I have had issues with my teeth all my life so went thru a number of dentists before I met Dr B. Her work, her attention to detail, and the care she affords her patients is what has kept me here. She takes the time to explain. She takes time to get to know you. She remembers which of my twins is older or younger even though we see each other as little as possible. If that isn't what you're looking for in a dental practice then keep looking. This place welcomes you, remembers you, and treats you like they care and if you can find that anywhere it means something these days! Could not recommend this practice more. I went to this dentist because they were in the 1 Dental plan ( a discount program) and in order to receive the discount I had to use a dentist in their network. Bad choice. Bianca McWilliams extracted two teeth and chipped my jaw bone. I believe she was not qualified to do dental surgery. Needless to say I need a new dentist and not one from 1Dental network I canceled this plan but will not receive any refund even though I have 7 months left. Not customer service at all. Also the dentist husband has his practice there as well called Solaris Wellness. It is anything but wellness oriented. I have been going to Solaris Dentistry for years now. Teeth cleaning and general check ups. Most recently wanted some help in filling in some old holes in my mouth of which she had made suggestions previously. So I did have 1 implant and due to other problems, she made me a falsie, so to speak, where I needed it. I am most happy with both. The implant fit perfectly and no problems. We have been to many, many dental offices over the years.,...this one is great. The front office staff have been very helpful with our insurance company's odd paperwork requests (ugh!) Dr. McWilliams is super, super nice, and has done a fabulous job on my fillings/crowns/cleanings. The entire office is VERY kind to my young daughters when I have to bring them in during one of my own appointments! I made a big mistake by changing my dental plan from PPO to HMO. My wife and I first went to a dentist on Alma School and Queen Creek. The dentist told us both that we needed work that the insurance wouldn't cover and we would be responsible for over $1000.00 out of pocket. I thought this was odd as we regularly went to our dental appointments and there wasn't anything concerning regarding our teeth. I then made an appointment at Solaris dental to get a second opinion. I did not disclose my experience with my previous dentist. The care I received from Dr. Bianca was awesome. She took the time to check my teeth, explain a cavity that needed to be filled and informed me that overall my teeth were in good shape...If anyone has had a bad experience with a dentist, try Dr. Bianca and I guarantee you will not regret it...Oh, and the out of pocket for my visit was $0... read more

After several appointments under my belt with Dr. Bianca Chan McWilliams (I believe in 2nd chances) I won't be back. She has done each of my cleanings (routine; no big deal) with increasingly poor end results. My complaints of sensitive tooth which she "crowned" were "Poo-Pooed" and not investigated, no ex-ray & no physical assessment were done! I have enough experience to know what symptoms I have had prior to needing a previous root canal! Staff is routinely "non-customer service oriented" and never the same. RED FLAG !!! Find a different dentist! Since I was a toddler I have visited the dentist every six months. I have a mouth full of fillings and a 30 year old crown, so I am no amateur when it comes to identifying whether or not I am getting good dental care. I have never had a dentist clean my teeth until I visited Solaris. Yes, your dentist is the hygienist at this office. And that's not a good thing. You want someone specifically trained in this art---yes is is an art because some hygienist are really great and others leave you with bleeding and sore gums for days.. Cleaning teeth is not the primary focus of a DENTIST's training. While the end result was ok, the process was one of the worst I have ever sat through for a teeth cleaning. The tube suctioning water repeatedly grabbed my tongue, iips or cheek. Since it wasn't suctioning properly, it caused water/saliva to build up and caused me to start choking/coughing. Not what you want happening when sharp instruments are in your mouth. I was poked outside of the lip and other odd areas several times after the dental instrument apparently slipped. In scraping the teeth, I have never had anyone put the pressure on my teeth that this dentist did. There were several other issues. The cleaning itself I would rate a 2 because the end result was mostly satisfactory. The dental equipment used to take pics of the teeth is not very current. Nothing is done for patient comfort (e.g. headphones hooked to a television so you can't hear the noise of dentistry.). The absolute worst thing about this dental practice is the MEDICAL procedures offered. I would give ZERO stars for this alone. A TV in the waiting room continually flashes a list of all the procedures the office offers. Examples include botox and hormone replacement therapy. The worst of this list in my mind is that they offer trigger point therapy. I receive that therapy for neck problems from a doctor board certified in pain management AND anesthesiology)). A needle containing steroids is inserted in multiple area (I typically receive 10-15 shots in my neck and shoulder). It is a procedure not without risk. One complication is that the lung is right under common treatment areas and even the most accomplished of doctors can nick the lung. I spent 8 days in the hospital with a collapsed lung a few years ago caused by a medical error in placing the needle . Do you want your dental office performing this type of procedure?????? PLEASE see a doctor's office and not a dentist's office for medical care. Don't use a "medical spa" that doesn't have a doctor with a background in the procedure you want sitting right there and actually performing procedures in that office. There are doctor's out there performing procedures they have had one day of training on. Research the doctor's history....don't make assumptions. There are also"medical spas" out there that are "supervised" by a doctor. That often can mean that a doctor does absolutely nothing but lend his/her name to the spa so that a spa can claim the procedure is "supervised"" by a doctor. (botox, fillers an lasers are common procedures performed by non-doctors at medical "spas" where there is actually no doctor around) This is done to get around state laws that require "supervision" by a doctor for the procedure, but all they are doing to using a piece of paper to state the "spa" personnel are being "supervised". Make sure there really is a doctor actively supervising staff!!!! Don't be foolish and risk your health to save some money. Rant over! read more

DO NOT USE Dr. Bianca McWilliams or Solaris Dental Health!!! She is very unprofessional and rude! Dr. McWilliams placed a crown that failed a short time later , she refused to help resolve the situation, nor refund my out of pocket money paid to her, knowing I can not resubmit this to my insurance for five years!!! I am now stuck having to pay $1500 out of pocket for a new one! Her response thru email was "unfortunately whatever happened for the crown to break is unknown (I) was in for a cleaning 6 months after the placement of the crown and it was not broke then" ?!?!?!? She did not x-Ray this crown or exam the crown what so ever at that time so how can she say it was not failing then?!?!?!?! Dr. McWilliams was well aware of this "issue" after x-rays showed cracks/fractures in the crown were taken at a different dentist office, these pictures were sent to her office 6 months before the crown finally broke in half. She will not except my phone calls, return my phone or email me personally and after I made 3 separate phone calls into the her office her office manager Michael threatened me a restraining order?!?!?!?! (Funny I called Chandler Police dept. and not only were dumbfounded they advised me on what to do with this) I have never been treated so horribly and experience such unprofessionalism from a medical office in my life! She is cowardly and hides behind her ever changing staff!!! Obviously she treats her staff the same as her patients! I would not recommend Dr. McWilliams or Solaris Dental Health to anyone ever!!! read more

Although Dr. McWilliams herself is always courteous and professional, her office staff has been her undoing. I have had several phone calls over the past few years from rude receptionists either forcefully rescheduling my appointment or tryinig to get me to come in and complete work that I didn't need (a tooth on the watch list would all of the sudden need to be filled). This latest experience was the worst. I had several fillings completed over a period of two days. My insurance paid their part and the rest was left to me. Simple enough right? Wrong. Each time I asked, I got a new total. They couldn't give me a conclusive total. Somehow each time I asked, the number kept going up (172, 320, 340, 445, etc). I finally became sick of arguing and wasting my time and agreed to pay a total of 445. My insurance sent me an invoice shortly thereafter that proved I overpaid by around $30. I have attempted twice now to retrieve that refund and have to get any money back. The first attempt resulted in a letter being sent to me two weeks after my inquiry listing out why they didn't owe me anything. Among the many other errors on this hand written invoice, there was some pretty poor math. Apparently in their minds, 50+22=82 Nice. I informed them of their mistake again two weeks ago and asked yet again for a refund. No contact since. Really professional. The office staff is rude, condescending, has no follow through and is apparently inept at basic math. If you are looking for a fun filled adventure akin to a game show when it comes to paying your dental bills, this is the place for you (and behind door number 1....). If you would rather not play a guessing game with your dental care, perhaps another dental practice would be better suited. read more

The woman in the billing department made the experience quite unfavorable. About 5 1/2 months after my appointment, I received a message that my claim had not been submitted because of problems with my insurance. It took about a week of me calling back to finally get someone on the phone to discuss the issue and make sure everything was taken care of. The woman in the billing department was rude and treated me with an undeserved attitude. Additionally, after clearing up the issue, I received a bill threatening that I owed Collections for the claim that wasn't submitted. The woman in the billing department advised me that my insurance confirmed with her that they would not take a claim after 6 months of the appointment date and that my claim may not be accepted by insurance because of the time crunch we were now in (implying that I would be responsible for the bill regardless that I was not aware of the issue until it was almost too late); however, three different insurance representatives confirmed without hesitation that the policy was 1 year. I left multiple messages requesting a call back for confirmation that the issue was being resolved and rarely received a call back. My actual appointments with my dental hygienist were positive but the attitude and lack of customer service the woman in the billing department exhibited was enough to ensure I never return to this dental office. read more
