Falsely advertised prices. The price listed online is not what they are actually selling the car for. Dealer doc/registration/DMV fees are to be expected. Sales tax is to be expected. But they add a "reconditioning" fee, that includes their cost for repairs and cleaning to get the car ready to sell. In other words, what should be included in the sales price if they want that cost covered. That cost doesn't get brought up until you get the purchase order. If they want the customer to cover those costs, that needs to be included in the list price. read more

But the team at solid motors just make a willing wage. I never have to worry about them over pricing to things. I've also been regularly getting my oil change there and they check your car for you without asking if it needs maintenance which I never needed. My car runs perfect. It's the type of establishment that i can't live without. I'll be buying my kids cars from them as well. If they don't have the car you want just ask! Went there with 4-5k to put down and they went through there one credit union, cause apparently they look like they only go though that one only. I explained I'm a independent contractor and they still wanted proof of income, mind you the vehicle was $13,500 and mind you I was willing to place $4-5k down. I received a letter from there credit union approving me for the vehicle and 63 month term. Called the dealership and the guy was still claiming I need proof of income! Even though I was approved by there own credit union. I even spoke with their credit union reps who seemed baffled cause that dealership claimed I needed proof of income! One of the things that brought my husband here in the first place was that they offer a 6 month 6,000 mile warranty. We ended up buying an extended warranty which gives us piece of mind of not having to worry about a major repair down the road if it would happen. I bought my car in May and have had nothing but issues. First thing that went out was a sensor which was covered under the warranty fortunately. Now my A/C is out in half my vehicle while it's over 100 outside and I have kids. Of course it's not covered under the warranty and going to cost a lot to fix. After getting my car back from them fixing the seatbelts which was a safety hazard, my a/c now shuts off and on and my tire sensor is on. Long story short trade in was not an option, but they gave me another chance by "approving" a loan without trading the car in.So i was okay with it. Paper works and everything done, I got to take home my vehicle. Drove it for a little less than 24 Hours. Next day, 4/26 I got a phone-call from this dealership saying, they don't have an offer. So I was shocked, frustrated and a little angry. I had to return the vehicle. It didn't make sense. But it was pretty un professional to allow someone to take a vehicle home sign documents and everything only to find out"theres no offer"?!?! It is what it is. One thing I know..
