I was very nervous to have this done especially because I had never been under anesthesia. I went in for my consultation on a Monday and they were able to schedule my procedure Friday of the same week. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming during my entire experience. Dr. Wilson explained everything that would need to be done very clearly and helped me to feel at ease. I opted for Exparel to be given during my procedure and it was definitely worth it. I experienced no pain during my recovery only mild soreness which was relieved with Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his team if you find yourself in need of oral surgery. They even sent me beautiful flowers during my recovery.

After the appointment was done, the staff directed me to an office where they demanded I pay $300 for the scan because they had determined after the fact that neither my medical insurance nor dental insurance would cover it. At no point before the scan was I told that a prior authorization for the scan had failed or that this was the amount out of pocket that I would pay. Upon complaint, I found the staff extremely hard to work with and disrespectful. Be extremely careful of this office as they are essentially scamming patients out of money by not disclosing any costs or insurance limitations beforehand.

I had a dental implant…read morenearly a year ago, but even now, I'm super excited to give kudos to an exceptional practice like Canyon State Oral and Dental Implant Surgery. Why does Yelp only give you the option of 5 stars? This practice deserves so many more! Starting with walking in the door, the waiting room is decorated so tastefully, it's very clean, and everyone in the front office is REALLY nice. The exam and procedure rooms are actually serene, with beautiful decor and windows to look out. And then the surgery team--I don't even know where to start. I am the most anxious (adult :-) patient they have probably ever encountered, but they were so kind and considerate it's INCREDIBLE!
