I was home and met with him outside to discuss what I wanted to get done. I'm a project engineer on heavy civil projects that has built roads and bridges my whole adult life but I don't have access to equipment small enough to fit between houses to excavate the existing driveway. Somehow Gus was both incredibly condescending (like other reviews) and appeared to lack the skill required to do the job. I assume if you're listed as a paving company you would know what "Subbase" is. I also asked the width of the paver because its narrow between the houses, the response I got is it was just a LeeBoy with no width instead he said they would just place it by hand... At that point, I'd might as well rent a pump truck and use concrete. The whole interaction was one condescending remark after another.
