After having such a wonderful experience with Soleil Tans I find it hard to believe the bad reviews. I received the spray groupon, as well as the tanning groupon and went into the salon. Having not tanned in a while, I was unsure of exactly what lotion to use and how long to go in. The girls that work there are extremely informative and will work with you to figure out what's best. They also really enforce wearing eye wear which is good. Before going here I had no idea it was a state law and how dangerous it is to not wear the goggles. I ended up tanning in their silver bullet and it was great. I didn't burn since the girl understood what my skin type and what it could handle. They gave me the number to make a spray appointment, although I didn't get an answer when I first called I left a message and got a call back the next day which is understandable since it's such a busy time with proms and such. Arrived for my spray tan with no problems. The girl carefully explained all color choices, and told me her suggestion which was great. I was a little fair so I did the middle color, dark, and it looks like a beautiful natural glow. Have had it for 4 days now with some fading, but the color is still even and not blotchy. Highly recommend, however don't make your appointment last minute give about 2 days notice. read more

I am very frustrated and disgusted with Soiel Tans... worst customer service ever. I recently used the GROUPON and purchase airbrush tanning package, which is by appointment only (only for groupon customer) but they refuse to give you one. 5 phone calls and a series of lies they told me to get a refund from groupon. I came there without an appointment, 20 min drive from my house they told me come over, because they didn't know I had groupon deal . When they found out that i had groupon package they started arguing being very nasty to me with no reason and try to find any way not to give me an appt.. "GREAT DEALS" BIG SCAMS . I moved to Old Bridge almost about 2 years ago and the one thing I missed about my hometown was a good tanning salon. There were many options when I got to Old Bridge and didn't have the most pleasant experiences until I got a membership at Soleil Tans. I love this place! Very clean, very helpful employees, and all tanning beds are incredible! I absolutely LOVE the Solarix!!!! The packages and sessions are affordable (not too overly priced), the music playing in the background makes the tanning session much more enjoyable (the little things!). I also find it a plus that the employees always make sure that you have lotion and eye wear with you; they truly care about your safety! I'm a happy customer and would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

I was tanning some where else for a couple of years now but there hours weren't great so I decided to try Soleil cause I think there hours are more convenient and I'm so happy I did there beds are really nice and up to date. Customer service was great Brittany was awesome she gave me a tour and explained every single bed they have and all the different packages they offer I love that they have a bed just for your legs and one just for your face! I didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision so I did one of the specials they were offering and I am now on my way to become a member! I love this salon. I find everyone to be so helpful, friendly and funny!! The salon is always spotless and they are always running some sort of special (sign up for them!). Not only that - they give back to the community too. The holidays there are food drives. Right now there is a school supply drive. And they give free tans just for dropping off stuff and you also get entered to win free tans! In a world of everything "automated" it's nice to see a business that not only answers the phone - they understands customer service.. And the concept we can give our money to anyone.... I have been going to Soleil on and off since I am in high school. Every time I walk into their salon I always receive great customer service. Unfortunately, this year I was having an issue with billing. Sean, the salons CEO, personally called me and fixed the problem. He was so kind to me and personally took the time out of his Saturday to reach out and help me with this small issue. I totally appreciate it. Amazing experience! All new staff since I was there a few years ago and newer, better beds. Ive met 3 different sales people the last week and every one of them is friendly and helpful. Professional yet laid back atmosphere and totally clean! I will never go back to the overpriced, high pressure sales and semi clean salon i was at before. This place has finally lived up to their potential. No reason to ever go elsewhere. Great job to Shawn and staff! OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF!! Lauren especially, she is so professional and so friendly. I went in for a spray tan and came out looking amazing. Lauren did such a great job. She did this all with customers in the store, and none of them waited to tan!! I highly recommend this place to family, friends and everyone!! New to the tanning scene these folks hooked me up with the proper package at the right price. I was not forced into anything, nor was I taken advantage of. It's been roughly two weeks and I'm close to being where I need to be with my tan. The staff is always friendly and willing to give advice. The place is spotless and the machines are kept up to date with new bulbs. The tanning beds are always clean are ready to go when you arrive. Privacy is key, no one ever bothers you. I'd highly suggest this place to anyone serious about getting a great looking tan. read more

I went here and joined for a 1 month membership in MAY, they had told me they would cancel it as soon as the month ended, They never canceled this, I even had spoke to there corporate office several times to discover they never followed through with the cancelation and are STILL continuing to bill me , it is now September. The only way I could stop the charges was through my credit card , disputes, and cancel. There service was very unprofessional, and I recommend no one should go through this for a tanning salon. This is the BEST TANNING SALON around! !!!. Between their great packages and upgrades it is DEFINITELY worth the 19.99 a month. The staff is AWESOME&KNOWLEDGEABLE not only on the beds but which tanning products are best for your skin type. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERY1 try this tanning experience. Absolutely in love with this place! The entire staff is so beyond helpful and friendly. Upon entering the salon, I received a full explanation of all of the services they offer and was given a tour of the facility which was extremely helpful. I have been a member at Soleil in Matawan since 2009, and though it isn't a fancy place, it does have everything you need. . Some of these reviews are ridiculous. I have my own goggles that I carry with me when I know I am going to stop in there. I have always purchased my tanning lotions there and have never had an issue with them being expired either . This is my third year at Soleil tanning. I always have a great experience at this place .The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always makes you feel comfortable. The salon is clean and well organized.I use the Prestige bed which is a lay down tanning bed. Its always clean and hygienic. Prices were reasonable. Very happy with my first experience at the Matawan location. Natalie explained everything and gave me a tour of their facility - explaining each and every bed and all of their differences before I agreed to everything.
