What a cute little boutique!! I LOVE trying out new places that have reformers! Plenty of free street parking. Walk into the building to find the studio which is located towards the back. Beautiful studio. Colors are calming to your soul. I feel like this studio kind of reminded me of Barbie pink. There were about six reformers that were totally new. Very clean studio and cute to boot. There was good spacing between the reformers. Plenty of equipment to use like balls and wrist/ankle weights. Samantha will come and adjust you if needed. Samantha incorporates a little more yoga and breathing and reading of cards in her class compared to other places that I go to which to be quite honest I can do without, but to each their own. The other ladies seemed to like it. There's several lockers with a key if you need it. There's a place to sit either inside the studio or outside if you need to wait. Wipes given after class so that you can wipe up the equipment after you are done. Water available. There's even some tea! If you want to buy something like grip socks, she has those to. Best Pilates studio in LA, hands down. Samantha is extremely intuitive and healing. I've been to some studios where they have no idea how their clients body's are doing and are just drilling down the same routines. Samantha changes it up and is so effective while being low impact. For the last couple years I've had SI joint pain and piriformis syndrome and have needed to get regular PT and chiropractic adjustments to alleviate some of the pain. In only two weeks of regular practice at Solates By Samantha, I'm 95% pain free, and for the first time ever, I notice a decrease and toning in my post-menopausal mid-belly pooch! Run don't walk, this is the best Pilates session I've been to! I tried Samantha's reformer class yesterday, and was blown away by the entire experience. The workout itself was perfect, I felt the burn in my muscles (and still do today!) and the pacing was careful and structured, letting you really work each muscle properly. Samantha herself was our instructor for this session and she was such a breath of fresh air in my day! She's kind, welcoming and supportive. She will help you adjust your form so you get the best workout which I always appreciate. BONUSES: GORGEOUS new equipment, the best I've used in LA. And we ended our time with a calming sound bath. I walked home after but was so relaxed I might have actually floated home??
